1 'From among the Israelites, summon your brother Aaron and his sons to be priests in my service:Aaron and Aaron's sons Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.	1 Oltre a ciò fa' venire a te Aronne tuo fratello co' suoi figliuoli separati dagli altri figliuoli d'Israele, affinché faccian le veci di miei sacerdoti: Aronne, Nadab, e Abiu, Eleazar, e Ithamar.
2 For your brother Aaron you wil make sacred vestments to give dignity and magnificence.	2 E farai le vestimenta sacre pel tuo fratello Aronne per maestà, e ornamento.
3 You will instruct al the skilled men, whom I have endowed with skil , to make Aaron's vestments for hisconsecration to my priesthood.	3 E parlerai a tutti quelli che hanno sapienza in cuore, i quali io ho ripieni di spirito d'intelligenza, perché facciano le vestimenta di Aronne, colle quali santificato eserciti egli il mio sacerdozio.
4 These are the vestments which they must make: a pectoral, an ephod, a robe, an embroidered tunic, aturban and a belt. They must make sacred vestments for your brother Aaron and his sons, for them to be priestsin my service.	4 Or ecco le vestimenta, che quelli faranno: il Razionale, e l'Ephod, la tonaca (jacintina) e la tonaca di lino stretta, la berretta, e la cintura. Queste vestimenta sante faranno ad Aronne tuo fratello, e ai suoi figliuoli, affinché faccian le funzioni del mio sacerdozio.
5 They wil use gold and violet material, red-purple and crimson, and finely woven linen.	5 E prenderanno dell'oro, e del giacinto, e della porpora, e del cocco a due tinte, e del bisso.
6 'They wil make the ephod of finely woven linen embroidered with gold, violet-purple, red-purple andcrimson.	6 E faranno l'Ephod di oro, di giacinto, e di porpora, e di scarlatto a due tinte, e di bisso torto, con lavoro di varii colori.
7 It wil have two shoulder-straps joined to it; it will be joined to them by its two edges.	7 L’(Ephod) avrà alla sommità due aperture, una da un lato, l'altra dall'altro, le quali si richiuderanno.
8 The waistband on the ephod to hold it in position must be of the same workmanship and be of a piecewith it: of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	8 Il tessuto di esso, e tutto il vario lavoro sarà di oro, e di giacinto, e di porpora e di scarlatto a due tinte, e di bisso torto.
9 You will then take two cornelians and engrave them with the names of the sons of Israel,	9 E prenderai due pietre di oniche, e in esse scolpirai i nomi de' figliuoli d'Israele:
10 six of their names on one stone, the remaining six names on the other, in the order of their birth.	10 Sei nomi sopra l'una, e gli altri sei sopra l'altra pietra secondo l'ordine del loro nascere.
11 By the stone-carver's art -- seal engraving -- you wil engrave the two stones with the names of thesons of Israel. You will have them mounted in gold settings	11 In queste (pietre) con l'arte dell'incisore, e del lapidario scolpirai i nomi de' figliuoli d'Israele, e le incastrerai, e le serrerai nell’oro:
12 and wil put the two stones on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, to commemorate the sons of Israel.In this way Aaron will bear their names on his two shoulders, before Yahweh, as a reminder.	12 E le metterai dall'uno e dall'altro lato sull'Ephod in memoria de' figliuoli d'Israele. E Aronne porterà i loro nomi dinanzi al Signore sull'uno e sull'altro omero per ricordanza.
13 You wil also make golden rosettes,	13 Farai ancora gli uncinelli d'oro,
14 and two chains of pure gold twisted like cord, and wil attach the cord-like chains to the rosettes.	14 E due catenelle d'oro finissimo, delle quali gli anelli sieno inseriti l'uno nell'altro, e le quali tu attaccherai agli uncinelli.
