1 وكانت القرعة لسبط بني يهوذا حسب عشائرهم الى تخم ادوم برية صين نحو الجنوب اقصى التيمن.	1 The lot for the clans of the Judahite tribe fell in the extreme south toward the boundary of Edom, the desert of Zin in the Negeb.
2 وكان تخمهم الجنوبي اقصى بحر الملح من اللسان المتوجه نحو الجنوب.	2 The boundary there ran from the bay that forms the southern end of the Salt Sea,
3 وخرج الى جنوب عقبة عقربّيم وعبر الى صين وصعد من جنوب قادش برنيع وعبر الى حصرون وصعد الى ادّار ودار الى القرقع	3 southward below the pass of Akrabbim, across through Zin, up to a point south of Kadesh-barnea, across to Hezron, and up to Addar; from there, looping around Karka,
4 وعبر الى عصمون وخرج الى وادي مصر وكانت مخارج التخم عند البحر. هذا يكون تخمكم الجنوبي.	4 it crossed to Azmon and then joined the Wadi of Egypt before coming out at the sea. (This is your southern boundary.)
5 وتخم الشرق بحر الملح الى طرف الاردن. وتخم جانب الشمال من لسان البحر اقصى الاردن.	5 The eastern boundary was the Salt Sea as far as the mouth of the Jordan.
6 وصعد التخم الى بيت حجلة وعبر من شمال بيت العربة وصعد التخم الى حجر بوهن بن رأوبين	6 The northern boundary climbed from the bay where the Jordan meets the sea, up to Beth-hoglah, and ran north of Beth-arabah, up to Eben-Bohan-ben-Reuben.
7 وصعد التخم الى دبير من وادي عخور وتوجه نحو الشمال الى الجلجال التي مقابل عقبة ادميم التي من جنوبي الوادي. وعبر التخم الى مياه عين شمس وكانت مخارجه الى عين روجل.	7 Thence it climbed to Debir, north of the vale of Achor, in the direction of the Gilgal that faces the pass of Adummim, on the south side of the wadi; from there it crossed to the waters of En-shemesh and emerged at En-rogel.
8 وصعد التخم في وادي ابن هنوم الى جانب اليبوسي من الجنوب. هي اورشليم. وصعد التخم الى راس الجبل الذي قبالة وادي هنوم غربا الذي هو في طرف وادي الرفائيين شمالا.	8 Climbing again to the Valley of Ben-hinnom on the southern flank of the Jebusites (that is, Jerusalem), the boundary rose to the top of the mountain at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim, which bounds the Valley of Hinnom on the west.
9 وامتد التخم من راس الجبل الى منبع مياه نفتوح وخرج الى مدن جبل عفرون وامتد التخم الى بعلة. هي قرية يعاريم.	9 From the top of the mountain it ran to the fountain of waters of Nephtoah, extended to the cities of Mount Ephron, and continued to Baalah, or Kiriath-jearim.
10 وامتد التخم من بعلة غربا الى جبل سعير وعبر الى جانب جبل يعاريم من الشمال. هي كسالون ونزل الى بيت شمس وعبر الى تمنة.	10 From Baalah the boundary curved westward to Mount Seir and passed north of the ridge of Mount Jearim (that is, Chesalon); thence it descended to Beth-shemesh, and ran across to Timnah.
11 وخرج التخم الى جانب عقرون نحو الشمال وامتد التخم الى شكرون وعبر جبل البعلة وخرج الى يبنئيل وكان مخارج التخم عند البحر.	11 It then extended along the northern flank of Ekron, continued through Shikkeron, and across to Mount Baalah, thence to include Jabneel, before it came out at the sea.
12 والتخم الغربي البحر الكبير وتخومه. هذا تخم بني يهوذا مستديرا حسب عشائرهم	12 The western boundary was the Great Sea and its coast. This was the complete boundary of the clans of the Judahites.
13 واعطى كالب بن يفنّة قسما في وسط بني يهوذا حسب قول الرب ليشوع قرية اربع ابي عناق. هي حبرون.	13 As the LORD had commanded, Joshua gave Caleb, son of Jephunneh, a portion among the Judahites, namely, Kiriath-arba (Arba was the father of Anak), that is, Hebron.
14 وطرد كالب من هناك بني عناق الثلاثة شيشاي واخيمان وتلماي اولاد عناق.	14 And Caleb drove out from there the three Anakim, the descendants of Anak: Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai.
15 وصعد من هناك الى سكان دبير وكان اسم دبير قبلا قرية سفر.	15 From there he marched up against the inhabitants of Debir, which was formerly called Kiriath-sepher.
16 وقال كالب. من يضرب قرية سفر ويأخذها اعطيه عكسة ابنتي امرأة.	16 Caleb said, "I will give my daughter Achsah in marriage to the one who attacks Kiriath-sepher and captures it."
17 فاخذها عثنيئيل بن قناز اخو كالب. فاعطاه عكسة ابنته امرأة.	17 Othniel, son of Caleb's brother Kenaz, captured it, and so Caleb gave him his daughter Achsah in marriage.
18 وكان عند دخولها انها غرته بطلب حقل من ابيها. فنزلت عن الحمار فقال لها كالب ما لك.	18 On the day of her marriage to Othniel, she induced him to ask her father for some land. Then, as she alighted from the ass, Caleb asked her, "What is troubling you?"
19 فقالت اعطني بركة. لانك اعطيتني ارض الجنوب فاعطني ينابيع ماء فاعطاها الينابيع العليا والينابيع السفلى	19 She answered, "Give me an additional gift! Since you have assigned to me land in the Negeb, give me also pools of water." So he gave her the upper and the lower pools.
