Hebrews 3

1 That is why al you who are holy brothers and share the same heavenly cal should turn your minds toJesus, the apostle and the high priest of our profession of faith.	1 לכן אחי הקדושים חברים לקריאה של מעלה הביטו אל השליח וכהן הודיתנו הגדול אל המשיח ישוע
2 He was trustworthy to the one who appointed him, just like Moses, who remained trustworthy in all hishousehold;	2 אשר הוא נאמן לעשהו כמו גם משה בכל ביתו
3 but he deserves a greater glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house is more honoured than thehouse itself.	3 כי כבוד גדול ממשה נחל זה כאשר בנה הבית חשוב יותר מן הבית
4 Every house is built by someone, of course; but God built everything that exists.	4 כי כל בית יש לו בנה אבל בונה כל הוא האלהים
5 It is true that Moses was trustworthy in the household of God, as a servant is, acting as witness to thethings which were yet to be revealed,	5 והן משה נאמן בכל ביתו כעבד לעדות העמדות להאמר
6 but Christ is trustworthy as a son is, over his household. And we are his household, as long as wefearlessly maintain the hope in which we glory.	6 אבל המשיח הוא הבן על ביתו ואנחנו ביתו אם נחזיק בבטחון ובתהלת התקוה ולא נרפנה עד הקץ
7 That is why, as the Holy Spirit says: If only you would listen to him today!	7 לכן כמאמר רוח הקדש היום אם בקלו תשמעו
8 Do not harden your hearts, as at the rebel ion, as at the time of testing in the desert,	8 אל תקשו לבבכם כמריבה כיום מסה במדבר
9 when your ancestors chal enged me, and put me to the test, and saw what I could do	9 אשר נסוני אבותיכם בחנוני גם ראו פעלי ארבעים שנה
10 for forty years. That was why that generation sickened me and I said, 'Always fickle hearts, thatcannot grasp my ways!'	10 לכן אקוט בדור ואמר עם תעי לבב הם והם לא ידעו דרכי
11 And then in my anger I swore that they would never enter my place of rest.	11 אשר נשבעתי באפי אם יבאון אל מנוחתי
12 Take care, brothers, that none of you ever has a wicked heart, so unbelieving as to turn away from theliving God.	12 ראו עתה אחי פן יש באחד מכם לב רע וחסר אמונה לסור מאלהים חיים
13 Every day, as long as this today lasts, keep encouraging one another so that none of you is hardenedby the lure of sin,	13 אך הוכח תוכיחו איש את רעהו יום יום עד שיקרא היום למען אשר לא יקשה איש מכם את לבו במדוחי פשע
14 because we have been granted a share with Christ only if we keep the grasp of our first confidencefirm to the end.	14 כי נתחברנו למשיח אם נחזיק בראשית הבטחה ולא נרפנה עד הקץ
15 In this saying: If only you would listen to him today; do not harden your hearts, as at the Rebel ion,	15 כאשר נאמר היום אם בקלו תשמעו אל תקשו לבבכם כמריבה
16 who was it who listened and then rebelled? Surely al those whom Moses led out of Egypt.	16 מי אפוא אלה אשר שמעו ויריבו הלא כל יצאי מצרים ביד משה
17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Surely with those who sinned and whose dead bodiesfel in the desert.	17 ובמי התקוטט ארבעים שנה הלא בחטאים אשר נפלו פגריהם במדבר
18 To whom did he swear they would never enter his place of rest? Surely those who would not believe.	18 ולמי נשבע לבלתי בא אל מנוחתו אם לא לסוררים
19 So we see that it was their refusal to believe which prevented them from entering.	19 ואנחנו ראים כי לא יכלו לבוא על אשר לא האמינו
