1 Dávid imádsága. Hajtsd hozzám, Uram, füledet, hallgass meg, mert nyomorult és szegény vagyok.	1 [Prayer Of David] Listen to me, Yahweh, answer me, for I am poor and needy.
2 Őrizd meg életem, mert kedves vagyok előtted; Mentsd meg, Istenem, szolgádat, aki benned bízik.	2 Guard me, for I am faithful, save your servant who relies on you. You are my God,
3 Könyörülj rajtam, Uram, mert hozzád kiáltok egész nap!	3 take pity on me, Lord, for to you I cry al the day.
4 Örvendeztesd meg szolgádat, mert hozzád emelem, Uram, lelkemet.	4 Fil your servant's heart with joy, Lord, for to you I raise up my heart.
5 Mert te, Uram, jóságos vagy és szelíd, nagy irgalmú mindazokhoz, akik téged segítségül hívnak.	5 Lord, you are kind and forgiving, rich in faithful love for al who cal upon you.
6 Figyelj, Uram, imádságomra, hallgass könyörgésem szavára!	6 Yahweh, hear my prayer, listen to the sound of my pleading.
7 Hozzád kiáltok szorongatásom idején, mert te meghallgatsz engem.	7 In my day of distress I cal upon you, because you answer me, Lord;
8 Uram, nincs az istenek közt tehozzád hasonló, semmi sem fogható a te műveidhez.	8 among the gods there is none to compare with you, no great deeds to compare with yours.
9 A nemzetek, amelyeket alkottál, mindnyájan eljönnek, leborulnak előtted, Uram és dicsőítik nevedet,	9 Al nations wil come and adore you, Lord, and give glory to your name.
10 mert nagy vagy te és csodákat művelsz: egyedül te vagy Isten.	10 For you are great and do marvel ous deeds, you, God, and none other.
11 Uram, vezess engem utadon, hogy igazságodban járjak; Szívemet tedd egyszerűvé, hogy félje nevedet.	11 Teach me, Yahweh, your ways, that I may not stray from your loyalty; let my heart's one aim be tofear your name.
12 Teljes szívemből dicsérlek, Uram, én Istenem, és mindörökké magasztalom nevedet,	12 I thank you with al my heart, Lord my God, I wil glorify your name for ever,
13 mert nagy a te irgalmad irántam, kiragadtad lelkemet az alvilág mélyéből.	13 for your faithful love for me is so great that you have rescued me from the depths of Sheol.
14 Isten, gonoszok keltek fel ellenem és erőszakosak serege tör életemre, és nem vesznek figyelembe téged.	14 Arrogant men, God, are rising up against me, a brutal gang is after my life, in their scheme of thingsyou have no place.
15 De te, Uram, könyörületes és irgalmas Isten vagy, türelmes, nagy irgalmú és igaz.	15 But you, Lord, God of tenderness and mercy, slow to anger, rich in faithful love and loyalty,
16 Tekints rám, könyörülj rajtam, add szolgádnak erődet, szabadítsd meg szolgálód fiát.	16 turn to me and pity me. Give to your servant your strength, to the child of your servant your savinghelp,
17 Add jelét rajtam jóságodnak, hogy gyűlölőim lássák, és szégyent valljanak, minthogy te, Uram, megsegítesz és megvigasztalsz engem.	17 give me a sign of your kindness.
	18 My enemies wil see to their shame that you, Yahweh, help and console me.
