1 Godine dvadeset i pete za našega izgnanstva, početkom godine, prvoga mjeseca, desetoga dana, a četrnaest godina otkako pade Grad, upravo onoga dana spusti se na me ruka Jahvina.	1 In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month,fourteen years to the day from the capture of the city, the hand of Yahweh was on me. He carried me away:
2 I odvede me u božanskom viđenju u zemlju Izraelovu te me postavi na veoma visoku goru: Na njoj, s južne strane, bijaše nešto kao sazidan grad.	2 in divine visions, he carried me away to the land of Israel and put me down on a very high mountain,on the south of which there seemed to be built a city.
3 Povede me onamo, i gle: čovjek, sjajan kao mjed, stajaše na vratima, s lanenim užetom i mjeračkom trskom u ruci.	3 He took me to it, and there I saw a man, whose appearance was like brass. He had a flax cord and ameasuring rod in his hand and was standing in the gateway.
4 I taj mi čovjek reče: »Sine čovječji, gledaj svojim očima i slušaj svojim ušima, popamti sve što ću ti pokazati, jer si doveden ovamo da ti pokažem. Objavi domu Izraelovu sve što ovdje vidiš.«	4 The man said to me, 'Son of man, look careful y, listen closely and pay attention to everything I showyou, since you have been brought here only for me to show it to you. Tel the House of Israel everything that yousee.'
5 I gle, zdanje sve uokolo opasano zidom. Čovjek držaše u ruci mjeračku trsku od šest lakata, a svaki lakat bijaše za jedan dlan duži od običnoga lakta. On izmjeri zdanje. Širina: jedna trska, visina: jedna trska.	5 Now, the Temple was surrounded on all sides by an outer wall. The man was holding a measuring rodsix cubits long, each cubit a forearm and a handsbreadth. He measured the thickness of this construction -- onerod; and its height -- one rod.
6 Zatim pođe k vratima što bijahu okrenuta k istoku. Uspe se uza stepenice i izmjeri prag vrata. Širina: jedna trska.	6 He went to the east gate, climbed the steps and measured its threshold: one rod deep.
7 A svaka klijet jednu trsku dugačka i jednu trsku široka. Između klijeti: pet lakata. Prag vrata sa strane njihova trijema, iznutra, jedna trska.	7 Each guardroom one rod by one rod; and the piers between the guardrooms five cubits thick, and thethreshold of the gate inwards from the porch of the gate: one rod.
8 Izmjeri trijem vrata iznutra: bijaše osam lakata širok,	8
9 a njegovi polustupovi dva lakta. Trijem vrata bijaše s nutarnje strane.	9 He measured the porch of the gate: eight cubits; its piers: two cubits; the porch of the gate was at theinner end.
10 Na svakoj strani istočnih vrata bijahu po tri klijeti. I sve tri bijahu iste mjere. Tako i polustupovi: s obje strane bijahu iste mjere.	10 There were three guardrooms on each side of the east gate, al three of the same size; the piersbetween them al of the same thickness each side.
11 Zatim izmjeri vrata: bijahu deset lakata široka i trinaest lakata visoka.	11 He measured the width of the entrance: ten cubits; and the width al down the gateway: thirteencubits.
12 Pred klijetima bijaše s jedne i s druge strane ograda od jednog lakta. Svaka klijet: šest lakata s jedne i šest lakata s druge strane.	12 There was a rail in front of the guardrooms; each rail on either side was one cubit. And theguardrooms on either side were six cubits square.
13 A zatim izmjeri vrata od stražnje strane jedne klijeti do stražnje strane nasuprotne klijeti, u širinu: bijaše dvadeset i pet lakata; otvor pred otvorom.	13 He measured the width of the gate from the back wal of one guardroom to the back wall of the other;it was twenty-five cubits across, the openings being opposite each other.
14 Izmjeri i trijem: dvadeset lakata. Predvorje bijaše sve uokolo trijema vrata.	14 He measured the porch: twenty cubits; the court surrounded the gate on al sides.
15 Od ulaznog pročelja vrata do nasuprotne strane njihova trijema bijaše pedeset lakata.	15 From the front of the entrance gate, to the far end of the porch of the inner gate: fifty cubits.
16 Na klijetima i njihovim dovracima, s unutrašnje strane sve uokolo, a tako i u trijemu, bijahu prozori s rešetkama. Takvi su prozori bili iznutra, sve naokolo, a na polustupovima palme.	16 Al round inside the gate there were trel ised windows in the guardrooms and in their piers; similarly,in the porch there were windows all round and palm trees on the piers.
