1 He then showed me the high priest Joshua, standing before the angel of Yahweh, with Satan standingon his right to accuse him.	1 Il Signore mi fece vedere Gesù sommo sacerdote, che stava in piedi dinanzi all'Angelo del Signore, e Satan stava alla destra di lui per fargli contro.
2 The angel of Yahweh said to Satan, 'May Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! May Yahweh rebuke you, sincehe has made Jerusalem his choice. Is not this man a brand snatched from the fire?'	2 E il Signore disse a Satan: Ti reprima il Signore, o Satan, e ti reprima colui, chi si e eletta Gerusalemme: non è egli questo un tizzone tratto dal fuoco?
3 Now Joshua was dressed in dirty clothes as he stood before the angel.	3 E Gesù era vestito di sordida veste, e si stava dinanzi all'Angelo,
4 The latter then spoke as fol ows to those who were standing before him, 'Take off his dirty clothesanddress him in splendid robes	4 Il quale disse a quelli, che stavano alla sua presenza: Levategli la sordida veste. E disse a lui: Ecco, che io ho tolta da te la tua iniquità, e ti ho rivestito di abito da festa.
5 and put a clean turban on his head.' So they put a clean turban on his head and dressed him in cleanclothes, while the angel of Yahweh stood byand said, 'You see, I have taken your guilt away.'	5 E soggiunse: Mettetegli in testa una tiara monda: e gli messero sulla testa la tiara monda, e lo rivestirono; e l'Angelo del Signore stava in piedi.
6 The angel of Yahweh then made this declaration to Joshua,	6 E l'Angelo del Signore fece questa protesta a Gesù, e disse:
7 'Yahweh Sabaoth says this, "If you walk in my ways and keep my ordinances, you shal govern myhouse, you shal watch over my courts, and I wil give you free access among those in attendance here.	7 Queste cose dice il Signore degli eserciti: Se tu camminerai nelle mie vie, e osserverai le mie cerimonie, tu pure sarai giudice della mia casa, e sarai custode del mio tempio, e darò a te alcuni di questi, che sono ora qui presenti, che vadan teco.
8 'So listen, High Priest Joshua, you and the colleagues over whom you preside -- for they are an omenof things to come -- for now I shal bring in my servant the Branch, and I shal remove this country's guilt in asingle day.	8 Ascolta, o Gesù sommo sacerdote, tu, e i tuoi amici, che abitan presso di te, che sono uomini da portenti: perocché ecco, che io farò venire il mio servo, l'Oriente.
9 For this is the stone which I have put before Joshua, a stone on which are seven eyes; and I myselfshall cut the inscription on it -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares."	9 Perocché questa è la pietra, che io ho posta innanzi a Gesù: sopra quest' unica pietra sono sette occhi: ecco, che io collo scalpello la lavorerò, dice il Signore degli eserciti: e in un giorno torrò via l'iniquità della terra.
10 On that day -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- invite each other to come under your vine and your figtree." '	10 In quel giorno l'amico inviterà l'amico ad andare sotto la sua vite, e sotto il suo fico, dice il Signore degli eserciti.
