1 How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!	1 - Al corifeo. Salmo dei figliuoli di Core.
2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.	2 Hai benedetto, o Signore, la tua terra, hai tolto via la schiavitù di Giacobbe.
3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.	3 Hai rimesso l'iniquità del tuo popolo, hai ricoperto tutti i loro peccati.
4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.	4 Hai calmato ogni tua ira, ti sei rimosso dal furor del tuo sdegno.
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.	5 Rialzaci, o Dio della nostra salvezza, e allontana l'ira tua da noi.
6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.	6 Sarai tu adirato con noi in eterno? prolungherai l'ira tua di generazione in generazione?
7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.	7 [No], o Dio, [ma] tornerai a vivificarci, e il tuo popolo s'allieterà in te.
8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.	8 Mostraci, o Signore, la tua clemenza, e la tua salvezza concedi a noi.
9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.	9 Ascolterò ciò che parla in me il Signore Iddio: perchè parla di pace al suo popolo e ai suoi santi e a coloro che rientrano in se stessi.
10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.	10 Per certo è vicina a quei che lo temono la sua salvezza. Sicchè abiti [di nuovo] la gloria [di Dio] nella nostra terra.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.	11 La clemenza e la fedeltà si vanno incontro, la giustizia e la pace si baciano.
12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.	12 La fedeltà spunta su dalla terra, e la giustizia guarda giù dal cielo.
	13 Sì, il Signore largirà la bontàe la terra nostra produrrà il suo frutto.
	14 La giustizia davanti a lui camminerà, e guiderà per la via i suoi passi.
