NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 The second lot to come out was for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans; their heritagewas within the heritage of the sons of Judah.	1 Il secondo sorteggio toccò a Simeone, alla tribù dei figli di Simeone, secondo le loro famiglie. La loro proprietà si trovò ad essere in mezzo ai figli di Giuda.
2 As heritage, they received:	2 Ebbero come proprietà Bersabea, Seba, Molada,
3 Beersheba, Shema, Moladah,	3 Cazar-Susa, Bala, Ezem,
4 Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem, Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,	4 Eltolad, Betul, Corma,
5 Ziklag, Beth-ha-Marcaboth, Hazar-Susa,	5 Ziklag, Bet-Marcabot, Cazar-Susa,
6 Beth-Lebaoth and Sharuhen: thirteen towns and their vil ages.	6 Bet-Lebaot, Saruchen: tredici città con i loro villaggi.
7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether and Ashan: four towns and their villages,	7 En, Rimmon, Eter e Asan: quattro città e i loro villaggi;
8 with al the vil ages situated near these towns as far as Baalath-Beer and Ramah of the Negeb. Suchwas the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans.	8 tutti i villaggi che erano intorno a queste città, fino a Baalat-Beer, Ramat-Negheb. Questa era la porzione della tribù dei figli di Simeone secondo le loro famiglie.
9 The heritage of the sons of Simeon was taken out of the portion of the sons of Judah, because theshare of the sons of Judah was too large for them; hence, the sons of Simeon received their heritage within theheritage of the sons of Judah.	9 La porzione dei figli di Simeone fu presa dalla parte dei figli di Giuda, perché la parte dei figli di Giuda era troppo grande per loro e così i figli di Simeone ottennero la parte in mezzo alla loro porzione.
10 The third lot fel to the sons of Zebulun, by clans; the territory of their heritage stretched as far asSadud;	10 Il terzo sorteggio venne compiuto per i figli di Zabulon, secondo le loro famiglie; il limite del loro possesso si estendeva fino a Sarid;
11 their frontier climbed westwards to Maraalah, touching Dabbesheth and the torrent facing Jokneam.	11 di lì il loro confine saliva ad ovest verso Mareala e raggiungeva Dabbeset e poi il torrente che è di fronte a Iokneam;
12 From Sadud, the frontier turned east, towards the rising sun, as far as the frontier of Chisloth-Tabor; itcame out at Dobrath and went up to Japhia.	12 da Sarid il confine volgeva ad est, dove sorge il sole, sino al confine di Chislot-Tabor, usciva a Daberat e saliva a Iafia;
13 Thence, it went east, towards the sunrise, to Gath-Hepher and Ittah-Kazin, came out at Rimmon andturned towards Neah.	13 di là passava, in direzione est, a Gat-Chefer, a Et-Kazin, usciva a Rimmon e volgeva verso Nea.
14 The northern frontier turned towards Hannathon and came to an end in the Val ey of Iphtah-El;	14 Poi il confine piegava a nord verso Cannaton e faceva capo alla valle d'Iftach-El.
15 with Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Iralah and Bethlehem: twelve towns with their villages.	15 Esso includeva inoltre: Kattat, Naalol, Simron, Ideala e Betlemme: dodici città e i loro villaggi.
16 Such was the heritage of the sons of Zebulun, by clans: these towns with their vil ages.	16 Questo fu il possesso dei figli di Zabulon, secondo le loro famiglie: queste città e i loro villaggi.
17 The fourth lot came out for Issachar, for the sons of Issachar, by clans.	17 La quarta parte sorteggiata toccò a Issacar, ai figli di Issacar, secondo le loro famiglie.
18 Their territory stretched towards Jezreel and included Chesul oth, Shunem,	18 ll loro territorio comprendeva: Izreel, Chesullot, Sunem,
19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,	19 Cafaraim, Sion, Anacarat,
20 Dobrath, Kishion, Ebez,	20 Rabbit, Kision, Abez,
21 Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah and Beth-Pazzez.	21 Remet, En-Gannim, En-Cadda e Bet-Pazzez.
22 Their frontier touched Tabor, Shahazimah and Beth-Shemesh, and the frontier came to an end at theJordan: sixteen towns with their vil ages.	22 Poi il confine giungeva a Tabor, Sacazim, Bet-Semes e faceva capo al Giordano: sedici città e i loro villaggi.
23 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.	23 Questo fu il possesso della tribù dei figli di Issacar, secondo le loro famiglie: queste città e i loro villaggi.
24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans.	24 La quinta parte sorteggiata toccò ai figli di Aser, secondo le loro famiglie.
25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,	25 Il loro territorio comprendeva: Chelkat, Cali, Beten, Acsaf,
26 Alammelech, Amad and Mishal.	26 Alammelech, Amead, Miseal. Il loro confine giungeva, verso occidente, al Carmelo e a Sicor-Libnat.
27 On the west, it touched Carmel and the course of the Libnath. On the side of the rising sun, it went asfar as Beth-Dagon, touched Zebulun, the Val ey of Iphtah-El on the north side, Beth-ha-Emek and Neiel, comingout with Cabul on the left,	27 Quindi piegava dal lato dove sorge il sole verso Bet-Dagon, toccava Zabulon e la valle di Iftach-El al nord, Bet-Emek e Neiel, e si prolungava verso Cabul a sinistra
28 with Abdon, Rehob, Hammon and Kanah as far as Sidon the Great. The frontier then turned towardsRamah, as far as the fortress-town of Tyre;	28 e verso Ebron, Recob, Ammon e Cana fino a Sidone la Grande.
29 the frontier then went to Hosah and reached as far as the sea at Mahalab and Achzib,	29 Poi il confine piegava verso Rama fino alla fortezza di Tiro, girava verso Cosa e faceva capo al mare; incluse Mechebel, Aczib,
30 with Acco, Aphek and Rehob: twenty-two towns with their vil ages.	30 Acco, Afek e Recob; ventidue città e i loro villaggi.
31 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans; these towns and their vil ages.	31 Questa era la parte toccata ai figli di Aser, secondo le loro famiglie: queste città con i loro villaggi.
32 To the sons of Naphtali fel the sixth portion, to the sons of Naphtali, by clans.	32 La sesta parte sorteggiata toccò ai figli di Neftali, secondo le loro famiglie.
33 Their frontier went from Heleph and the Oak of Zanaannim, with Adami-ha-Negeb and Jabneel, as faras Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan.	33 Il loro confine si estendeva da Chelef e dalla quercia di Bezaannim ad Adami-Nekeb e Iabneel fino a Lakkum e faceva capo al Giordano,
34 The westward boundary ran to Aznoth-Tabor and thence came out at Hukkok, marching with Zebulunin the south, Asher in the west and the Jordan in the east.	34 poi il confine piegava a occidente verso Aznot-Tabor e di là continuava verso Cukkok; giungeva a Zabulon dal lato di mezzogiorno, ad Aser dal lato d'occidente e a Giuda del Giordano dal lato di levante.
35 The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,	35 Le fortezze erano Ziddim, Zer, Cammat, Rakkat, Genesaret,
36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,	36 Adama, Rama, Azor,
37 Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,	37 Kedes, Edrei, En-Azor,
38 Jiron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath and Beth-Shemesh: nineteen towns and their vil ages.	38 Ireon, Migdal-El, Corem, Bet-Anat e Bet-Semes: diciannove città e i loro villaggi.
39 Such was the heritage of the sons of Naphtali, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.	39 Questa era la parte toccata ai figli di Neftali, secondo le loro famiglie: le città e i loro villaggi.
40 To the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans, fel the seventh portion.	40 Il settimo sorteggio fu per la tribù dei figli di Dan, secondo le loro famiglie.
41 The territory of their heritage comprised: Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,	41 Il confine del loro territorio era: Sorea, Estaol, Ir-Semes,
42 Shaalbim, Aijalon, Silatha,	42 Saalabbin, Aialon, Itla,
43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron,	43 Elon, Timna, Accaron,