15 'You wil make the breastplate of judgement of the same embroidered work as the ephod; you wilmake it of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	15 Farai ancora il Razionale del giudizio di lavoro a più fila, tessuto come l'Ephod d'oro, di giacinto, e di porpora, e di cocco a due tinte, e di bisso torto.
16 It must be square and doubled over, a span in length and a span in width.	16 Ei sarà quadro, e doppio: avrà di misura un palmo tanto in lunghezza, come in larghezza.
17 In it you wil set four rows of stones: a sard, topaz and emerald for the first row;	17 E in esso porrai quattro ordini di pietre: nel primo filare sarà il sardio, il topazio, e lo smeraldo:
18 for the second row, a garnet, sapphire and diamond;	18 Nel secondo il carbonchio, il zaffiro, e il jaspide:
19 for the third row, a hyacinth, a ruby and an amethyst;	19 Nel terzo il ligugio, l'agata e l'ametisto:
20 and for the fourth row, a beryl, a cornelian and a jasper. These must be mounted in gold settings.	20 Nel quarto il crisolito, l'oniche, e il berillo: saranno incastrati nell'oro filare per filare:
21 The stones wil correspond to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve like their names, engraved likeseals, each with the name of one of the twelve tribes.	21 E porteranno i nomi dei figliuoli d'Israele: vi saranno scolpiti dodici nomi, in ciascuna pietra il nome d'una delle dodici tribù.
22 For the breastplate you wil make chains of pure gold twisted like cords,	22 Farai al Razionale le catenelle d'oro purissimo, inseriti gli anelli d'esse l'uno nell'altro:
23 and on the breastplate you wil make two gold rings, putting the two rings on the two outside edges ofthe breastplate	23 E due anelli d'oro, i quali metterai in cima al Razionale dall'una e dall'altra parte:
24 and fastening the two gold cords to the two rings on the outside edges of the breastplate.	24 E farai passare le catenelle d'oro per gli anelli, che saranno alle cime del Razionale.
25 The other two ends of the cords you wil fasten to the two rosettes, putting these on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, on the front.	25 E accomoderai i capi delle catenelle ai due uncinelli dall'uno e dall'altro lato dell'Ephod, che guarda il Razionale.
26 You wil also make two gold rings and put them on the two edges of the breastplate, on the innerside, against the ephod;	26 Farai ancora due anelli d'oro, i quali tu porrai agli angoli del Razionale, agli orli, che son dirimpetto all'Ephod dalla parte di dietro del medesimo.
27 and you wil make two gold rings and put them low down on the front of the two shoulder-pieces ofthe ephod, close to the join, above the waistband of the ephod.	27 E parimente due altri anelli d'oro, i quali debbono mettersi da basso all'uno e all'altro lato dell'Ephod, dove loro corrispondono gli anelli inferiori (del Razionale), affinché questo possa congiungersi coll'Ephod.
28 The breastplate wil be secured by a violet-purple cord passed through its rings and those of theephod, so that the breastplate wil sit above the waistband and not come apart from the ephod.	28 E si serrerà il Razionale pe' suoi anelli cogli anelli dell'Ephod, mediante un legacciolo di giacinto, affinché sieno uniti con arte, e non possano dividersi l'uno dall'altro il Razionale e l'Ephod.
29 Thus Aaron wil bear the names of the sons of Israel on the breastplate of judgement, on his heart,when he enters the sanctuary, as a reminder, before Yahweh, always.	29 E Aronne ogni volta che entrerà nel santuario, porterà i nomi de' fìgliuoli d'Israele nel Razionale del giudizio sopra il suo petto per memoria eterna davanti al Signore.
30 To the breastplate of judgement you will add the urim and the thummim, and these wil be on Aaron'sheart when he goes into Yahweh's presence, and Aaron will bear the Israelites' judgement on his heart, inYahweh's presence, always.	30 E porrai sul Razionale del giudizio Dottrina, e Verità: Aronne le avrà sul petto ogni volta che entrerà alla presenza del Signore: e porterà sempre il giudizio de' figliuoli d'Israele sul suo petto al cospetto del Signore.