17 Zatim me povede u vanjsko predvorje Doma. I gle, sve oko predvorja prostorije i pločnik. Trideset prostorija na pločniku.	17 He then took me to the outer court, which had rooms and a paved terrace going all the way round;there were thirty rooms on this terrace.
18 Pločnik bijaše sa svake strane vrata i odgovaraše razini vrata. To je donji pločnik.	18 This terrace, which came up to the sides of the gates and matched their depth, was the LowerTerrace. He measured the width of the court,
19 On izmjeri širinu predvorja od donjih vrata do unutrašnjega predvorja, s vanjske strane: sto lakata na istok i na sjever.	19 from the front of the lower gate to the fac ade of the inner court, outside: a hundred cubits (on theeast and on the north).
20 Sjevernim vratima vanjskoga predvorja izmjeri širinu i dužinu.	20 He measured the length and breadth of the north gate of the outer court.
21 I ta su imala po tri klijeti sa svake strane, a stupovi im i trijemovi istih mjera kao u prvih vrata: pedeset lakata u dužinu i dvadeset i pet lakata u širinu.	21 It had three guardrooms on each side; its piers and porch were of the same size as those of the firstgate: fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
22 Prozori im, trijemovi i palme bijahu iste mjere kao na istočnim vratima, a na prilazu im sedam stepenica; trijem im bijaše s unutrašnje strane.	22 Its windows, its porch and its palm trees were of the same size as those of the east gate. There were seven steps up to it, and its porch was at the inner end.
23 Unutrašnje predvorje imaše vrata što bijahu nasuprot sjevernim vratima; kao i istočna. On izmjeri: između jednih i drugih vrata bijaše sto lakata.	23 In the inner court there was, opposite the north gate, a gate like the one opposite the east gate. Hemeasured the distance from one gate to the other: a hundred cubits.
24 Zatim me povede na jug, i gle: i ondje vrata. Izmjeri ondje klijeti, polustupove i trijemove: bijahu iste mjere.	24 He took me to the south side where there was a south gate; he measured its guardrooms, piers andporch; they were of the same size as the others.
25 Ona, kao i njihovi trijemovi, imahu sve uokolo prozore što bijahu kao i oni prvi. Dužina je i tu iznosila pedeset lakata, a širina dvadeset i pet.	25 The gateway, as wel as its porch, had windows al round, like the windows of the others; it was fiftycubits long and twenty-five cubits wide,
26 K vratima je vodilo sedam stuba; trijem im je bio s unutrašnje strane, a na stupovima imahu po jednu palmu sa svake strane.	26 and it had seven steps up to it; its porch was at the inner end and had palm trees on its piers, one oneither side.
27 Unutrašnje predvorje imaše jedna vrata i s južne strane. On izmjeri: od tih vrata do južnih vrata – sto lakata.	27 The inner court had a south gate; he measured the distance southwards from one gate to the other: ahundred cubits.
28 atim me na južna vrata uvede u unutrašnje predvorje. I izmjeri južna vrata: bijahu istih mjera.	28 He then took me into the inner court by the south gate; he measured the south gate which was of thesame size as the others.
29 Klijeti, stupovi i trijemovi bijahu istih mjera. Vrata i njihov trijem imahu svud unaokolo prozore. Pedeset lakata bijaše tu u dužinu, dvadeset i pet lakata u širinu.	29 Its guardrooms, piers and porch were of the same size as the others.
30 A sve uokolo trijemovi: dvadeset i pet lakata dugi, a pet lakata široki.	30 The gateway, as wel as its porch, had windows al round; it was fifty cubits long and twenty-fivecubits wide.
31 Trijemovi su se pružili prema vanjskom predvorju. Na polustupovima njihovim palme, a stubište im je imalo osam stuba.	31 The porch gave on to the outer court. It had palm trees on its piers and eight steps leading up to it.
32 Zatim me povede k istočnim vratima unutrašnjega predvorja. I izmjeri vrata: bijahu istih mjera.	32 He took me to the eastern part of the inner court and measured the gate. It was of the same size asthe others.
33 Klijeti im, polustupovi i trijemovi bijahu također istih mjera. Vrata i njihov trijem imahu svud naokolo prozore. U dužinu bješe pedeset lakata, u širinu dvadeset i pet.	33 Its guardrooms, piers and porch were of the same size as the others. The gateway, as well as itsporch, had windows al round; it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
34 Trijem im se pružao prema vanjskom predvorju. Na njihovim polustupovima s ove i s one strane bijahu palme. Stubište im imaše osam stuba.	34 Its porch gave on to the outer court. There were palm trees on its piers on either side and eight stepsleading up to it.
