1 Tu autem loquere quæ decent sanam doctrinam :	1 ואתה דבר את הנאה ללקח הבריא
2 senes ut sobrii sint, pudici, prudentes, sani in fide, in dilectione, in patientia :	2 שיהיו הזקנים משלים ברוחם ומכבדים וצנועים ובריאים באמונה ובאהבה ובסבלנות
3 anus similiter in habitu sancto, non criminatrices, non multo vino servientes, bene docentes :	3 וכן הזקנות תהי הנהגתן כאשר נאוה לקדש לא תהיינה מלשינות ולא נכבשות לסבוא יין כי אם מלמדות טוב
4 ut prudentiam doceant adolescentulas, ut viros suos ament, filios suos diligant,	4 ומישרות את הצעירות לאהב את בעליהן ולאהב את בניהן
5 prudentes, castas, sobrias, domus curam habentes, benignas, subditas viris suis, ut non blasphemetur verbum Dei.	5 ולהיות צנועות וטהרות צופיות הליכות ביתן וטבות ונכנעות לבעליהן למען לא יחלל דבר האלהים
6 Juvenes similiter hortare ut sobrii sint.	6 ככה תזהיר גם את הבחורים שיהיו צנועים
7 In omnibus teipsum præbe exemplum bonorum operum, in doctrina, in integritate, in gravitate,	7 ובכל דבר היה אתה למופת במעשים טובים בהוראה צרופה ונהדרה
8 verbum sanum, irreprehensibile : ut is qui ex adverso est, vereatur, nihil habens malum dicere de nobis.	8 ובדבר בריא ומום אין בו למען יבוש המתקומם ולא ימצא לדבר עליכם רע
9 Servos dominis suis subditos esse, in omnibus placentes, non contradicentes,	9 העבדים יכנעו לאדניהם ויתרצו להם בכל דבר ולא ימרו את דבריהם
10 non fraudantes, sed in omnibus fidem bonam ostendentes : ut doctrinam Salvatoris nostri Dei ornent in omnibus.	10 ולא ימעלו מעל כי אם יראו כל אמונה טובה למען יפארו בכל את לקח אלהינו מושיענו
11 Apparuit enim gratia Dei Salvatoris nostri omnibus hominibus,	11 כי הופיע חסד אלהים להושיע את כל בני האדם
12 erudiens nos, ut abnegantes impietatem, et sæcularia desideria, sobrie, et juste, et pie vivamus in hoc sæculo,	12 וליסר אתנו אשר נתעב הרשע ותאות העולם ונחיה בעולם הזה בצניעות ובצדק ובחסידות
13 exspectantes beatam spem, et adventum gloriæ magni Dei, et Salvatoris nostri Jesu Christi :	13 ונחכה לתקוה המאשרת ולהופעת כבוד אלהינו הגדול ומושיענו ישוע המשיח
14 qui dedit semetipsum pro nobis, ut nos redimeret ab omni iniquitate, et mundaret sibi populum acceptabilem, sectatorem bonorum operum.	14 אשר נתן את נפשו בעדנו לגאלנו מכל עול ולטהר לו עם סגלה הזריז במעשים טובים
15 Hæc loquere, et exhortare, et argue cum omni imperio. Nemo te contemnat.	15 את אלה תדבר ותזהיר ותוכיח בכל חזקה ואיש אל יבוז לך
