1 The second lot to come out was for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans; their heritagewas within the heritage of the sons of Judah.	1 Le sort attribua la deuxième part à Siméon, aux clans de la tribu de Siméon: leur héritage se trouva au milieu de celui de Juda.
2 As heritage, they received:	2 Ils reçurent en héritage Bersabée, Chéma, Molada,
3 Beersheba, Shema, Moladah,	3 Hasar-Choual, Bala, Ésem,
4 Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem, Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,	4 Eltolad, Bétoul, Horma,
5 Ziklag, Beth-ha-Marcaboth, Hazar-Susa,	5 Siklag, Beth-Ha-Markabot, Hasar-Sousa,
6 Beth-Lebaoth and Sharuhen: thirteen towns and their vil ages.	6 Beth-Lébaot et Charouhen: 13 villes et leurs villages.
7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether and Ashan: four towns and their villages,	7 Ayin, Rimmon, Éter, Achan: quatre villes et leurs villages,
8 with al the vil ages situated near these towns as far as Baalath-Beer and Ramah of the Negeb. Suchwas the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans.	8 et de plus tous les villages qui les entouraient jusqu’à Baalat-Ber et Rama du Négueb; voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu de Siméon.
9 The heritage of the sons of Simeon was taken out of the portion of the sons of Judah, because theshare of the sons of Judah was too large for them; hence, the sons of Simeon received their heritage within theheritage of the sons of Judah.	9 On préleva l’héritage de Siméon sur le lot de Juda, car la part de Juda était trop grande pour lui. La tribu de Siméon reçut donc son héritage au milieu de l’héritage de Juda.
10 The third lot fel to the sons of Zebulun, by clans; the territory of their heritage stretched as far asSadud;	10 Le sort attribua la troisième part aux clans de Zabulon. Le territoire qu’ils reçurent en héritage s’étendait jusqu’à Sadoud.
11 their frontier climbed westwards to Maraalah, touching Dabbesheth and the torrent facing Jokneam.	11 Leur frontière montait à l’ouest vers Maraala, elle passait à côté de Tabechet et du Torrent qui est en face de Yoknéam.
12 From Sadud, the frontier turned east, towards the rising sun, as far as the frontier of Chisloth-Tabor; itcame out at Dobrath and went up to Japhia.	12 À partir de Sadoud, la frontière tournait vers l’est du côté du soleil levant. Elle atteignait Kislot-Tabor, passait près de Dabérat et montait à Yafia.
13 Thence, it went east, towards the sunrise, to Gath-Hepher and Ittah-Kazin, came out at Rimmon andturned towards Neah.	13 À partir de là, elle s’étendait vers l’est au levant, vers Gat-Héfer et Itta-Kasin. Elle touchait alors Rimmon et arrivait dans les environs de Néa.
14 The northern frontier turned towards Hannathon and came to an end in the Val ey of Iphtah-El;	14 Puis la frontière faisait un détour vers le nord, en direction de Hannaton et arrivait à la vallée de Yifta-El.
15 with Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Iralah and Bethlehem: twelve towns with their villages.	15 Il y avait là Katat, Nahalal, Chimron, Yiréala et Bethléem: 12 villes et leurs villages;
16 Such was the heritage of the sons of Zebulun, by clans: these towns with their vil ages.	16 voilà l’héritage des clans de Zabulon, avec ses villes et ses villages.
17 The fourth lot came out for Issachar, for the sons of Issachar, by clans.	17 Le sort attribua la quatrième part à Issacar, aux clans de la tribu d’Issacar.
18 Their territory stretched towards Jezreel and included Chesul oth, Shunem,	18 Leur territoire s’étendait vers Yizréel, il comptait Késoulot, Chounem,
19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,	19 Hafarayim, Chion, Anaharat,
20 Dobrath, Kishion, Ebez,	20 Dabérat, Kichyon, Ébès,
21 Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah and Beth-Pazzez.	21 Rémet, En-Gannim, En-Hadda et Beth-Passés.
22 Their frontier touched Tabor, Shahazimah and Beth-Shemesh, and the frontier came to an end at theJordan: sixteen towns with their vil ages.	22 Touchant Thabor, Chahasima et Beth-Chémech, la frontière arrivait au Jourdain: 16 villes et leurs villages.
23 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.	23 Voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu d’Issacar avec ses villes et ses villages.
24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans.	24 Le sort attribua la cinquième part aux clans de la tribu d’Asher.
25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,	25 Leur territoire comptait Helkat, Hali, Béten, Akchaf,
26 Alammelech, Amad and Mishal.	26 Alammélek, Améad et Michéal. À l’ouest il touchait le Carmel et le lit du Libnat.
27 On the west, it touched Carmel and the course of the Libnath. On the side of the rising sun, it went asfar as Beth-Dagon, touched Zebulun, the Val ey of Iphtah-El on the north side, Beth-ha-Emek and Neiel, comingout with Cabul on the left,	27 Du côté du soleil levant, il allait jusqu’à Beth-Dagon; il touchait Zabulon, la vallée de Yifta-El, Beth-Ha-Émek et Néïel, au nord de Kaboul.
