Matthew 28

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 After the Sabbath, and towards dawn on the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala and the other Marywent to visit the sepulchre.	1 وبعد السبت عند فجر اول الاسبوع جاءت مريم المجدلية ومريم الاخرى لتنظرا القبر.
2 And suddenly there was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord, descending from heaven, cameand rol ed away the stone and sat on it.	2 واذا زلزلة عظيمة حدثت. لان ملاك الرب نزل من السماء وجاء ودحرج الحجر عن الباب وجلس عليه.
3 His face was like lightning, his robe white as snow.	3 وكان منظره كالبرق ولباسه ابيض كالثلج.
4 The guards were so shaken by fear of him that they were like dead men.	4 فمن خوفه ارتعد الحراس وصاروا كاموات.
5 But the angel spoke; and he said to the women, 'There is no need for you to be afraid. I know you arelooking for Jesus, who was crucified.	5 فاجاب الملاك وقال للمرأتين لا تخافا انتما. فاني اعلم انكما تطلبان يسوع المصلوب.
6 He is not here, for he has risen, as he said he would. Come and see the place where he lay,	6 ليس هو ههنا لانه قام كما قال. هلم انظرا الموضع الذي كان الرب مضطجعا فيه.
7 then go quickly and tel his disciples, "He has risen from the dead and now he is going ahead of you toGalilee; that is where you wil see him." Look! I have told you.'	7 واذهبا سريعا قولا لتلاميذه انه قد قام من الاموات. ها هو يسبقكم الى الجليل. هناك ترونه. ها انا قد قلت لكما.
8 Fil ed with awe and great joy the women came quickly away from the tomb and ran to tel his disciples.	8 فخرجتا سريعا من القبر بخوف وفرح عظيم راكضتين لتخبرا تلاميذه.
9 And suddenly, coming to meet them, was Jesus. 'Greetings,' he said. And the women came up to himand, clasping his feet, they did him homage.	9 وفيما هما منطلقتان لتخبرا تلاميذه اذا يسوع لاقاهما وقال سلام لكما. فتقدمتا وامسكتا بقدميه وسجدتا له.
10 Then Jesus said to them, 'Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers that they must leave for Galilee;there they wil see me.'	10 فقال لهما يسوع لا تخافا. اذهبا قولا لاخوتي ان يذهبوا الى الجليل وهناك يرونني
11 Now while they were on their way, some of the guards went off into the city to tell the chief priests althat had happened.	11 وفيما هما ذاهبتان اذا قوم من الحراس جاءوا الى المدينة واخبروا رؤساء الكهنة بكل ما كان.
12 These held a meeting with the elders and, after some discussion, handed a considerable sum ofmoney to the soldiers	12 فاجتمعوا مع الشيوخ وتشاوروا واعطوا العسكر فضة كثيرة
13 with these instructions, 'This is what you must say, "His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep."	13 قائلين. قولوا ان تلاميذه أتوا ليلا وسرقوه ونحن نيام.
14 And should the governor come to hear of this, we undertake to put things right with him ourselvesand to see that you do not get into trouble.'	14 واذا سمع ذلك عند الوالي فنحن نستعطفه ونجعلكم مطمئنين.
15 So they took the money and carried out their instructions, and to this day that is the story among theJews.	15 فاخذوا الفضة وفعلوا كما علّموهم. فشاع هذا القول عند اليهود الى هذا اليوم
16 Meanwhile the eleven disciples set out for Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had arranged tomeet them.	16 واما الاحد عشر تلميذا فانطلقوا الى الجليل الى الجبل حيث امرهم يسوع.
17 When they saw him they fell down before him, though some hesitated.	17 ولما رأوه سجدوا له ولكن بعضهم شكّوا.
18 Jesus came up and spoke to them. He said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given tome.	18 فتقدم يسوع وكلمهم قائلا. دفع اليّ كل سلطان في السماء وعلى الارض.
19 Go, therefore, make disciples of al nations; baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Sonand of the Holy Spirit,	19 فاذهبوا وتلمذوا جميع الامم وعمدوهم باسم الآب والابن والروح القدس.
20 and teach them to observe al the commands I gave you. And look, I am with you always; yes, to theend of time.'	20 وعلموهم ان يحفظوا جميع ما اوصيتكم به. وها انا معكم كل الايام الى انقضاء الدهر. آمين