20 هذا نصيب سبط بني يهوذا حسب عشائرهم.	20 This is the heritage of the clans of the tribe of Judahites:
21 وكانت المدن القصوى التي لسبط بني يهوذا الى تخم ادوم جنوبا قبصئيل وعيدر وياجور	21 The cities of the tribe of the Judahites in the extreme southern district toward Edom were: Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,
22 وقينة وديمونة وعدعدة	22 Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah,
23 وقادش وحاصور ويثنان	23 Kedesh, Hazor and Ithnan;
24 وزيف وطالم وبعلوت	24 Ziph, Telem, Bealoth,
25 وحاصور وحدتّة وقريوت وحصرون. هي حاصور.	25 Hazor-hadattah, and Kerioth-hezron (that is, Hazor);
26 وامام وشماع ومولادة	26 Amam, Shema, Moladah,
27 وحصر جدة وحشمون وبيت فالط	27 Hazar-gaddah, Heshmon, Beth-pelet,
28 وحصر شوعال وبئر سبع وبزيوتية	28 Hazar-shual, Beer-sheba and Biziothiah;
29 وبعلة وعيّيم وعاصم	29 Baalah, Iim, Ezem,
30 وألتولد وكسيل وحرمة	30 Eltolad, Chesil, Hormah,
31 وصقلغ ومدمنة وسنسنة	31 Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah,
32 ولباوت وشلحيم وعين ورمّون. كل المدن تسع وعشرون مع ضياعها	32 Lebaoth, Shilhim and En-rimmon; a total of twenty-nine cities with their villages.
33 في السهل اشتأول وصرعة وأشنة	33 In the foothills: Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah,
34 وزانوح وعين جنيم وتفوح وعينام	34 Zanoah, Engannim, Tappuah, Enam,
35 ويرموت وعدلام وسوكوه وعزيقة	35 Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah,
36 وشعرايم وعديتايم والجديرة وجديروتايم. اربع عشرة مدينة مع ضياعها	36 Shaaraim, Adithaim, Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities and their villages.
37 صنان وحداشة ومجدل جاد	37 Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal-gad,
38 ودلعان والمصفاة ويقتيئيل	38 Dilean, Mizpeh, Joktheel,
39 ولخيش وبصقة وعجلون	39 Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon,
40 وكبون ولحمام وكتليش	40 Cabbon, Lahmam, Chitlish,
41 وجديروت بيت داجون ونعمة ومقيدة. ست عشرة مدينة مع ضياعها.	41 Gederoth, Beth-dagon, Naamah and Makkedah; sixteen cities and their villages.
42 لبنة وعاتر وعاشان	42 Libnah, Ether, Ashan,
43 ويفتاح واشنة ونصيب	43 Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib,
44 وقعيلة واكزيب ومريشة. تسع مدن مع ضياعها	44 Keilah, Achzib and Mareshah; nine cities and their villages.
45 عقرون وقراها وضياعها.	45 Ekron and its towns and villages;
46 من عقرون غربا كل ما بقرب اشدود وضياعها.	46 from Ekron to the sea, all the towns that lie alongside Ashdod, and their villages;
47 اشدود وقراها وضياعها وغزة وقراها وضياعها الى وادي مصر والبحر الكبير وتخومه	47 Ashdod and its towns and villages; Gaza and its towns and villages, as far as the Wadi of Egypt and the coast of the Great Sea.
48 وفي الجبل شامير ويتّير وسوكوه	48 In the mountain regions: Shamir, Jattir, Socoh,
49 ودنّة وقرية سنّة. هي دبير.	49 Dannah, Kiriath-sannah (that is, Debir),
50 وعناب واشتموه وعانيم	50 Anab, Eshtemoh, Anim,
51 وجوشن وحولون وجيلوه. احدى عشرة مدينة مع ضياعها.	51 Goshen, Holon and Giloh; eleven cities and their villages.
52 أراب ودومة واشعان	52 Arab, Dumah, Eshan,
53 وينوم وبيت تفوح وافيقة	53 Janim, Beth-tappuah, Aphekah,
54 وحمطة وقرية اربع. هي حبرون وصيعور. تسع مدن مع ضياعها.	54 Humtah, Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), and Zior; nine cities and their villages.
55 معون وكرمل وزيف ويوطة	55 Maon, Carmel, Ziph, Juttah,
56 ويزرعيل ويقدعام وزانوح	56 Jezreel, Jokdeam, Zanoah,
57 والقاين وجبعة وتمنة. عشر مدن مع ضياعها.	57 Kain, Gibbeah and Timnah; ten cities and their villages.
58 حلحول وبيت صور وجدور	58 Halhul, Beth-zur, Gedor,
59 ومعارة وبيت عنوت والتقون. ست مدن مع ضياعها	59 Maarath, Beth-anoth and Eltekon; six cities and their villages. Tekoa, Ephrathah (that is, Bethlehem), Peor, Etam, Kulom, Tatam, Zores, Karim, Gallim, Bether and Manoko; eleven cities and their villages.
60 قرية بعل. هي قرية يعاريم. والربّة. مدينتان مع ضياعهما	60 Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim) and Rabbah; two cities and their villages.
61 في البرية بيت العربة ومدّين وسكاكة	61 In the desert: Beth-arabah, Middin, Secacah,
62 والنبشان ومدينة الملح وعين جدي. ست مدن مع ضياعها.	62 Nibshan, Ir-hamelah and En-gedi; six cities and their villages.
63 واما اليبوسيون الساكنون في اورشليم فلم يقدر بنو يهوذا على طردهم فسكن اليبوسيون مع بني يهوذا في اورشليم الى هذا اليوم	63 (But the Jebusites who lived in Jerusalem the Judahites could not drive out; so the Jebusites dwell in Jerusalem beside the Judahites to the present day.)
