NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 'From among the Israelites, summon your brother Aaron and his sons to be priests in my service:Aaron and Aaron's sons Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.	1 "Faze vir junto de ti, do meio dos israelitas, teu irmão Aarão com seus filhos para me servirem no ofício sacerdotal: Aarão, Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar, filhos de Aarão.
2 For your brother Aaron you wil make sacred vestments to give dignity and magnificence.	2 Farás para teu irmão Aarão vestes sagradas em sinal de dignidade e de ornato.
3 You will instruct al the skilled men, whom I have endowed with skil , to make Aaron's vestments for hisconsecration to my priesthood.	3 Fala aos homens inteligentes a quem enchi do espírito de sabedoria, para que confeccionem as vestes de Aarão, de sorte que ele seja consagrado ao meu sacerdórcio.
4 These are the vestments which they must make: a pectoral, an ephod, a robe, an embroidered tunic, aturban and a belt. They must make sacred vestments for your brother Aaron and his sons, for them to be priestsin my service.	4 Eis as vestes que deverão fazer: um peitoral, um efod, um manto, uma túnica bordada, um turbante e uma cintura. Tais são as vestes que farão para teu irmão Aarão e para os seus filhos, a fim de que sejam sacerdotes a meu serviço;
5 They wil use gold and violet material, red-purple and crimson, and finely woven linen.	5 empregarão ouro, púrpura violeta e escarlate, carmesim e linho fino.
6 'They wil make the ephod of finely woven linen embroidered with gold, violet-purple, red-purple andcrimson.	6 O efod será feito de ouro, de púrpura violeta e escarlate, de carmesim e de linho fino retorcido, artisticamente tecidos.
7 It wil have two shoulder-straps joined to it; it will be joined to them by its two edges.	7 Nas duas extremidades, haverá duas alças, que o sustentarão.
8 The waistband on the ephod to hold it in position must be of the same workmanship and be of a piecewith it: of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	8 O cinto que se passará sobre o efod para fixá-lo será feito do mesmo trabalho e fará com ele uma só peça: ouro, púrpura violeta e escarlate, carmesim e linho fino retorcido.
9 You will then take two cornelians and engrave them with the names of the sons of Israel,	9 Tomarás duas pedras de ônix e gravarás nelas o nome dos filhos de Israel:
10 six of their names on one stone, the remaining six names on the other, in the order of their birth.	10 seis nomes numa pedra, seis noutra, por ordem de idade.
11 By the stone-carver's art -- seal engraving -- you wil engrave the two stones with the names of thesons of Israel. You will have them mounted in gold settings	11 Os nomes dos filhos de Israel, que gravarás nas duas pedras, serão à maneira de selos gravados por lapidadores; e as duas pedras serão encaixadas em filigranas de ouro.
12 and wil put the two stones on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, to commemorate the sons of Israel.In this way Aaron will bear their names on his two shoulders, before Yahweh, as a reminder.	12 Colocarás essas duas pedras nas alças do efod, em memória dos filhos de Israel, cujos nomes serão levados por Aarão nos seus dois ombros, à guisa de memória diante do Senhor.
13 You wil also make golden rosettes,	13 Farás engastes de ouro
14 and two chains of pure gold twisted like cord, and wil attach the cord-like chains to the rosettes.	14 e duas correntinhas de ouro puro entrelaçadas em forma de cordões, que fixarás nos engastes.
15 'You wil make the breastplate of judgement of the same embroidered work as the ephod; you wilmake it of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	15 Farás um peitoral de julgamento artisticamente trabalhado, do mesmo tecido que o efod: ouro, púrpura violeta e escarlate, carmesim e linho fino retorcido.
16 It must be square and doubled over, a span in length and a span in width.	16 Será quadrado, dobrado em dois, do comprimento de um palmo e de largura de um palmo.
17 In it you wil set four rows of stones: a sard, topaz and emerald for the first row;	17 Guarnecê-lo-ás com quatro fileiras de pedrarias. Primeira fileira: um sárdio, um topázio e uma esmeralda;
18 for the second row, a garnet, sapphire and diamond;	18 Segunda fileira: um rubi, uma safira, um diamante;
19 for the third row, a hyacinth, a ruby and an amethyst;	19 terceira fileira: uma opala, uma ágata e uma ametista;
20 and for the fourth row, a beryl, a cornelian and a jasper. These must be mounted in gold settings.	20 quarta fileira: um crisólito, um ônix e um jaspe. Serão engastadas em uma filigrana de ouro.
21 The stones wil correspond to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve like their names, engraved likeseals, each with the name of one of the twelve tribes.	21 E, correspondendo aos nomes dos filhos de Israel, serão em número de doze, e em cada uma será gravado o nome de uma das doze tribos, à maneira de um sinete.
22 For the breastplate you wil make chains of pure gold twisted like cords,	22 Farás também para o peitoral correntinhas de ouro puro, entrelaçadas em forma de cordões.
23 and on the breastplate you wil make two gold rings, putting the two rings on the two outside edges ofthe breastplate	23 Farás ainda para o peitoral dois anéis de ouro, que fixarás em suas extremidades.
24 and fastening the two gold cords to the two rings on the outside edges of the breastplate.	24 Passarás os dois cordões de ouro nos dois anéis,
25 The other two ends of the cords you wil fasten to the two rosettes, putting these on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, on the front.	25 e prenderás as suas duas pontas nos dois colchetes, metendo-os nas duas alças do efod para o lado da frente.