35 Zatim me povede k sjevernim vratima. I izmjeri ih: bijahu istih mjera.	35 He then took me to the north gate and measured it.
36 Klijeti im, polustupovi i trijemovi bijahu također istih mjera. Vrata i njihov trijem imahu svud uokolo prozore. Pedeset je lakata tu bilo u dužinu, a dvadeset i pet u širinu.	36 Its guardrooms, piers and porch were of the same size as the others. The gateway had windows alround; it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
37 Trijem je sezao do vanjskoga predvorja. Na polustupovima s ove i one strane bijahu palme. Stubište imaše osam stuba.	37 Its porch gave on to the outer court. There were palm trees on its piers on either side and eight stepsleading up to it.
38 Uz trijemove vrata bijaše prostor s posebnim ulazom. Ondje su se ispirale žrtve paljenice.	38 There was a room, the entrance to which was in the porch of the gateway, where they washed theburnt offerings.
39 U trijemu vrata s jedne i s druge strane bijahu po dva stola za klanje paljenicâ, okajnicâ i naknadnicâ.	39 And inside the porch of the gateway were slabs, two on either side, for slaughtering the burntofferings, the sacrifice for sin and the sacrifice of reparation.
40 I s vanjske strane onomu tko ulazi na ulaz sjevernih vrata bijahu dva stola; i s druge strane, prema trijemu vrata, dva stola.	40 Outside, at the approach to the entrance of the north gate, were two slabs, and on the other side, atthe porch end of the gate were two slabs.
41 Četiri stola, dakle, s jedne, a četiri stola s druge strane vrata: u svemu osam stolova, na kojima se klahu žrtve.	41 There were four slabs on one side and four slabs on the other side of the gateway, eight slabs in all,on which the slaughtering was done.
42 Osim toga, četiri stola za paljenice, od klesanoga kamena. Bili su po lakat i pol široki i lakat visoki. Na njima je stajao pribor za klanje žrtava paljenica i klanica.	42 There were also four slabs of dressed stone for the burnt offerings, a cubit and a half long, a cubitand a half wide and a cubit high, on which the instruments for slaughtering the burnt offerings and sacrifice wereplaced;
43 Stolovi bijahu sve uokolo obrubljeni žljebićima od jednoga dlana, zavrnutima unutra. Na stolove se stavljalo žrtveno meso.	43 runnels a handsbreadth wide went al round the top, and on these slabs was put the sacrificial flesh.
44 Zatim me povede u unutrašnje predvorje. U unutrašnjem predvorju bijahu dvije prostorije: jedna bijaše sa strane sjevernih vrata, okrenuta prema jugu, a druga sa strane južnih vrata, okrenuta prema sjeveru.	44 Then he took me into the inner court; there were two rooms in the inner court, one on the side of thenorth gate, facing south, the other on the side of the south gate, facing north.
45 I on mi reče: »Ta prostorija što je okrenuta na jug određena je za svećenike koji obavljaju službu u Domu.	45 He told me, 'The room looking south is for the priests responsible for the service of the Temple,
46 A prostorija što je okrenuta na sjever jest za svećenike koji obavljaju službu na žrtveniku. To su sinovi Sadokovi, oni između sinova Levijevih koji smiju prići k Jahvi da mu služe!«	46 and the room looking north is for the priests responsible for the service of the altar. These are thesons of Zadok, those of the sons of Levi who approach Yahweh to serve him.'
47 On izmjeri predvorje. Dužina: sto lakata, širina: sto lakata; bijaše četverouglasto. Pred Domom stajaše žrtvenik.	47 He measured the court; it was a hundred cubits long and a hundred cubits wide, a square with thealtar standing in front of the Temple.
48 A zatim me povede k trijemu. Izmjeri polustupove trijema: bijaše pet lakata na jednoj i pet lakata na drugoj strani. Vrata bijahu široka tri lakta s jedne i tri lakta s druge strane.	48 He took me to the Ulam of the Temple and measured the piers of the Ulam: five cubits either side;and the width of the entrance was three cubits either side.
49 Trijem bijaše dugačak dvadeset lakata, a širok dvanaest lakata. Deset je stepenica vodilo onamo. Na dovratnicima s jedne i s druge strane stajaše po jedan stup.	49 The length of the Ulam was twenty cubits and its width twelve cubits. There were ten steps leadingup to it, and there were columns by the piers, one on either side.
