Exodus 28

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 'From among the Israelites, summon your brother Aaron and his sons to be priests in my service:Aaron and Aaron's sons Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.	1 وقرّب اليك هرون اخاك وبنيه معه من بين بني اسرائيل ليكهن لي. هرون ناداب وابيهو العازار وايثامار بني هرون.
2 For your brother Aaron you wil make sacred vestments to give dignity and magnificence.	2 واصنع ثيابا مقدسة لهرون اخيك للمجد والبهاء.
3 You will instruct al the skilled men, whom I have endowed with skil , to make Aaron's vestments for hisconsecration to my priesthood.	3 وتكلم جميع حكماء القلوب الذين ملأتهم روح حكمة ان يصنعوا ثياب هرون لتقديسه ليكهن لي.
4 These are the vestments which they must make: a pectoral, an ephod, a robe, an embroidered tunic, aturban and a belt. They must make sacred vestments for your brother Aaron and his sons, for them to be priestsin my service.	4 وهذه هي الثياب التي يصنعونها صدرة ورداء وجبّة وقميص مخرّم وعمامة ومنطقة. فيصنعون ثيابا مقدسة لهرون اخيك ولبنيه ليكهن لي.
5 They wil use gold and violet material, red-purple and crimson, and finely woven linen.	5 وهم ياخذون الذهب والاسمانجوني والارجوان والقرمز والبوص
6 'They wil make the ephod of finely woven linen embroidered with gold, violet-purple, red-purple andcrimson.	6 فيصنعون الرداء من ذهب واسمانجوني وارجوان وقرمز وبوص مبروم صنعة حائك حاذق.
7 It wil have two shoulder-straps joined to it; it will be joined to them by its two edges.	7 يكون له كتفان موصولان في طرفيه ليتّصل.
8 The waistband on the ephod to hold it in position must be of the same workmanship and be of a piecewith it: of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	8 وزنار شدّه الذي عليه يكون منه كصنعته. من ذهب واسمانجوني وقرمز وبوص مبروم.
9 You will then take two cornelians and engrave them with the names of the sons of Israel,	9 وتاخذ حجري جزع وتنقش عليهما اسماء بني اسرائيل.
10 six of their names on one stone, the remaining six names on the other, in the order of their birth.	10 ستة من اسمائهم على الحجر الواحد واسماء الستة الباقين على الحجر الثاني حسب مواليدهم.
11 By the stone-carver's art -- seal engraving -- you wil engrave the two stones with the names of thesons of Israel. You will have them mounted in gold settings	11 صنعة نقّاش الحجارة نقش الخاتم تنقش الحجرين على حسب اسماء بني اسرائيل. محاطين بطوقين من ذهب تصنعهما.
12 and wil put the two stones on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, to commemorate the sons of Israel.In this way Aaron will bear their names on his two shoulders, before Yahweh, as a reminder.	12 وتضع الحجرين على كتفي الرداء حجري تذكار لبني اسرائيل. فيحمل هرون اسماءهم امام الرب على كتفيه للتذكار.
13 You wil also make golden rosettes,	13 وتصنع طوقين من ذهب.
14 and two chains of pure gold twisted like cord, and wil attach the cord-like chains to the rosettes.	14 وسلسلتين من ذهب نقي. مجدولتين تصنعهما صنعة الضفر. وتجعل سلسلتي الضفائر في الطوقين.
15 'You wil make the breastplate of judgement of the same embroidered work as the ephod; you wilmake it of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	15 وتصنع صدرة قضاء. صنعة حائك حاذق كصنعة الرداء تصنعها. من ذهب واسمانجوني وارجوان وقرمز وبوص مبروم تصنعها.
16 It must be square and doubled over, a span in length and a span in width.	16 تكون مربعة مثنية طولها شبر وعرضها شبر.
17 In it you wil set four rows of stones: a sard, topaz and emerald for the first row;	17 وترصع فيها ترصيع حجر اربعة صفوف حجارة. صف عقيق احمر وياقوت اصفر وزمرّد. الصف الاول.
18 for the second row, a garnet, sapphire and diamond;	18 والصف الثاني بهرمان وياقوت ازرق وعقيق ابيض
19 for the third row, a hyacinth, a ruby and an amethyst;	19 والصف الثالث عين الهر ويشم وجمشت.
20 and for the fourth row, a beryl, a cornelian and a jasper. These must be mounted in gold settings.	20 والصف الرابع زبرجد وجزع ويشب. تكون مطوّقة بذهب في ترصيعها.
21 The stones wil correspond to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve like their names, engraved likeseals, each with the name of one of the twelve tribes.	21 وتكون الحجارة على اسماء بني اسرائيل اثني عشر على اسمائهم. كنقش الخاتم كل واحد على اسمه تكون للاثني عشر سبطا
22 For the breastplate you wil make chains of pure gold twisted like cords,	22 وتصنع على الصدرة سلاسل مجدولة صنعة الضفر من ذهب نقي.
23 and on the breastplate you wil make two gold rings, putting the two rings on the two outside edges ofthe breastplate	23 وتصنع على الصدرة حلقتين من ذهب. وتجعل الحلقتين على طرفي الصدرة.
24 and fastening the two gold cords to the two rings on the outside edges of the breastplate.	24 وتجعل ضفيرتي الذهب في الحلقتين على طرفي الصدرة.
