1 The second lot to come out was for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans; their heritagewas within the heritage of the sons of Judah.	1 Das zweite Los fiel [auf Simeon] auf den Stamm der Simeoniter und ihre Sippen. Ihr Erbbesitz lag mitten im Erbbesitz der Judäer.
2 As heritage, they received:	2 Sie erhielten als Erbbesitz: Beerscheba, Scheba, Molada,
3 Beersheba, Shema, Moladah,	3 Hazar-Schual, Baala, Ezem,
4 Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem, Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,	4 Eltolad, Betul, Horma,
5 Ziklag, Beth-ha-Marcaboth, Hazar-Susa,	5 Ziklag, Bet-Markabot, Hazar- Susa,
6 Beth-Lebaoth and Sharuhen: thirteen towns and their vil ages.	6 Bet-Lebaot und Scharuhen: dreizehn Städte mit den dazugehörenden Gehöften;
7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether and Ashan: four towns and their villages,	7 ferner Ajin, Rimmon, Atar und Aschan: vier Städte mit den dazugehörenden Gehöften,
8 with al the vil ages situated near these towns as far as Baalath-Beer and Ramah of the Negeb. Suchwas the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans.	8 dazu alle Gehöfte rings um diese Städte bis hin nach Baalat-Beer und Ramat-Negeb. Das ist der Erbbesitz des Stamms der Simeoniter, entsprechend ihren Sippen.
9 The heritage of the sons of Simeon was taken out of the portion of the sons of Judah, because theshare of the sons of Judah was too large for them; hence, the sons of Simeon received their heritage within theheritage of the sons of Judah.	9 Der Erbbesitz der Simeoniter war ein Stück vom Anteil der Judäer; denn der Anteil der Judäer war für diese zu groß. So erhielten die Simeoniter Erbbesitz mitten in deren Erbbesitz.
10 The third lot fel to the sons of Zebulun, by clans; the territory of their heritage stretched as far asSadud;	10 Das dritte Los fiel auf die Sebuloniter und ihre Sippen. Das Gebiet ihres Erbbesitzes erstreckt sich bis nach Sarid.
11 their frontier climbed westwards to Maraalah, touching Dabbesheth and the torrent facing Jokneam.	11 Ihre Grenze steigt westwärts nach Marala hinauf, berührt Dabbeschet und stößt an das Bachtal gegenüber von Jokneam.
12 From Sadud, the frontier turned east, towards the rising sun, as far as the frontier of Chisloth-Tabor; itcame out at Dobrath and went up to Japhia.	12 Von Sarid aus wendet sie sich nach Osten [dem Sonnenaufgang zu] zum Gebiet von Kislot-Tabor, läuft weiter nach Daberat und hinauf nach Jafia.
13 Thence, it went east, towards the sunrise, to Gath-Hepher and Ittah-Kazin, came out at Rimmon andturned towards Neah.	13 Von dort geht sie wieder ostwärts dem Sonnenaufgang zu nach Gat-Hefer und Et-Kazin und weiter nach Rimmon und biegt dann ab nach Nea.
14 The northern frontier turned towards Hannathon and came to an end in the Val ey of Iphtah-El;	14 Sie zieht sich um Nea herum, geht dann in nördlicher Richtung nach Hannaton und läuft im Tal Jiftach-El aus.
15 with Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Iralah and Bethlehem: twelve towns with their villages.	15 (Dazu kommen) . . . Kattat, Nahalal, Schimron, Jidala und Betlehem: zwölf Städte mit den dazugehörenden Gehöften.
16 Such was the heritage of the sons of Zebulun, by clans: these towns with their vil ages.	16 Das ist der Erbbesitz der Sebuloniter, entsprechend ihren Sippen: die Städte mit den dazugehörenden Gehöften.
17 The fourth lot came out for Issachar, for the sons of Issachar, by clans.	17 Das vierte Los fiel [auf Issachar,] auf die Issachariter und ihre Sippen.
18 Their territory stretched towards Jezreel and included Chesul oth, Shunem,	18 Ihr Gebiet erstreckt sich bis Jesreel und (umfasst) Kesullot, Schunem,
19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,	19 Hafarajim, Schion, Anahara,
20 Dobrath, Kishion, Ebez,	20 Rabbit, Kischjon, Ebez,
21 Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah and Beth-Pazzez.	21 Remet, En-Gannim, En- Hadda und Bet-Pazzez.
22 Their frontier touched Tabor, Shahazimah and Beth-Shemesh, and the frontier came to an end at theJordan: sixteen towns with their vil ages.	22 Die Grenze berührt Tabor, Schahazajim und Bet-Schemesch. Dann läuft sie am Jordan aus: Im Ganzen sind es sechzehn Städte mit den dazugehörenden Gehöften.

