1 How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!	1 (Per la fine. Ai figli di Core. Salmo)
2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.	2 O Signore, tu sei stato propizio alla tua terra, hai liberato dalla schiavitù Giacobbe.
3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.	3 Hai perdonata l'iniquità al tuo popolo, hai ricoperti tutti i loro peccati.
4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.	4 Hai deposta tutta la tua ira, bai sedato l'ardore del tuo sdegno.
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.	5 Convertici, o Dio nostro salvatore, e allontana l'ira tua da noi.
6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.	6 Vuoi esser adirato con noi in eterno? O prolungare l'ira tua di generazione in generazione?
7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.	7 O Dio, volgiti a noi e donaci la vita, e il tuo popolo in te s'allieterà.
8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.	8 Mostraci, o Signore, la tua misericordia e donaci il tuo Salvatore.
9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.	9 Voglio sentire quel che dice dentro di me il Signore Dio! Certo Egli parlerà di pace al suo no­polo, per i suoi santi e per chi di cuore torna a lui
10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.	10 Sì, la sua salute è vicina a quelli che lo temono, e la gloria abiterà sulla nostra terra.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.	11 La bontà e la verità si sono andate incontro, la giustizia e la pace si sono baciate.
12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.	12 La verità è spuntata dalla terra o la giustizia ha guardato dal cielo.
	13 Sì. il Signore si mostrerà benigno e la nostra terra darà il suo frutto.
	14 La giustizia camminerà dinanzi a lui e lascerà nella via le sue impronte.