31 'You wil make the robe of the ephod entirely of violet-purple.	31 Farai ancora la veste dell'Ephod tutta di giacinto,
32 In the centre it will have an opening for the head, the opening to have round it a border woven likethe neck of a coat of mail, so that it wil not get torn.	32 In cima alla quale vi sarà un'apertura per la testa, e intorno ad essa un'orlatura tessuta, simile a quella che suole farsi nell'infime parti delle vesti, affinché non si rompa facilmente.
33 On its lower hem, you wil make pomegranates of violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, and finelywoven linen al round the hem, with golden bel s between them al round:	33 Da basso poi nell'infima parte della stessa veste farai intorno come delle melagrane di iacinto, e di porpora, e di cocco a due tinte, frapponendovi in mezzo de' sonagli.
34 a golden bell and then a pomegranate, alternately, al round the lower hem of the robe.	34 Talmente che vi sarà un sonaglio d'oro, e poi una melagrana, e quindi un altro sonaglio d'oro, e poi una melagrana.
35 Aaron must wear it when he officiates, and the tinkling will be heard when he goes into the sanctuaryinto Yahweh's presence, or leaves it, and so he wil not incur death.	35 E Aronne la vestirà in facendo l'uffizio del suo ministero, affinché si senta il suono, quand'egli entra nel santuario al cospetto di Dio, e ne esce, e affinché egli non muoja.
36 'You wil make a flower of pure gold and on it, as you would engrave a seal, you wil engrave,"Consecrated to Yahweh".	36 Farai ancora una lamina di finissimo oro, nella quale farai incidere a bulino: La Santità al Signore.
37 You wil put it on a violet-purple cord; it wil go on the turban; the front of the turban is the place whereit must go.	37 E la legherai con un nastro di jacinto, ed essa starà sopra la tiara,
38 This wil go on Aaron's brow, and Aaron will thus take on himself the short-comings in the holy thingsconsecrated by the Israelites, in all their holy offerings. It wil be on his brow permanently, to make themacceptable to Yahweh.	38 Pendendo sulla fronte del pontefice. E Aronne porterà le iniquità commesse dai figliuoli d'Israele nelle obblazioni tutte, e nei doni, che eglino avranno offerti, e consacrati. Questa lamina sarà sempre sulla fronte di lui, affinché sia placato con essi il Signore.
39 The tunic you wil weave of fine linen, and make a turban of fine linen, and an embroideredwaistband.	39 E farai la tonaca stretta di bisso, e la tiara di bisso, e la cintura lavorata a varii colori.
40 'For the sons of Aaron you will make tunics and waistbands. You wil also make them head-dressesto give dignity and magnificence.	40 Pe' figliuoli poi d'Aronne preparerai tonache di lino, e le cinture, e le tiare per maestà, e ornamento.
41 You wil dress your brother Aaron and his sons in these; you wil then anoint them, invest them andconsecrate them to serve me in the priesthood.	41 E tutte queste vestimenta metterai ad Aronne tuo fratello, e insieme a' suoi figliuoli. E consacrerai le mani di tutti loro, e li santificherai, affinché esercitino il mio sacerdozio.
42 You wil also make them linen breeches reaching from waist to thigh, to cover their bare flesh.	42 Farai ancora le brache di lino, le quali copriranno la indecente nudità da' lombi fino a tutta la coscia:
43 Aaron and his sons wil wear these when they go into the Tent of Meeting and when they approachthe altar to serve in the sanctuary, as a precaution against incurring mortal guilt. This is a perpetual decree forAaron and for his descendants after him.'	43 E di esse faranno uso Aronne, e i suoi figliuoli, quando entreranno nel tabernacolo della testimonianza, o quando si accosteranno all'altare per servire nel santuario, affinché come rei di trasgressione non muoiano. Ciò sarà legge sempiterna per Aronne, e pe' suoi discendenti dopo di lui.
