1 About the gifts of the Spirit, brothers, I want you to be quite certain.	1 A lelki adományokra nézve pedig, testvérek, nem akarom, hogy tudatlanok legyetek.
2 You remember that, when you were pagans, you were irresistibly drawn to inarticulate heathen gods.	2 Tudjátok, hogy amikor pogányok voltatok, a néma bálványokhoz vonzódtatok.
3 Because of that, I want to make it quite clear to you that no one who says 'A curse on Jesus' can bespeaking in the Spirit of God, and nobody is able to say, 'Jesus is Lord' except in the Holy Spirit.	3 Ezért tudtotokra adom, hogy senki, aki Isten Lelke által szól, nem mondja: »Átkozott legyen Jézus!«, és senki sem mondhatja: »Jézus az Úr«, csakis a Szentlélek által.
4 There are many different gifts, but it is always the same Spirit;	4 A kegyelmi adományok különfélék ugyan, de a Lélek ugyanaz.
5 there are many different ways of serving, but it is always the same Lord.	5 A szolgálatok is különfélék, de az Úr ugyanaz.
6 There are many different forms of activity, but in everybody it is the same God who is at work in themal .	6 És az erőmegnyilvánulások is különfélék, de Isten, aki mindezt mindenkiben cselekszi, ugyanaz.
7 The particular manifestation of the Spirit granted to each one is to be used for the general good.	7 A Lélek megnyilvánulásait mindenki azért kapja, hogy használjon vele.
8 To one is given from the Spirit the gift of utterance expressing wisdom; to another the gift of utteranceexpressing knowledge, in accordance with the same Spirit;	8 Egyik a bölcsesség szavait kapja a Lélek által, a másik a tudományét ugyanattól a Lélektől.
9 to another, faith, from the same Spirit; and to another, the gifts of healing, through this one Spirit;	9 Más valaki a hitet kapja ugyanabban a Lélekben, ismét más a gyógyítások adományát az egy Lélek által,
10 to another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, the power of distinguishingspirits; to one, the gift of different tongues and to another, the interpretation of tongues.	10 vagy csodatévő hatalmat, prófétálást, a szellemek megkülönböztetését, a nyelveken való beszédet vagy a nyelveken való beszéd értelmezését.
11 But at work in al these is one and the same Spirit, distributing them at wil to each individual.	11 Ezt mind egy és ugyanaz a Lélek műveli, tetszése szerint osztva kinek-kinek.
12 For as with the human body which is a unity although it has many parts -- al the parts of the body,though many, stil making up one single body -- so it is with Christ.	12 Mert amint a test egy, bár sok tagja van, a testnek pedig minden tagja, bár sok, mégis egy test, úgy Krisztus is.
13 We were baptised into one body in a single Spirit, Jews as wel as Greeks, slaves as wel as freemen, and we were all given the same Spirit to drink.	13 Mi ugyanis mindnyájan egy Lélekben egy testté keresztelkedtünk, akár zsidók, akár görögök, akár szolgák, akár szabadok; és mindnyájunkat egy Lélek itatott át.
14 And indeed the body consists not of one member but of many.	14 Mert a test sem egy tag, hanem sok.
15 If the foot were to say, 'I am not a hand and so I do not belong to the body,' it does not belong to thebody any the less for that.	15 Ha azt mondaná a láb: »Nem vagyok kéz, nem vagyok a test része«, vajon akkor nem lenne a test része?
16 Or if the ear were to say, 'I am not an eye, and so I do not belong to the body,' that would not stop itsbelonging to the body.	16 És ha azt mondaná a fül: »Nem vagyok szem, nem vagyok a test része«, vajon akkor nem lenne a test része?
17 If the whole body were just an eye, how would there be any hearing? If the whole body were hearing,how would there be any smel ing?	17 Ha az egész test szem volna, hol lenne a hallás? Ha az egész test hallás volna, hol lenne a szaglás?
18 As it is, God has put al the separate parts into the body as he chose.	18 Már pedig Isten helyezte el a tagokat a testben, egyenként mindegyiket, amint akarta.
19 If they were al the same part, how could it be a body?	19 Ha valamennyi egy tag volna, hol volna a test?
20 As it is, the parts are many but the body is one.	20 Márpedig sok ugyan a tag, de a test egy.
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, 'I have no need of you,' and nor can the head say to the feet, 'I haveno need of you.'	21 Nem mondhatja a szem a kéznek: »Nincs rád szükségem!«, sem a fej a lábaknak: »Nincs rátok szükségem!«
22 What is more, it is precisely the parts of the body that seem to be the weakest which are theindispensable ones.	22 Sőt a test gyöngébbnek látszó tagjai sokkal inkább szükségesek,
23 It is the parts of the body which we consider least dignified that we surround with the greatest dignity;and our less presentable parts are given greater presentability	23 és a test kevésbé nemesnek tartott tagjait nagyobb tisztességgel vesszük körül. Tisztességtelen tagjainknak nagyobb tisztességük van,
24 which our presentable parts do not need. God has composed the body so that greater dignity isgiven to the parts which were without it,	24 tisztességes tagjainknak viszont nincs erre szükségük. De Isten azért alkotta úgy a testet, hogy amelyik tagnak nem volt, annak nagyobb tisztességet adott,
25 and so that there may not be disagreements inside the body but each part may be equal y concernedfor all the others.	25 hogy ne legyen meghasonlás a testben, hanem a tagok egymásért kölcsönösen szorgoskodjanak.
26 If one part is hurt, al the parts share its pain. And if one part is honoured, all the parts share its joy.	26 Ha tehát az egyik tag szenved, vele együtt szenved valamennyi tag; vagy ha az egyik tag tiszteletben részesül, együtt örvendezik vele valamennyi tag.
27 Now Christ's body is yourselves, each of you with a part to play in the whole.	27 Ti pedig Krisztus teste vagytok, és egyenként tagjai.
28 And those whom God has appointed in the Church are, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdlyteachers; after them, miraculous powers, then gifts of healing, helpful acts, guidance, various kinds of tongues.	28 Az egyházban Isten egyeseket először is apostolokká tett, másodszor prófétákká, harmadszor tanítókká; másoknak csodatevő erőt adott, vagy a gyógyítás, segélynyújtás, kormányzás és a nyelveken való szólás adományát.
29 Are al of them apostles? Or all prophets? Or all teachers? Or al miracle-workers?	29 Vajon mindnyájan apostolok? Vajon mindnyájan próféták? Vajon mindnyájan tanítók? Vajon mindnyájan csodatevők?
30 Do al have the gifts of healing? Do al of them speak in tongues and al interpret them?	30 Vajon mindnyájuknak megvan a gyógyítás adománya? Vajon mindnyájan szólnak nyelveken? Vajon mindnyájan értelmezik azt?
31 Set your mind on the higher gifts. And now I am going to put before you the best way of all.	31 Ti azonban törekedjetek a nagyobb adományokra! Ezen felül egy mindennél kiválóbb utat mutatok nektek.
