1 Now Joshua had grown old and advanced in years. Yahweh said to him, 'You are now old andadvanced in years, yet there is stil a great deal of territory left to be taken possession of.	1 Mivel Józsue már öreg és élemedett korú volt, azt mondta neki az Úr: »megöregedtél és koros vagy és igen terjedelmes föld maradt hátra, amely még nincs kisorsolva:
2 This is al the territory left: 'Al the districts of the Philistines and the whole country of the Geshurites;	2 tudniillik a filiszteusok egész Galileája és az egész Gessúri,

7 The time has come to divide this territory as a heritage between the nine tribes and the half-tribe ofManasseh: from the Jordan as far as the Great Sea in the west, you must give it them; the Great Sea wil betheir limit.'	7 és oszd el most ezt a földet a kilenc törzsnek és Manassze ezen fél törzsének birtokul.«
8 As regards the other half-tribe of Manasseh, this and the Reubenites and Gadites had already receivedtheir heritage, given them by Moses on the further, eastern side of the Jordan, the one which Moses, servant ofYahweh, had already given them:	8 Rúben és Gád már megkapták földjüket, amelyet Mózes, az Úr szolgája adott nekik, a Jordán folyón túl, a keleti oldalon:

12 and in Bashan, the whole kingdom of Og, who had reigned in Ashtaroth and Edrei, and was the lastof the survivors of the Rephaim. Moses had conquered and dispossessed these two kings.	12 Ógnak egész básáni birodalmát. 21 al the towns on the tableland and the entire kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who had reignedin Heshbon; he had been defeated by Moses, and with him the princes of Midian, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur andReba, vassals of Sihon, formerly living in the country.	21 és a síkság valamennyi városa; mindez Szihonnak, az amoriták azon királyának a birodalma volt, aki Hesbonban lakott s akit Mózes a mádiánita fejedelmekkel, Hivvitával, Rekemmel, Szúrral, Húrral és Rebével, Szihon vezéreivel, annak a földnek lakóival együtt megvert;
22 As regards Balaam son of Beor, the soothsayer, the Israelites had put him to the sword with thosewhom they had kil ed.	22 Bálámot, Beor fiát, a jóst is megölték Izrael fiai karddal, a többi megöltekkel együtt.
23 The boundary of the Reubenites was the Jordan and its territory. Such was the heritage of the sons ofReuben, by clans, with the towns and vil ages belonging to them.	23 Rúben fiainak határa a Jordán folyó lett. Ez a rúbeniták birtoka, nemzetségeikhez mérten, ezek városaik és falvaik.
24 Moses had given the tribe of Gad, the sons of Gad, a share by clans.	24 Gád törzsének és fiainak is adott Mózes birtokot, nemzetségeikhez mérten; ennek ez a felosztása,
25 Their territory was Jazer, al the towns of Gilead, half the country of the Ammonites as far as Aroerfacing Rabbah,	25 területe: Jázer, tovább Gileád valamennyi városa, meg Ammon fiai földjének a fele addig az Ároerig, amely Rábbával szemben van

27 and in the val ey: Beth-Haram, Beth-Nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon -- the rest of the kingdom of Sihonking of Heshbon -- the Jordan and the territory running to the tip of the Sea of Chinneroth, on the further, easternside of the Jordan.	27 a völgyben pedig Béthárán, Bétnemra, Szukkót, Száfon – Szihon heseboni király országának többi része. Ennek is a Jordán a határa, egészen a Kinneret tengernek a Jordánon túl a keleti oldalon levő széléig.
28 Such was the heritage of the sons of Gad, by clans, with their towns and vil ages belonging to them.	28 Ez Gád fiainak, nemzetségeikhez mért birtoka, ezek a városok és falvaik.
29 Moses had given the half-tribe of Manasseh a share by clans.	29 Manassze törzse felének és fiainak is adott birtokot, nemzetségeikhez mérten.
30 Their territory, starting from Mahanaim, was the whole of Bashan, the entire kingdom of Og king ofBashan, all the Encampments of Jair in Bashan: sixty towns.	30 Ennek területe lett Maniámtól kiindulva az egész Básán, azaz Ógnak, Básán királyának egész országa, így Jaír valamennyi faluja, amely Básánban van, hatvan város,
31 Half of Gilead, with Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the royal cities of Og in Bashan, were al otted to the sons ofMachir son of Manasseh, to half of the sons of Machir, by clans.	31 és Gileádnak a fele és Astarót és Edrái, Óg básáni országának fővárosai.