45 Baalath, Azor, Bene-Berak and Gath-Rimmon;	45 Ieud, Bene-Berak, Gat-Rimmon,

47 The territory of the sons of Dan eluded them, however, and the sons of Dan consequently went upand attacked Leshem, captured it and put it to the sword. Having gained possession of it, they settled there andcal ed Leshem, Dan, after Dan their ancestor.	47 Ma la porzione dei figli di Dan risultò troppo piccola per loro; perciò i figli di Dan salirono a prendere d'assalto Lesem; la presero e la passarono a fil di spada; come se ne furono impadroniti vi si stabilirono e a Lesem misero nome Dan, dal nome di Dan loro padre.

49 Having finished dividing the country, frontier by frontier, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun aheritage among themselves;	49 Quando ebbero finito di sorteggiare il paese secondo le sue ripartizioni, i figli d'Israele attribuirono in mezzo a loro una porzione a Giosuè, figlio di Nun;
50 at Yahweh's command, they gave him the town which he had asked for, Timnath-Serah in thehighlands of Ephraim; he rebuilt the town and settled there.	50 secondo le disposizioni del Signore, gli diedero la città di Timnat-Serach, ch'egli aveva chiesto, sui monti di Efraim; egli la ricostruì e vi abitò.
51 Such are the heritages which the priest Eleazar, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of each familyapportioned by lot between the tribes of Israel at Shiloh, in Yahweh's presence, at the door of the Tent ofMeeting; and thus the apportioning of the country was completed.	51 Queste sono le eredità che il sacerdote Eleazaro, Giosuè, figlio di Nun, e i capi famiglia delle tribù dei figli d'Israele sorteggiarono in Silo, davanti al Signore, all'ingresso della tenda del convegno. Così posero termine alla distribuzione della terra.
