1 'From among the Israelites, summon your brother Aaron and his sons to be priests in my service:Aaron and Aaron's sons Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.	1 Tu fa' avvicinare tuo fratello Aronne e i suoi figli con lui dal mezzo dei figli d'Israele, perché sia mio sacerdote: Aronne, Nadab, Abiu, Eleazaro, Itamar, figli di Aronne.
2 For your brother Aaron you wil make sacred vestments to give dignity and magnificence.	2 Farai vesti sacre per tuo fratello Aronne, in gloria e decoro.
3 You will instruct al the skilled men, whom I have endowed with skil , to make Aaron's vestments for hisconsecration to my priesthood.	3 Tu parlerai a tutti i saggi di cuore, che ho riempito di spirito di saggezza, e faranno le vesti di Aronne per consacrarlo e perché sia un sacerdote.
4 These are the vestments which they must make: a pectoral, an ephod, a robe, an embroidered tunic, aturban and a belt. They must make sacred vestments for your brother Aaron and his sons, for them to be priestsin my service.	4 Ecco le vesti che faranno: pettorale, efod, mantello, tunica incastonata, turbante e cintura. Faranno vesti sacre per tuo fratello Aronne, e per i suoi figli, perché sia mio sacerdote.
5 They wil use gold and violet material, red-purple and crimson, and finely woven linen.	5 Essi useranno oro, porpora viola, porpora rossa, scarlatto e bisso. L'efod.
6 'They wil make the ephod of finely woven linen embroidered with gold, violet-purple, red-purple andcrimson.	6 Faranno l'efod d'oro, di porpora viola, di porpora rossa, di scarlatto e bisso ritorto, in lavoro artistico.
7 It wil have two shoulder-straps joined to it; it will be joined to them by its two edges.	7 Avrà due spalline attaccate: sarà attaccato alle sue due estremità.
8 The waistband on the ephod to hold it in position must be of the same workmanship and be of a piecewith it: of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	8 La cintura che è sopra all'efod sarà dello stesso suo lavoro: oro, porpora viola, porpora rossa, scarlatto e bisso ritorto.
9 You will then take two cornelians and engrave them with the names of the sons of Israel,	9 Prenderai due pietre d'onice e inciderai su di esse i nomi dei figli d'Israele:

11 By the stone-carver's art -- seal engraving -- you wil engrave the two stones with the names of thesons of Israel. 21 The stones wil correspond to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve like their names, engraved likeseals, each with the name of one of the twelve tribes.	21 Le pietre corrisponderanno ai nomi dei figli d'Israele: dodici, secondo i loro nomi; saranno incise come sigilli, ciascuna con il nome corrispondente, secondo le dodici tribù.
22 For the breastplate you wil make chains of pure gold twisted like cords,	22 Farai sul pettorale catene a cordone, lavoro d'intreccio d'oro puro.
23 and on the breastplate you wil make two gold rings, putting the two rings on the two outside edges ofthe breastplate	23 Farai sul pettorale due anelli d'oro e metterai i due anelli sulle due estremità del pettorale.

30 To the breastplate of judgement you will add the urim and the thummim, and these wil be on Aaron'sheart when he goes into Yahweh's presence, and Aaron will bear the Israelites' judgement on his heart, inYahweh's presence, always.	30 Porrai nel pettorale del giudizio gli urim e i tummim: saranno sopra il cuore di Aronne, quando entrerà davanti al Signore, e Aronne porterà il giudizio dei figli d'Israele sul suo cuore davanti al Signore in perpetuo.
31 'You wil make the robe of the ephod entirely of violet-purple.	31 Farai il mantello dell'efod completamente di porpora viola.
32 In the centre it will have an opening for the head, the opening to have round it a border woven likethe neck of a coat of mail, so that it wil not get torn.	32 Nel suo mezzo ci sarà un'apertura per la testa: intorno all'apertura ci sarà un orlo, lavorato in tessitura; sarà come l'apertura di una corazza, che non si lacera.
33 On its lower hem, you wil make pomegranates of violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, and finelywoven linen al round the hem, with golden bel s between them al round:	33 Farai sul suo lembo melagrane di porpora viola, porpora rossa e scarlatto, intorno al suo lembo, e in mezzo ad esso, all'intorno, campanelli d'oro:

35 Aaron must wear it when he officiates, and the tinkling will be heard when he goes into the sanctuaryinto Yahweh's presence, or leaves it, and so he wil not incur death.	35 Aronne lo userà nell'officiare e il suo rumore si sentirà quando entrerà nel santo, davanti al Signore e quando ne uscirà; così non morirà.
36 'You wil make a flower of pure gold and on it, as you would engrave a seal, you wil engrave,"Consecrated to Yahweh".	36 Farai una lamina d'oro puro e vi inciderai, come su di un sigillo: "Consacrato al Signore".
37 You wil put it on a violet-purple cord; it wil go on the turban; the front of the turban is the place whereit must go.	37 L'attaccherai con un cordone di porpora viola al turbante, sulla parte anteriore.
38 This wil go on Aaron's brow, and Aaron will thus take on himself the short-comings in the holy thingsconsecrated by the Israelites, in all their holy offerings. It wil be on his brow permanently, to make themacceptable to Yahweh.	38 Sarà sulla fronte di Aronne, e Aronne porterà la colpa che potranno commettere i figli d'Israele, in occasione delle offerte sacre da loro presentate. E sarà sulla sua fronte per sempre, in loro favore davanti al Signore.
39 The tunic you wil weave of fine linen, and make a turban of fine linen, and an embroideredwaistband.	39 Tesserai la tunica di bisso; farai un turbante di bisso; farai una cintura, in lavoro di ricamatore.
40 'For the sons of Aaron you will make tunics and waistbands. You wil also make them head-dressesto give dignity and magnificence.	40 Per i figli d'Aronne farai tuniche e cinture, e farai loro anche dei copricapo a gloria e decoro.
41 You wil dress your brother Aaron and his sons in these; you wil then anoint them, invest them andconsecrate them to serve me in the priesthood.	41 Ne rivestirai tuo fratello Aronne insieme ai suoi figli: li ungerai, li investirai, li consacrerai e saranno miei sacerdoti.
42 You wil also make them linen breeches reaching from waist to thigh, to cover their bare flesh.	42 Farai loro dei calzoni di lino per coprire la carne nuda: saranno dai reni alle cosce.
43 Aaron and his sons wil wear these when they go into the Tent of Meeting and when they approachthe altar to serve in the sanctuary, as a precaution against incurring mortal guilt. This is a perpetual decree forAaron and for his descendants after him.'	43 Aronne e i suoi figli li indosseranno quando entreranno nella tenda del convegno e quando si avvicineranno all'altare per officiare nel santo: così non porteranno colpa e non moriranno. Statuto perenne per lui e per i suoi discendenti.
