Philippians 1

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all God's holy people in Christ Jesus at Philippi, togetherwith their presiding elders and the deacons.	1 بولس وتيموثاوس عبدا يسوع المسيح الى جميع القديسين في المسيح يسوع الذين في فيلبي مع اساقفة وشمامسة.
2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.	2 نعمة لكم وسلام من الله ابينا والرب يسوع المسيح
3 I thank my God whenever I think of you,	3 اشكر الهي عند كل ذكري اياكم
4 and every time I pray for you al , I always pray with joy	4 دائما في كل ادعيتي مقدما الطلبة لاجل جميعكم بفرح
5 for your partnership in the gospel from the very first day up to the present.	5 لسبب مشاركتكم في الانجيل من اول يوم الى الآن
6 I am quite confident that the One who began a good work in you wil go on completing it until the Day ofJesus Christ comes.	6 واثقا بهذا عينه ان الذي ابتدأ فيكم عملا صالحا يكمل الى يوم يسوع المسيح.
7 It is only right that I should feel like this towards you all, because you have a place in my heart, sinceyou have all shared together in the grace that has been mine, both my chains and my work defending andestablishing the gospel.	7 كما يحق لي ان افتكر هذا من جهة جميعكم لاني حافظكم في قلبي في وثقي وفي المحاماة عن الانجيل وتثبيته انتم الذين جميعكم شركائي في النعمة.
8 For God wil testify for me how much I long for you al with the warm longing of Christ Jesus;	8 فان الله شاهد لي كيف اشتاق الى جميعكم في احشاء يسوع المسيح.
9 it is my prayer that your love for one another may grow more and more with the knowledge andcomplete understanding	9 وهذا اصلّيه ان تزداد محبتكم ايضا اكثر فاكثر في المعرفة وفي كل فهم
10 that will help you to come to true discernment, so that you wil be innocent and free of any trace of guiltwhen the Day of Christ comes,	10 حتى تميّزوا الامور المتخالفة لكي تكونوا مخلصين وبلا عثرة الى يوم المسيح
11 entirely fil ed with the fruits of uprightness through Jesus Christ, for the glory and praise of God.	11 مملوئين من ثمر البر الذي بيسوع المسيح لمجد الله وحمده
12 Now I want you to realise, brothers, that the circumstances of my present life are helping rather thanhindering the advance of the gospel.	12 ثم اريد ان تعلموا ايها الاخوة ان اموري قد آلت اكثر الى تقدم الانجيل
13 My chains in Christ have become wel known not only to al the Praetorium, but to everybody else,	13 حتى ان وثقي صارت ظاهرة في المسيح في كل دار الولاية وفي باقي الاماكن اجمع.
14 and so most of the brothers in the Lord have gained confidence from my chains and are getting moreand more daring in announcing the Message without any fear.	14 واكثر الاخوة وهم واثقون في الرب بوثقي يجترئون اكثر على التكلم بالكلمة بلا خوف.
15 It is true that some of them are preaching Christ out of malice and rivalry; but there are many as welwhose intentions are good;	15 اما قوم فعن حسد وخصام يكرزون بالمسيح واما قوم فعن مسرة.
16 some are doing it out of love, knowing that I remain firm in my defence of the gospel.	16 فهؤلاء عن تحزب ينادون بالمسيح لا عن اخلاص ظانين انهم يضيفون الى وثقي ضيقا.
17 There are others who are proclaiming Christ out of jealousy, not in sincerity but meaning to add to theweight of my chains.	17 واولئك عن محبة عالمين اني موضوع لحماية الانجيل.
18 But what does it matter? Only that in both ways, whether with false motives or true, Christ isproclaimed, and for that I am happy;	18 فماذا. غير انه على كل وجه سواء كان بعلّة ام بحق ينادى بالمسيح وبهذا انا افرح. بل سافرح ايضا
19 and I shal go on being happy, too, because I know that this is what wil save me, with your prayers andwith the support of the Spirit of Jesus Christ;	19 لاني اعلم ان هذا يأول لي الى خلاص بطلبتكم وموازرة روح يسوع المسيح
20 al in accordance with my most confident hope and trust that I shal never have to admit defeat, but withcomplete fearlessness I shall go on, so that now, as always, Christ wil be glorified in my body, whether by mylife or my death.	20 حسب انتظاري ورجائي اني لا اخزى في شيء بل بكل مجاهرة كما في كل حين كذلك الآن يتعظم المسيح في جسدي سواء كان بحياة ام بموت.
21 Life to me, of course, is Christ, but then death would be a positive gain.	21 لان لي الحياة هي المسيح والموت هو ربح.
22 On the other hand again, if to be alive in the body gives me an opportunity for fruitful work, I do notknow which I should choose.	22 ولكن ان كانت الحياة في الجسد هي لي ثمر عملي فماذا اختار لست ادري.
23 I am caught in this dilemma: I want to be gone and to be with Christ, and this is by far the strongerdesire-	23 فاني محصور من الاثنين. لي اشتهاء ان انطلق واكون مع المسيح. ذاك افضل جدا.
24 and yet for your sake to stay alive in this body is a more urgent need.	24 ولكن ان ابقى في الجسد الزم من اجلكم.
25 This much I know for certain, that I shal stay and stand by you al , to encourage your advance andyour joy in the faith,	25 فاذ انا واثق بهذا اعلم اني امكث وابقى مع جميعكم لاجل تقدمكم وفرحكم في الايمان
26 so that my return to be among you may increase to overflowing your pride in Jesus Christ on myaccount.	26 لكي يزداد افتخاركم في المسيح يسوع فيّ بواسطة حضوري ايضا عندكم
27 But you must always behave in a way that is worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come toyou and see for myself or whether I only hear al about you from a distance, I shall find that you are standing firmand united in spirit, battling, as a team with a single aim, for the faith of the gospel,	27 فقط عيشوا كما يحق لانجيل المسيح حتى اذا جئت ورأيتكم او كنت غائبا اسمع اموركم انكم تثبتون في روح واحد مجاهدين معا بنفس واحدة لايمان الانجيل
28 undismayed by any of your opponents. This will be a clear sign, for them that they are to be lost, andfor you that you are to be saved.	28 غير مخوّفين بشيء من المقاومين الامر الذي هو لهم بيّنة للهلاك واما لكم فللخلاص وذلك من الله.
29 This comes from God, for you have been granted the privilege for Christ's sake not only of believing inhim but of suffering for him as wel ;	29 لانه قد وهب لكم لاجل المسيح لا ان تؤمنوا به فقط بل ايضا ان تتألموا لاجله.
30 you are fighting the same battle which you saw me fighting for him and which you hear I am fightingstill.	30 اذ لكم الجهاد عينه الذي رأيتموه فيّ والآن تسمعون فيّ