26 You wil also make two gold rings and put them on the two edges of the breastplate, on the innerside, against the ephod;	26 Farás ainda dois anéis de ouro que fixarás nas duas extremidades do peitoral, na sua orla interior aplicada contra o efod.
27 and you wil make two gold rings and put them low down on the front of the two shoulder-pieces ofthe ephod, close to the join, above the waistband of the ephod.	27 E enfim dois outros anéis de ouro que fixarás na parte dianteira, por baixo das duas alças do efod, à altura da junção, na cintura do efod.
28 The breastplate wil be secured by a violet-purple cord passed through its rings and those of theephod, so that the breastplate wil sit above the waistband and not come apart from the ephod.	28 Prender-se-ão os anéis do peitoral aos do efod por meio de uma fita de púrpura violeta, a fim de que o peitoral se fixe sobre a cintura do efod, e assim não se separe dele.
29 Thus Aaron wil bear the names of the sons of Israel on the breastplate of judgement, on his heart,when he enters the sanctuary, as a reminder, before Yahweh, always.	29 Desse modo, entrando no santuário, Aarão levará sobre o seu coração os nomes dos filhos de Israel gravados sobre o peitoral de julgamento, como memorial perpétuo diante do Senhor.
30 To the breastplate of judgement you will add the urim and the thummim, and these wil be on Aaron'sheart when he goes into Yahweh's presence, and Aaron will bear the Israelites' judgement on his heart, inYahweh's presence, always.	30 No peitoral de julgamento porás o urim e o turim, para que estejam sobre o peito de Aarão quando ele se apresentar diante do Senhor. Assim Aarão levará constantemente sobre o seu coração, diante do Senhor, o julgamento dos israelitas.
31 'You wil make the robe of the ephod entirely of violet-purple.	31 Farás o manto do efod inteiramente de púrpura violeta.
32 In the centre it will have an opening for the head, the opening to have round it a border woven likethe neck of a coat of mail, so that it wil not get torn.	32 Haverá no meio uma abertura para a cabeça, e em volta uma orla tecida, que será como a abertura de um corselete, para que não se rompa.
33 On its lower hem, you wil make pomegranates of violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, and finelywoven linen al round the hem, with golden bel s between them al round:	33 Em volta de toda a orla inferior, porás romãs de púrpura violeta e escarlate, assim como carmesim, entremeadas de campainhas de ouro:
34 a golden bell and then a pomegranate, alternately, al round the lower hem of the robe.	34 uma campainha de ouro, uma romã, outra campainha de ouro, outra romã em todo o contorno da orla inferior do manto.
35 Aaron must wear it when he officiates, and the tinkling will be heard when he goes into the sanctuaryinto Yahweh's presence, or leaves it, and so he wil not incur death.	35 Aarão será revestido desse manto quando exercer suas funções, a fim de se ouvir o som das campainhas quando entrar no santuário, diante do Senhor, e quando sair, e para que não morra.
36 'You wil make a flower of pure gold and on it, as you would engrave a seal, you wil engrave,"Consecrated to Yahweh".	36 Farás uma lâmina de ouro puro na qual gravarás, como num sinete, Santidade a Javé
37 You wil put it on a violet-purple cord; it wil go on the turban; the front of the turban is the place whereit must go.	37 Prendê-la-ás com uma fita de púrpura violeta na frente do turbante.
38 This wil go on Aaron's brow, and Aaron will thus take on himself the short-comings in the holy thingsconsecrated by the Israelites, in all their holy offerings. It wil be on his brow permanently, to make themacceptable to Yahweh.	38 Estará na fronte de Aarão, que levará assim a carga das faltas cometidas pelos israelitas, na ocasião de algumas santas ofertas que possam apresentar: estará continuamente na sua fronte, para que os israelitas sejam aceitos pelo Senhor.
39 The tunic you wil weave of fine linen, and make a turban of fine linen, and an embroideredwaistband.	39 Farás uma túnica de linho, um turbante de linho e uma cintura de bordado.
40 'For the sons of Aaron you will make tunics and waistbands. You wil also make them head-dressesto give dignity and magnificence.	40 Farás túnicas para os filhos de Aarão, cinturas e tiaras, em sinal de dignidade e de ornato.
41 You wil dress your brother Aaron and his sons in these; you wil then anoint them, invest them andconsecrate them to serve me in the priesthood.	41 Revestirás desses ornamentos teu irmão Aarão e seus filhos e os ungirás, os empossarás e os consagrarás, a fim de que sejam sacerdotes a meu serviço.
42 You wil also make them linen breeches reaching from waist to thigh, to cover their bare flesh.	42 Far-lhes-ás também, para cobrir a sua nudez, calções de linho que irão dos rins até as coxas.
43 Aaron and his sons wil wear these when they go into the Tent of Meeting and when they approachthe altar to serve in the sanctuary, as a precaution against incurring mortal guilt. This is a perpetual decree forAaron and for his descendants after him.'	43 Aarão e seus filhos os levarão quando entrarem na tenda de reunião, ou quando se aproximarem do altar para fazer o serviço do santuário, sob pena de incorrerem numa falta mortal. Esta é uma lei perpétua para Aarão e sua posteridade."
