New Jerusalem Bible	Tysiąclecia
¹ On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there,	¹ Trzeciego dnia odbywało się wesele w Kanie Galilejskiej i była tam Matka Jezusa.
² and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited.	² Zaproszono na to wesele także Jezusa i Jego uczniów.
³ And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had al been used, and the mother ofJesus said to him, 'They have no wine.'	³ A kiedy zabrakło wina, Matka Jezusa mówi do Niego: Nie mają już wina.
⁴ Jesus said, 'Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.'	⁴ Jezus Jej odpowiedział: Czyż to moja lub Twoja sprawa, Niewiasto? Czyż jeszcze nie nadeszła godzina moja?
⁵ His mother said to the servants, 'Do whatever he tells you.'	⁵ Wtedy Matka Jego powiedziała do sług: Zróbcie wszystko, cokolwiek wam powie.
⁶ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among theJews: each could hold twenty or thirty gal ons.	⁶ Stało zaś tam sześć stągwi kamiennych przeznaczonych do żydowskich oczyszczeń, z których każda mogła pomieścić dwie lub trzy miary.
⁷ Jesus said to the servants, 'Fil the jars with water,' and they fil ed them to the brim.	⁷ Rzekł do nich Jezus: Napełnijcie stągwie wodą! I napełnili je aż po brzegi.
⁸ Then he said to them, 'Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.'	⁸ Potem do nich powiedział: Zaczerpnijcie teraz i zanieście staroście weselnemu! Oni zaś zanieśli.
⁹ They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it camefrom -- though the servants who had drawn the water knew -- the president of the feast cal ed the bridegroom	⁹ A gdy starosta weselny skosztował wody, która stała się winem - nie wiedział bowiem, skąd ono pochodzi, ale słudzy, którzy czerpali wodę, wiedzieli - przywołał pana młodego
¹⁰ and said, 'Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are wel wined; butyou have kept the best wine til now.'	¹⁰ i powiedział do niego: Każdy człowiek stawia najpierw dobre wino, a gdy się napiją, wówczas gorsze. Ty zachowałeś dobre wino aż do tej pory.
¹¹ This was the first of Jesus' signs: it was at Cana in Galilee. He revealed his glory, and his disciplesbelieved in him.	¹¹ Taki to początek znaków uczynił Jezus w Kanie Galilejskiej. Objawił swoją chwałę i uwierzyli w Niego Jego uczniowie.

¹⁵ Making a whip out of cord, he drove them al out of the Temple, sheep and cattle as wel , scattered themoney changers' coins, knocked their tables over	¹⁵ Wówczas sporządziwszy sobie bicz ze sznurków, powypędzał wszystkich ze świątyni, także baranki i woły, porozrzucał monety bankierów, a stoły powywracał.
¹⁶ and said to the dove sel ers, 'Take all this out of here and stop using my Father's house as a market.'	¹⁶ Do tych zaś, którzy sprzedawali gołębie, rzekł: Weźcie to stąd, a z domu mego Ojca nie róbcie targowiska!
¹⁷ Then his disciples remembered the words of scripture: I am eaten up with zeal for your house.	¹⁷ Uczniowie Jego przypomnieli sobie, że napisano: Gorliwość o dom Twój pochłonie Mnie.
¹⁸ The Jews intervened and said, 'What sign can you show us that you should act like this?'	¹⁸ W odpowiedzi zaś na to Żydzi rzekli do Niego: Jakim znakiem wykażesz się wobec nas, skoro takie rzeczy czynisz?
¹⁹ Jesus answered, 'Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up.'	¹⁹ Jezus dał im taką odpowiedź: Zburzcie tę świątynię, a Ja w trzech dniach wzniosę ją na nowo.
²⁰ The Jews replied, 'It has taken forty-six years to build this Temple: are you going to raise it up again inthree days?'	²⁰ Powiedzieli do Niego Żydzi: Czterdzieści sześć lat budowano tę świątynię, a Ty ją wzniesiesz w przeciągu trzech dni?
²¹ But he was speaking of the Temple that was his body,	²¹ On zaś mówił o świątyni swego ciała.
²² and when Jesus rose from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believedthe scripture and what he had said.	²² Gdy więc zmartwychwstał, przypomnieli sobie uczniowie Jego, że to powiedział, i uwierzyli Pismu i słowu, które wyrzekł Jezus.
²³ During his stay in Jerusalem for the feast of the Passover many believed in his name when they sawthe signs that he did,	²³ Kiedy zaś przebywał w Jerozolimie w czasie Paschy, w dniu świątecznym, wielu uwierzyło w imię Jego, widząc znaki, które czynił.
²⁴ but Jesus knew al people and did not trust himself to them;	²⁴ Jezus natomiast nie zwierzał się im, bo wszystkich znał
²⁵ he never needed evidence about anyone; he could tell what someone had within.	²⁵ i nie potrzebował niczyjego świadectwa o człowieku. Sam bowiem wiedział, co w człowieku się kryje.
