Philippians 3

1 Finally, brothers, I wish you joy in the Lord. To write to you what I have already written before is notrouble to me and to you will be a protection.	1 ובכן אחי שמחו באדנינו הן לכתב ולשנות כזאת אליכם עלי איננו לטרח ולכם הוא לחזוק
2 Beware of dogs! Beware of evil workmen! Beware of self-mutilators!	2 הזהרו מן הכלבים הזהרו מן הפעלים הרעים הזהרו מן החתוך
3 We are the true people of the circumcision since we worship by the Spirit of God and make Christ Jesusour only boast, not relying on physical qualifications,	3 כי אנחנו בני המילה העבדים את האלהים ברוח ומתפארים במשיח ישוע ואיננו בטחים בבשר
4 although, I myself could rely on these too. If anyone does claim to rely on them, my claim is better.	4 אף כי גם לי יש לבטח בבשר ואם יחשב איש שיוכל לבטח בבשר הנה אני יותר ממנו
5 Circumcised on the eighth day of my life, I was born of the race of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, aHebrew born of Hebrew parents. In the matter of the Law, I was a Pharisee;	5 אשר אני נמול בן שמונת ימים מבני ישראל משבט בנימין עברי מן העברים
6 as for religious fervour, I was a persecutor of the Church; as for the uprightness embodied in the Law, Iwas faultless.	6 לפי התורה פרוש בקנאתי רדף את העדה ולפי צדקת התורה בלי שמץ
7 But what were once my assets I now through Christ Jesus count as losses.	7 אך היתרנות האלה כלן חשבתי לי לחסרנות למען המשיח
8 Yes, I wil go further: because of the supreme advantage of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, I counteverything else as loss. For him I have accepted the loss of al other things, and look on them all as filth if only Ican gain Christ	8 וגם עודני חשב את כלן לחסרון לעמת מעלת ידיעת ישוע המשיח אדני אשר בעבורו חסרתי את נפשי מכל אלה ואחשבם לסחי להרויח את המשיח ולהמצא בו
9 and be given a place in him, with the uprightness I have gained not from the Law, but through faith inChrist, an uprightness from God, based on faith,	9 ולא תהיה לי צדקתי מתוך התורה כי אם באמונת המשיח הצדקה הבאה מאת האלהים באמונה
10 that I may come to know him and the power of his resurrection, and partake of his sufferings by beingmoulded to the pattern of his death,	10 לדעת אתו ואת גבורת תחיתו והתחברות ענוייו ולהדמות למותו
11 striving towards the goal of resurrection from the dead.	11 להגיע אם אוכל אל תחית המתים
12 Not that I have secured it already, nor yet reached my goal, but I am stil pursuing it in the attempt totake hold of the prize for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.	12 לא כאלו השגתי כבר או כאלו השלמתי אבל ארדף אולי אשיג כאשר גם השיגני המשיח ישוע
13 Brothers, I do not reckon myself as having taken hold of it; I can only say that forgetting al that liesbehind me, and straining forward to what lies in front,	13 אחי אינני חשב כי כבר השגתי אך אחת דברתי כי שכח אני את אשר מאחרי ואשתטח אל אשר לפני
14 I am racing towards the finishing-point to win the prize of God's heavenly call in Christ Jesus.	14 וארדף את מטרת שכר הנצחון אשר הוא בקריאה של מעלה מאת האלהים במשיח ישוע
15 So this is the way in which al of us who are mature should be thinking, and if you are still thinkingdifferently in any way, then God has yet to make this matter clear to you.	15 לכן מי שהוא שלם בנו כן יחשב ואם תחשבו מחשבה אחרת גם זאת יגלה לכם האלהים
16 Meanwhile, let us go forward from the point we have each attained.	16 רק נתהלכה באשר הגענו עדיה במעגל אחד יבלב אחד
17 Brothers, be united in imitating me. Keep your eyes fixed on those who act according to the exampleyou have from me.	17 אחי היו חברים להלכים אחרי והביטו אל המתהלכים כן כאשר אנחנו מופת לכם
18 For there are so many people of whom I have often warned you, and now I warn you again with tearsin my eyes, who behave like the enemies of Christ's cross.	18 כי רבים המתהלכים כן כאשר אנחנו מופת לכם
19 They are destined to be lost; their god is the stomach; they glory in what they should think shameful,since their minds are set on earthly things.	19 כי רבים המתהלכים אשר עליהם אמרתי לכם פעמים הרבה ועתה גם בבכי אני אמר כי הם איבי צלב המשיח
20 But our homeland is in heaven and it is from there that we are expecting a Saviour, the Lord JesusChrist,	20 אשר אחריתם האבדון אשר כרסם אלהיהם וכבודם בבשתם וקרבם הבלי חלד
21 who wil transfigure the wretched body of ours into the mould of his glorious body, through the workingof the power which he has, even to bring all things under his mastery.	21 כי אזרחותנו בשמים היא ומשם מחכים אנחנו למושיענו אדנינו ישוע המשיח׃ [ (Philippians 3:22) אשר יחליף את גוף שפלותנו להיותו דומה לגוף כבודו כפי כח יכלתו לכבש הכל תחתיו׃ ]