24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans.	24 Das fünfte Los fiel auf den Stamm der Ascheriter und ihre Sippen.
25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,	25 Ihr Gebiet umfasst Helkat, Hali, Beten, Achschaf,
26 Alammelech, Amad and Mishal.	26 Alammelech, Amad und Mischal; es stößt im Westen an den Karmel und an den Fluss Libnat.
27 On the west, it touched Carmel and the course of the Libnath. On the side of the rising sun, it went asfar as Beth-Dagon, touched Zebulun, the Val ey of Iphtah-El on the north side, Beth-ha-Emek and Neiel, comingout with Cabul on the left,	27 Im Osten dagegen verläuft die Grenze nach Bet-Dagon, stößt an Sebulon und berührt im Norden das Tal Jiftach-El, ferner Bet-Emek und Negiël und geht dann nordwärts nach Kabul
28 with Abdon, Rehob, Hammon and Kanah as far as Sidon the Great. The frontier then turned towardsRamah, as far as the fortress-town of Tyre;	28 - Abdon, Rehob, Hammon und Kana gehören dazu - und bis nach Groß-Sidon.
29 the frontier then went to Hosah and reached as far as the sea at Mahalab and Achzib,	29 Dann wendet sich die Grenze nach Rama und geht bis zur Festung Tyrus. Von dort wendet sie sich nach Hosa und läuft am Meer aus. (Dazu gehören) . . . Mahaleb, Achsib,
30 with Acco, Aphek and Rehob: twenty-two towns with their vil ages.	30 Umma, Afek und Rehob: (im ganzen) zweiundzwanzig Städte mit den dazugehörenden Gehöften.

32 To the sons of Naphtali fel the sixth portion, to the sons of Naphtali, by clans.	32 Das sechste Los fiel auf die Naftaliter und ihre Sippen.
33 Their frontier went from Heleph and the Oak of Zanaannim, with Adami-ha-Negeb and Jabneel, as faras Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan.	33 Ihre Grenze geht von Helef, von der Eiche bei Zaanannim, aus über Adami-Nekeb und Jabneel bis nach Lakkum und läuft am Jordan aus.
34 The westward boundary ran to Aznoth-Tabor and thence came out at Hukkok, marching with Zebulunin the south, Asher in the west and the Jordan in the east.	34 Umgekehrt geht die Grenze westwärts nach Asnot-Tabor und von dort hinaus nach Hukkok. Sie stößt im Süden an Sebulon; im Westen stößt sie an Ascher und im Osten [an Juda und] an den Jordan.
35 The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,	35 (Dazu kommen) die befestigten Städte Ziddim, Zer, Hammat-Rakkat, Kinneret,
36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,	36 Adama, Rama, Hazor,
37 Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,	37 Kedesch, Edreï, En- Hazor,
38 Jiron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath and Beth-Shemesh: nineteen towns and their vil ages.	38 Jiron, Migdal-El, Horem, Bet- Anat und Bet-Schemesch: neunzehn Städte mit den dazugehörenden Gehöften.
39 Such was the heritage of the sons of Naphtali, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.	39 Das ist der Erbbesitz der Naftaliter entsprechend ihren Sippen: die Städte mit den dazugehörenden Gehöften.
40 To the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans, fel the seventh portion.	40 Das siebte Los fiel auf den Stamm der Daniter und ihre Sippen.
41 The territory of their heritage comprised: Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,	41 Das Gebiet ihres Erbbesitzes umfasste Zora, Eschtaol, Ir-Schemesch,

47 The territory of the sons of Dan eluded them, however, and the sons of Dan consequently went upand attacked Leshem, captured it and put it to the sword. Having gained possession of it, they settled there andcal ed Leshem, Dan, after Dan their ancestor.	47 Doch das Gebiet wurde den Danitern zu eng. Da zogen die Daniter nach Leschem hinauf, eröffneten den Kampf gegen Leschem, nahmen es ein und erschlugen seine Einwohner mit scharfem Schwert. Sie nahmen die Stadt in Besitz und blieben dort. Sie nannten Leschem von nun an Dan, nach dem Namen ihres Stammvaters Dan.
48 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans: these towns and their vil ages.	48 Das ist der Erbbesitz des Stammes der Daniter, entsprechend ihren Sippen: die Städte mit den dazugehörenden Gehöften.
49 Having finished dividing the country, frontier by frontier, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun aheritage among themselves;	49 So vollendeten die Israeliten die Verteilung der Gebiete des Landes. Die Israeliten gaben auch Josua, dem Sohn Nuns, Erbbesitz in ihrer Mitte.
50 at Yahweh's command, they gave him the town which he had asked for, Timnath-Serah in thehighlands of Ephraim; he rebuilt the town and settled there.	50 Auf Befehl des Herrn gaben sie ihm die Stadt, die er sich erbeten hatte: Timnat-Serach im Gebirge Efraim. Er baute die Stadt wieder auf und wohnte dort.
51 Such are the heritages which the priest Eleazar, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of each familyapportioned by lot between the tribes of Israel at Shiloh, in Yahweh's presence, at the door of the Tent ofMeeting; and thus the apportioning of the country was completed.	51 Das sind die erblichen Anteile, die der Priester Eleasar und Josua, der Sohn Nuns, und die Häupter der Großfamilien der Israeliten in Schilo vor den Augen des Herrn, am Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes, den Stämmen der Israeliten durch das Los zuteilten. Dann waren sie mit der Verteilung des Landes fertig.
