Osea 9

BIBBIA CEI 1974	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Non darti alla gioia, Israele, non far festa con gli altri popoli, perché hai praticato la prostituzione, abbandonando il tuo Dio, hai amato il prezzo della prostituzione su tutte le aie da grano.	1 No merrymaking, Israel, for you, no rejoicing like other peoples, for you have deserted your God to playthe whore, you have loved the fee of prostitution on every threshing-floor.
2 L'aia e il tino non li nutriranno e il vino nuovo verrà loro a mancare.	2 The threshing-floor and wine-press will not feed them; they will be disappointed of new wine.
3 Non potranno restare nella terra del Signore, ma Èfraim ritornerà in Egitto e in Assiria mangeranno cibi immondi.	3 No more wil they live in Yahweh's country; Ephraim will have to go back to Egypt, and eat polluted foodin Assyria.
4 Non faranno più libazioni di vino al Signore, i loro sacrifici non gli saranno graditi. Pane di lutto sarà il loro pane, coloro che ne mangiano diventano immondi. Il loro pane sarà tutto per loro, ma non entrerà nella casa del Signore.	4 No more wil they pour libations of wine to Yahweh, and their sacrifices will not win his favour but will belike funeral fare for them: whoever eats them wil be pol uted; for their food wil be for themselves alone, notbeing offered in Yahweh's home.
5 Che farete nei giorni delle solennità, nei giorni della festa del Signore?	5 What wil you do on the solemn feast-day, on the day of Yahweh's festival?
6 Ecco sono sfuggiti alla rovina, l'Egitto li accoglierà, Menfi sarà la loro tomba. I loro tesori d'argento passeranno alle ortiche e nelle loro tende cresceranno i pruni.	6 What a scene of devastastion they have left! Egypt wil round them up, Memphis will bury them, nettleswil inherit their fields and thorn-bushes invade their homesteads.
7 Sono venuti i giorni del castigo, sono giunti i giorni del rendiconto, - Israele lo sappia: un pazzo è il profeta, l'uomo ispirato vaneggia - a causa delle tue molte iniquità, per la gravità del tuo affronto.	7 The days of punishment have come, the days of retribution are here; Israel knows it! 'The prophet ismad and the inspired man a fool!' Great has been your guilt- al the greater then the hostility!
8 Sentinella di Èfraim è il profeta con il suo Dio; ma un laccio gli è teso su tutti i sentieri, ostilità fin nella casa del suo Dio.	8 The watchman of Ephraim is with my God: it is the prophet- and a fowler's trap is placed on al hispaths; and in the shrine of his God there is enmity towards him.
9 Sono corrotti fino in fondo, come ai giorni di Gàbaa: ma egli si ricorderà della loro iniquità, farà il conto dei loro peccati.	9 They have become deeply corrupt as in the days of Gibeah; he will remember their guilt, he wil punishtheir sins.
10 Trovai Israele come uva nel deserto, riguardai i vostri padri come fichi primaticci al loro inizio; ma essi appena arrivati a Baal-Peòr si consacrarono a quell'infamia e divennero abominevoli come ciò che essi amavano.	10 It was like finding grapes in the desert when I found Israel, like seeing early fruit on a fig tree when Isaw your ancestors; but when they reached Baal-Peor they devoted themselves to Shame and became asloathsome as the thing they loved.
11 La gloria di Èfraim volerà via come un uccello, non più nascite, né gravidanze, né concepimenti.	11 The glory of Ephraim wil fly away like a bird: no giving birth, no pregnancy, no conceiving.
12 Anche se allevano figli,io li eliminerò dagli uomini; guai a loro, se io li abbandono.	12 If they rear their children, I shal take them away before they grow up! Woe to them indeed when Ileave them!
13 Èfraim, lo vedo, ha fatto dei figli una preda su luoghi verdeggianti. Èfraim tuttavia condurrà i figli al macello.	13 Ephraim looked to me like Tyre, planted in a meadow, so Ephraim will present his children to theslaughterer.
14 Signore, da' loro... Che darai? Un grembo infecondo e un seno arido!	14 Give them, Yahweh- what are you to give? - give them wombs that miscarry and dried-up breasts.
15 Tutta la loro malizia s'è manifestata a Gàlgala, è là che ho preso a odiarli. Per i loro misfatti li scaccerò dalla mia casa, non avrò più amore per loro; tutti i loro capi sono ribelli.	15 Their wickedness appeared in ful at Gilgal, there I came to hate them. Because of the wickedness oftheir deeds I shall drive them from my home, I shal love them no longer; all their princes are rebels.
16 Èfraim è stato percosso, la loro radice è inaridita, non daranno più frutto. Anche se generano, farò perire i cari frutti del loro grembo.	16 Ephraim is blasted, their root has dried out, they wil bear no more fruit. And even if they do bearchildren I shal slaughter the darlings of their womb.
17 Il mio Dio li rigetterà perché non gli hanno obbedito; andranno raminghi fra le nazioni.	17 Because they have not listened to him, my God wil cast them off and they wil become wanderersamong the nations.
