Ezequiel 42

BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Luego me hizo salir al atrio exterior, hacia el norte, y me llevó a las salas situadas cara al patio, es decir frente al edificio, al norte.	1 He then took me out into the outer court on the north side and led me to the room facing the court, thatis to say, to the front of the building on the north side.
2 La longitud era de cien codos, hacia el norte, y la anchura de cincuenta codos.	2 Along the front, it was a hundred cubits long on the north side and fifty cubits wide.
3 Frente a los pórticos del atrio interior, y frente al enlosado del atrio exterior, había una galería a lo largo de la galería triple,	3 Facing the gateways of the inner court and facing the paving of the outer court was a gal ery in front ofthe triple gal ery,
4 y, por delante de las salas, un corredor de diez codos de ancho hacia el interior, y cien codos de largo; sus puertas daban al norte.	4 and in front of the rooms was a walk, ten cubits measured inwards and a hundred cubits long; theirdoors looked north.
5 Las salas superiores eran estrechas, porque las galerías les comían parte de su espacio, más estrechas que las de abajo y las del medio del edificio,	5 The top-floor rooms were narrow because the gal eries took up part of the width, being narrower thanthose on the ground floor or those on the middle floor of the building;
6 porque estaban divididas en tres pisos y no tenían columnas como el atrio. Por eso, se iban estrechando con relación a las de abajo y las del medio (a partir del suelo).	6 these were divided into three storeys and had no columns such as the court had. Hence they werenarrower than the ground floor ones or the middle-floor ones (below them).
7 Y el muro exterior, paralelo a las salas, en dirección al atrio exterior, frente a las salas, tenía cincuenta codos de longitud.	7 The outer wal paral el to the rooms, facing them and giving onto the outer court, was fifty cubits long,
8 Pues la longitud de las salas que daban al atrio exterior era de cincuenta codos, mientras que las que miraban al Santo tenían cien codos.	8 the length of the rooms facing the outer court being fifty cubits, while for those facing the hal of theTemple it was a hundred cubits.
9 Por debajo de las salas había una entrada del lado de oriente, que daba acceso desde el atrio exterior.	9 Beneath the rooms there was an entrance from the east, leading in from the outer court.
10 A todo lo largo del muro del atrio, en dirección del mediodía, cara al patio y al edificio, había salas.	10 In the thickness of the wal of the court, on the south side fronting the court and the building, wererooms.
11 Un corredor pasaba por delante de ellas, como en las salas situadas en dirección norte; tenían igual longitud e igual anchura; iguales salidas, igual disposición y entradas iguales.	11 A walk ran in front of them, as with the rooms built on the north side; they were of the same lengthand breadth, and were of similar design with similar doors in and out.
12 Por debajo de las salas orientadas al mediodía había una entrada al comienzo de cada corredor, frente al muro situado hacia oriente, según se entra.	12 Before the rooms on the south side there was an entrance at the end of each walk, opposite thecorresponding wall on the east side, at their entries.
13 El me dijo: «Las salas del norte y las salas del mediodía que miran al patio son las salas del Santuario, donde los sacerdotes que se acercan a Yahveh comerán las cosas sacratísimas. Allí depositarán las cosas sacratísimas, la oblación, el sacrificio por el pecado y el sacrificio de expiación, porque es un lugar santo.	13 He said to me, 'The northern and southern rooms giving onto the court are the rooms of thesanctuary, in which the priests who approach Yahweh will eat the most holy things. In them will be placed themost holy things: the oblation, the sacrifice for sin and the sacrifice of reparation, since this is a holy place.
14 Y cuando los sacerdotes entren allí, no saldrán del santuario al atrio exterior sin haber dejado allí sus vestiduras litúrgicas, porque estas vestiduras son santas; para acercarse a los lugares destinados al pueblo se pondrán otras ropas».	14 Once the priests have entered, they wil not go out of the holy place into the outer court withoutleaving their liturgical vestments there, since these vestments are holy; they will put on other clothes beforegoing near places assigned to the people.'
15 Cuando acabó de medir el interior de la Casa, me hizo salir en dirección al pórtico que mira a oriente y midió todo el ámbito.	15 When he had finished measuring the inside of the Temple, he took me out to the east gate andmeasured it right round the sides.
16 Midió el lado oriental con su vara de medir: quinientos codos de perímetro, con la vara de medir.	16 He measured the east side with his measuring rod: a total of five hundred cubits by the measuringrod.
17 Luego midió el lado norte con la vara de medir: quinientos codos de perímetro.	17 He then measured the north side: a total of five hundred cubits by the measuring rod.
18 Después midió el lado sur con la vara de medir: quinientos codos	18 He then measured the south side: five hundred cubits by the measuring rod
19 de perímetro. Por el lado occidental midió con la vara de medir: quinientos codos.	19 was the total. On the west side he measured five hundred cubits by the measuring rod.
20 Midió por fin por los cuatro lados el muro que lo cercaba, todo alrededor: longitud, quinientos; anchura, quinientos; para separar lo sagrado de lo profano.	20 He measured the entire enclosing wall on al four sides: length five hundred, breadth five hundred,separating the sacred from the profane.
