1 'From among the Israelites, summon your brother Aaron and his sons to be priests in my service:Aaron and Aaron's sons Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.	1 Manda acercarse a ti de en medio de los israelitas a tu hermano Aarón, con sus hijos, para que ejerza mi sacerdocio: Aarón, con Nadab y Abihú, Eleazar e Itamar, hijos de Aarón.
2 For your brother Aaron you wil make sacred vestments to give dignity and magnificence.	2 Harás para Aarón, tu hermano, vestiduras sagradas, que le den majestad y esplendor.
3 You will instruct al the skilled men, whom I have endowed with skil , to make Aaron's vestments for hisconsecration to my priesthood.	3 Hablarás tú con todos los artesanos hábiles a quienes he llenado de espíritu de sabiduría; ellos harán las vestiduras de Aarón para que sea consagrado sacerdote mío.
4 These are the vestments which they must make: a pectoral, an ephod, a robe, an embroidered tunic, aturban and a belt. They must make sacred vestments for your brother Aaron and his sons, for them to be priestsin my service.	4 Harán las vestiduras siguientes: un pectoral, un efod, un manto, una túnica bordada, una tiara y una faja. Harán, pues, a tu hermano Aarón y a sus hijos vestiduras sagradas para que ejerzan mi sacerdocio.
5 They wil use gold and violet material, red-purple and crimson, and finely woven linen.	5 Tomarán para ello oro, púrpura violeta y escarlata, carmesí y lino fino.
6 'They wil make the ephod of finely woven linen embroidered with gold, violet-purple, red-purple andcrimson.	6 Bordarán el efod de oro, púrpura violeta y escarlata, carmesí y lino fino torzal.
7 It wil have two shoulder-straps joined to it; it will be joined to them by its two edges.	7 Se le pondrán dos hombreras y se fijará por sus dos extremos.
8 The waistband on the ephod to hold it in position must be of the same workmanship and be of a piecewith it: of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	8 La cinta con que se ciña el efod será de la misma hechura y formará con él una misma pieza: de oro, púrpura violeta y escarlata, carmesí y lino fino torzal.
9 You will then take two cornelians and engrave them with the names of the sons of Israel,	9 Tomarás dos piedras de ónice, sobre las cuales grabarás los nombres de los hijos de Israel:
10 six of their names on one stone, the remaining six names on the other, in the order of their birth.	10 seis de sus nombres en una piedra y los seis restantes en la otra, por orden de nacimiento.
11 By the stone-carver's art -- seal engraving -- you wil engrave the two stones with the names of thesons of Israel. You will have them mounted in gold settings	11 Como se tallan las piedras y se graban los sellos, así harás grabar esas dos piedras con los nombres de los hijos de Israel; las harás engarzar en engastes de oro.
12 and wil put the two stones on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, to commemorate the sons of Israel.In this way Aaron will bear their names on his two shoulders, before Yahweh, as a reminder.	12 Después pondrás las dos piedras sobre las hombreras del efod, como piedras que me hagan recordar a los hijos de Israel, y así llevará Aarón sus nombres sobre sus dos hombros para recuerdo delante de Yahveh.
13 You wil also make golden rosettes,	13 Harás engarces de oro;
14 and two chains of pure gold twisted like cord, and wil attach the cord-like chains to the rosettes.	14 y también dos cadenillas de oro puro; las harás trenzadas a manera de cordones, y fijarás las cadenillas trenzadas en los engarces.
15 'You wil make the breastplate of judgement of the same embroidered work as the ephod; you wilmake it of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	15 Bordarás también el pectoral del juicio; lo harás al estilo de la labor del efod. Lo harás de oro, púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y lino fino torzal.
16 It must be square and doubled over, a span in length and a span in width.	16 Será cuadrado y doble, de un palmo de largo y otro de ancho.
17 In it you wil set four rows of stones: a sard, topaz and emerald for the first row;	17 Lo llenarás de pedrería, poniendo cuatro filas de piedras: en la primera fila, un sardio, un topacio y una esmeralda;
18 for the second row, a garnet, sapphire and diamond;	18 en la segunda fila, un rubí, un zafiro y un diamante;
19 for the third row, a hyacinth, a ruby and an amethyst;	19 en la tercera fila, un ópalo, una ágata y una amatista;
20 and for the fourth row, a beryl, a cornelian and a jasper. These must be mounted in gold settings.	20 en la cuarta fila, un crisólito, un ónice y un jaspe; todas estarán engastadas en oro.
21 The stones wil correspond to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve like their names, engraved likeseals, each with the name of one of the twelve tribes.	21 Las piedras corresponderán a los nombres de los hijos de Israel: doce, como los nombres de ellos. Estarán grabadas como los sellos, cada una con su nombre, conforme a las doce tribus.
22 For the breastplate you wil make chains of pure gold twisted like cords,	22 Para el pectoral harás cadenillas de oro puro, trenzadas a manera de cordones;
23 and on the breastplate you wil make two gold rings, putting the two rings on the two outside edges ofthe breastplate	23 y harás también para el pectoral dos anillas de oro que fijarás en sus dos extremos.
24 and fastening the two gold cords to the two rings on the outside edges of the breastplate.	24 Pasarás los dos cordones de oro por las dos anillas, en los extremos del pectoral;
25 The other two ends of the cords you wil fasten to the two rosettes, putting these on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, on the front.	25 unirás los dos extremos de los dos cordones a los dos engarces, y los fijarás en la parte delantera de las hombreras del efod.