25 The other two ends of the cords you wil fasten to the two rosettes, putting these on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, on the front.	25 وتجعل طرفي الضفيرتين الآخرين في الطوقين. وتجعلها على كتفي الرداء الى قدامه.
26 You wil also make two gold rings and put them on the two edges of the breastplate, on the innerside, against the ephod;	26 وتصنع حلقتين من ذهب وتضعهما على طرفي الصدرة على حاشيتها التي الى جهة الرداء من داخل.
27 and you wil make two gold rings and put them low down on the front of the two shoulder-pieces ofthe ephod, close to the join, above the waistband of the ephod.	27 وتصنع حلقتين من ذهب. وتجعلها على كتفي الرداء من اسفل من قدامه عند وصله من فوق زنار الرداء.
28 The breastplate wil be secured by a violet-purple cord passed through its rings and those of theephod, so that the breastplate wil sit above the waistband and not come apart from the ephod.	28 ويربطون الصدرة بحلقتيها الى حلقتي الرداء بخيط من اسمانجوني لتكون على زنار الرداء. ولا تنزع الصدرة عن الرداء.
29 Thus Aaron wil bear the names of the sons of Israel on the breastplate of judgement, on his heart,when he enters the sanctuary, as a reminder, before Yahweh, always.	29 فيحمل هرون اسماء بني اسرائيل في صدرة القضاء على قلبه عند دخوله الى القدس للتذكار امام الرب دائما.
30 To the breastplate of judgement you will add the urim and the thummim, and these wil be on Aaron'sheart when he goes into Yahweh's presence, and Aaron will bear the Israelites' judgement on his heart, inYahweh's presence, always.	30 وتجعل في صدرة القضاء الأوريم والتمّيم لتكون على قلب هرون عند دخوله امام الرب. فيحمل هرون قضاء بني اسرائيل على قلبه امام الرب دائما
31 'You wil make the robe of the ephod entirely of violet-purple.	31 وتصنع جبة الرداء كلها من اسمانجوني.
32 In the centre it will have an opening for the head, the opening to have round it a border woven likethe neck of a coat of mail, so that it wil not get torn.	32 وتكون فتحة راسها في وسطها. ويكون لفتحتها حاشية حواليها صنعة الحائك. كفتحة الدرع يكون لها. لا تشق.
33 On its lower hem, you wil make pomegranates of violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, and finelywoven linen al round the hem, with golden bel s between them al round:	33 وتصنع على اذيالها رمانات من اسمانجوني وارجوان وقرمز. على اذيالها حواليها. وجلاجل من ذهب بينها حواليها.
34 a golden bell and then a pomegranate, alternately, al round the lower hem of the robe.	34 جلجل ذهب ورمانة جلجل ذهب ورمانة على اذيال الجبة حواليها.
35 Aaron must wear it when he officiates, and the tinkling will be heard when he goes into the sanctuaryinto Yahweh's presence, or leaves it, and so he wil not incur death.	35 فتكون على هرون للخدمة ليسمع صوتها عند دخوله الى القدس امام الرب وعند خروجه لئلا يموت
36 'You wil make a flower of pure gold and on it, as you would engrave a seal, you wil engrave,"Consecrated to Yahweh".	36 وتصنع صفيحة من ذهب نقي. وتنقش عليها نقش خاتم قدس للرب.
37 You wil put it on a violet-purple cord; it wil go on the turban; the front of the turban is the place whereit must go.	37 وتضعها على خيط اسمانجوني لتكون على العمامة. الى قدام العمامة تكون.
38 This wil go on Aaron's brow, and Aaron will thus take on himself the short-comings in the holy thingsconsecrated by the Israelites, in all their holy offerings. It wil be on his brow permanently, to make themacceptable to Yahweh.	38 فتكون على جبهة هرون. فيحمل هرون اثم الاقداس التي يقدسها بنو اسرائيل جميع عطايا اقداسهم وتكون على جبهته دائما للرضى عنهم امام الرب.
39 The tunic you wil weave of fine linen, and make a turban of fine linen, and an embroideredwaistband.	39 وتخرم القميص من بوص. وتصنع العمامة من بوص. والمنطقة تصنعها صنعة الطراز
40 'For the sons of Aaron you will make tunics and waistbands. You wil also make them head-dressesto give dignity and magnificence.	40 ولبني هرون تصنع اقمصة وتصنع لهم مناطق وتصنع لهم قلانس للمجد والبهاء.
41 You wil dress your brother Aaron and his sons in these; you wil then anoint them, invest them andconsecrate them to serve me in the priesthood.	41 وتلبس هرون اخاك اياها وبنيه معه وتمسحهم وتملأ اياديهم وتقدسهم ليكهنوا لي.
42 You wil also make them linen breeches reaching from waist to thigh, to cover their bare flesh.	42 وتصنع لهم سراويل من كتان لستر العورة. من الحقوين الى الفخذين تكون.
43 Aaron and his sons wil wear these when they go into the Tent of Meeting and when they approachthe altar to serve in the sanctuary, as a precaution against incurring mortal guilt. This is a perpetual decree forAaron and for his descendants after him.'	43 فتكون على هرون وبنيه عند دخولهم الى خيمة الاجتماع او عند اقترابهم الى المذبح للخدمة في القدس. لئلا يحملوا اثما ويموتوا. فريضة ابدية له ولنسله من بعده
