1 It is for you, then, to preach the behaviour which goes with healthy doctrine.	1 Ty zaś głoś to, co jest zgodne ze zdrową nauką:
2 Older men should be reserved, dignified, moderate, sound in faith and love and perseverance.	2 że starcy winni być ludźmi trzeźwymi, statecznymi, roztropnymi odznaczającymi się zdrową wiarą, miłością, cierpliwością.
3 Similarly, older women should behave as befits religious people, with no scandal-mongering and noaddiction to wine -- they must be the teachers of right behaviour	3 Podobnie starsze kobiety winny być w zewnętrznym ułożeniu jak najskromniejsze, winny unikać plotek i oszczerstw, nie upijać się winem, a uczyć innych dobrego.
4 and show younger women how they should love their husbands and love their children,	4 Niech pouczają młode kobiety, jak mają kochać mężów, dzieci,
5 how they must be sensible and chaste, and how to work in their homes, and be gentle, and obey theirhusbands, so that the message of God is not disgraced.	5 jak mają być rozumne, czyste, gospodarne, dobre, poddane swym mężom - aby nie bluźniono słowu Bożemu.
6 Similarly, urge younger men to be moderate in everything that they do,	6 Młodzieńców również upominaj, aby byli umiarkowani;
7 and you yourself set an example of good works, by sincerity and earnestness, when you are teaching,and by a message sound and irreproachable	7 we wszystkim dawaj wzór dobrych uczynków własnym postępowaniem w nauczaniu okazuj prawość, powagę,
8 so that any opponent will be at a loss, with no accusation to make against us.	8 mowę zdrową, wolną od zarzutu, ażeby przeciwnik ustąpił ze wstydem, nie mogąc nic złego o nas powiedzieć.
9 Slaves must be obedient to their masters in everything, and do what is wanted without argument;	9 Niewolnicy niech będą poddani swoim panom we wszystkim, niech się starają im przypodobać, niech się im nie sprzeciwiają,
10 and there must be no pilfering -- they must show complete honesty at al times, so that they are in everyway a credit to the teaching of God our Saviour.	10 niczego sobie nie przywłaszczają, lecz niech okazują zawsze doskonałą wierność, ażeby pod każdym względem stali się chlubą dla nauki naszego Zbawiciela, Boga.
11 You see, God's grace has been revealed to save the whole human race;	11 Ukazała się bowiem łaska Boga, która niesie zbawienie wszystkim ludziom
12 it has taught us that we should give up everything contrary to true religion and all our worldly passions;we must be self-restrained and live upright and religious lives in this present world,	12 i poucza nas, abyśmy wyrzekłszy się bezbożności i żądz światowych, rozumnie i sprawiedliwie, i pobożnie żyli na tym świecie,
13 waiting in hope for the blessing which will come with the appearing of the glory of our great God andSaviour Christ Jesus.	13 oczekując błogosławionej nadziei i objawienia się chwały wielkiego Boga i Zbawiciela naszego, Jezusa Chrystusa,
14 He offered himself for us in order to ransom us from al our faults and to purify a people to be his veryown and eager to do good.	14 który wydał samego siebie za nas, aby odkupić nas od wszelkiej nieprawości i oczyścić sobie lud wybrany na własność, gorliwy w spełnianiu dobrych uczynków.
15 This is what you must say, encouraging or arguing with ful authority; no one should despise you.	15 To mów, do tego zachęcaj i karć z całą powagą, niechaj cię nikt nie lekceważy!