26 You wil also make two gold rings and put them on the two edges of the breastplate, on the innerside, against the ephod;	26 Harás otras dos anillas de oro que pondrás en los dos extremos del pectoral, en el borde interior que mira hacia el efod.
27 and you wil make two gold rings and put them low down on the front of the two shoulder-pieces ofthe ephod, close to the join, above the waistband of the ephod.	27 Harás otras dos anillas de oro y las fijarás en la parte inferior de las dos hombreras del efod, por delante, cerca de su unión encima de la cinta del efod.
28 The breastplate wil be secured by a violet-purple cord passed through its rings and those of theephod, so that the breastplate wil sit above the waistband and not come apart from the ephod.	28 Sujetarán el pectoral por sus anillas a las anillas del efod, con un cordón de púrpura violeta, para que el pectoral quede sobre la cinta del efod y no se desprenda del efod.
29 Thus Aaron wil bear the names of the sons of Israel on the breastplate of judgement, on his heart,when he enters the sanctuary, as a reminder, before Yahweh, always.	29 Así llevará Aarón sobre su corazón los nombres de los hijos de Israel, en el pectoral del juicio, siempre que entre en el Santuario, para recuerdo perpetuo delante de Yahveh.
30 To the breastplate of judgement you will add the urim and the thummim, and these wil be on Aaron'sheart when he goes into Yahweh's presence, and Aaron will bear the Israelites' judgement on his heart, inYahweh's presence, always.	30 En el pectoral del juicio pondrás el Urim y el Tummim, que estarán sobre el corazón de Aarón cuando se presente ante Yahveh. Así llevará Aarón constantemente sobre su corazón, delante de Yahveh, el oráculo de los hijos de Israel.
31 'You wil make the robe of the ephod entirely of violet-purple.	31 Tejerás el manto del efod todo él de púrpura violeta.
32 In the centre it will have an opening for the head, the opening to have round it a border woven likethe neck of a coat of mail, so that it wil not get torn.	32 Habrá en su centro una abertura para la cabeza; esta abertura llevará en derredor una orla, tejida como el cuello de una cota, para que no se rompa.
33 On its lower hem, you wil make pomegranates of violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, and finelywoven linen al round the hem, with golden bel s between them al round:	33 En todo su ruedo inferior harás granadas de púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y lino fino torzal; y entre ellas, también alrededor, pondrás campanillas de oro:
34 a golden bell and then a pomegranate, alternately, al round the lower hem of the robe.	34 una campanilla de oro y una granada; otra campanilla de oro y otra granada; así por todo el ruedo inferior del manto.
35 Aaron must wear it when he officiates, and the tinkling will be heard when he goes into the sanctuaryinto Yahweh's presence, or leaves it, and so he wil not incur death.	35 Aarón lo llevará en su ministerio y se oirá el tintineo cuando entre en el Santuario, ante Yahveh, y cuando salga; así no morirá.
36 'You wil make a flower of pure gold and on it, as you would engrave a seal, you wil engrave,"Consecrated to Yahweh".	36 Harás, además, una lámina de oro puro y en ella grabarás como se graban los sellos: «”Consagrado a Yahveh.»
37 You wil put it on a violet-purple cord; it wil go on the turban; the front of the turban is the place whereit must go.	37 La sujetarás con un cordón de púrpura violeta, de modo que esté fija sobre la tiara; estará en la parte delantera de la tiara.
38 This wil go on Aaron's brow, and Aaron will thus take on himself the short-comings in the holy thingsconsecrated by the Israelites, in all their holy offerings. It wil be on his brow permanently, to make themacceptable to Yahweh.	38 Quedará sobre la frente de Aarón; pues Aarón cargará con las faltas cometidas por los israelitas en las cosas sagradas; es decir, al ofrecer toda clase de santas ofrendas. La tendrá siempre sobre su frente, para que hallen favor delante de Yahveh.
39 The tunic you wil weave of fine linen, and make a turban of fine linen, and an embroideredwaistband.	39 Tejerás la túnica con lino fino; harás también la tiara de lino fino, y la faja con brocado.
40 'For the sons of Aaron you will make tunics and waistbands. You wil also make them head-dressesto give dignity and magnificence.	40 Para los hijos de Aarón harás túnicas. Les harás también fajas y mitras que les den majestad y esplendor.
41 You wil dress your brother Aaron and his sons in these; you wil then anoint them, invest them andconsecrate them to serve me in the priesthood.	41 Vestirás así a tu hermano Aarón y a sus hijos; los ungirás, los investirás y los consagrarás para que ejerzan mi sacerdocio.
42 You wil also make them linen breeches reaching from waist to thigh, to cover their bare flesh.	42 Hazles también calzones de lino, para cubrir su desnudez desde la cintura hasta los muslos.
43 Aaron and his sons wil wear these when they go into the Tent of Meeting and when they approachthe altar to serve in the sanctuary, as a precaution against incurring mortal guilt. This is a perpetual decree forAaron and for his descendants after him.'	43 Aarón y sus hijos los llevarán al entrar en la Tienda del Encuentro, o al acercarse al altar para oficiar en el Santuario, para que no incurran en culpa y mueran. Decreto perpetuo será éste para él y su posteridad.