28 with Abdon, Rehob, Hammon and Kanah as far as Sidon the Great. The frontier then turned towardsRamah, as far as the fortress-town of Tyre;	28 Il comprenait Abdon, Réhob, Hammon et Kana, jusqu’à Sidon-la-Grande. La frontière allait vers Rama et jusqu’à la ville fortifiée de Tyr.
29 the frontier then went to Hosah and reached as far as the sea at Mahalab and Achzib,	29 Ensuite, elle gagnait Hosa et aboutissait à la mer, à la hauteur de Mahaleb et Akzib,
30 with Acco, Aphek and Rehob: twenty-two towns with their vil ages.	30 avec Akko, Afek et Réhob: 22 villes et leurs villages.
31 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans; these towns and their vil ages.	31 Voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu d’Asher, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.
32 To the sons of Naphtali fel the sixth portion, to the sons of Naphtali, by clans.	32 Le sort attribua la sixième part à Nephtali, aux clans de la tribu de Nephtali.
33 Their frontier went from Heleph and the Oak of Zanaannim, with Adami-ha-Negeb and Jabneel, as faras Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan.	33 Partant de Hélef et du Chêne de Saanannim, leur frontière passait à Adami-Ha-Nékeb et Yabnéel, Lakoum et arrivait au Jourdain.
34 The westward boundary ran to Aznoth-Tabor and thence came out at Hukkok, marching with Zebulunin the south, Asher in the west and the Jordan in the east.	34 La frontière passait à l’ouest par Aznot-Tabor, par Houkok et touchait Zabulon au sud et Asher à l’ouest, le Jourdain formait la frontière orientale.
35 The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,	35 Les villes étaient Siddim, Ser, Hammat, Rakat, Kinnéret,
36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,	36 Adama, Rama, Haçor,
37 Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,	37 Qédesh, Édréï, En-Haçor,
38 Jiron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath and Beth-Shemesh: nineteen towns and their vil ages.	38 Yiréon, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anat et Beth-Chémech: 19 villes et leurs villages.
39 Such was the heritage of the sons of Naphtali, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.	39 Voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu de Nephtali, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.
40 To the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans, fel the seventh portion.	40 Le sort attribua la septième part aux clans de Dan.
41 The territory of their heritage comprised: Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,	41 Le territoire qu’ils reçurent comprenait Soréa, Echtaol, Ir-Chémech,
42 Shaalbim, Aijalon, Silatha,	42 Chaalbim, Ayyalon, Silata,

44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon,	44 Elteké, Guibéton, Baalat,
45 Baalath, Azor, Bene-Berak and Gath-Rimmon;	45 Azor, Béné-Pérak et Gat-Rimmon;
46 and, by the sea, Jerakon with the territory facing Jaffa.	46 vers la mer, Yérakon avec le territoire qui fait face à Joppé.
47 The territory of the sons of Dan eluded them, however, and the sons of Dan consequently went upand attacked Leshem, captured it and put it to the sword. Having gained possession of it, they settled there andcal ed Leshem, Dan, after Dan their ancestor.	47 Mais la tribu de Dan ne sut pas s’emparer de son territoire. C’est pourquoi ses clans montèrent combattre Léchem; ils s’en emparèrent et la passèrent au fil de l’épée. Après la prise de Léchem, ils s’y installèrent et lui donnèrent le nom de Dan, celui de leur ancêtre.
48 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans: these towns and their vil ages.	48 Voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu de Dan, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.
49 Having finished dividing the country, frontier by frontier, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun aheritage among themselves;	49 Le partage du pays avec ses frontières était terminé. Alors les Israélites donnèrent à Josué, fils de Noun, un héritage au milieu d’eux.
50 at Yahweh's command, they gave him the town which he had asked for, Timnath-Serah in thehighlands of Ephraim; he rebuilt the town and settled there.	50 Selon l’ordre de Yahvé, ils lui donnèrent la ville qu’il avait demandée: Timnat-Séra, dans la montagne d’Éphraïm. Il reconstruisit la ville et s’y installa.
51 Such are the heritages which the priest Eleazar, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of each familyapportioned by lot between the tribes of Israel at Shiloh, in Yahweh's presence, at the door of the Tent ofMeeting; and thus the apportioning of the country was completed.	51 Ce sont là les parts d’héritage que le prêtre Éléazar, Josué fils de Noun et les chefs de clans, répartirent par le sort entre les tribus d’Israël. C’était à Silo, en présence de Yahvé à l’entrée de la Tente du Rendez-Vous. Ainsi s’acheva le partage du pays.
