Zechariah 3

NEW JERUSALEM	JERUSALEM
1 He then showed me the high priest Joshua, standing before the angel of Yahweh, with Satan standingon his right to accuse him.	1 Il me fit voir Josué, le grand prêtre, qui se tenait devant l'ange de Yahvé, tandis que le Satan étaitdebout à sa droite pour l'accuser.
2 The angel of Yahweh said to Satan, 'May Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! May Yahweh rebuke you, sincehe has made Jerusalem his choice. Is not this man a brand snatched from the fire?'	2 L'ange de Yahvé dit au Satan: "Que Yahvé te réprime, Satan; que Yahvé te réprime, lui qui a faitchoix de Jérusalem. Celui-ci n'est-il pas un tison tiré du feu?"
3 Now Joshua was dressed in dirty clothes as he stood before the angel.	3 Or Josué était vêtu d'habits sales lorsqu'il se tenait devant l'ange.
4 The latter then spoke as fol ows to those who were standing before him, 'Take off his dirty clothesanddress him in splendid robes	4 Prenant la parole, celui-ci parla en ces termes à ceux qui se tenaient devant lui: "Enlevez-lui seshabits sales et revêtez-le d'habits somptueux; et lui dit: "Vois, j'ai enlevé de dessus toi ton iniquité."
5 and put a clean turban on his head.' So they put a clean turban on his head and dressed him in cleanclothes, while the angel of Yahweh stood byand said, 'You see, I have taken your guilt away.'	5 Mettez sur sa tête une tiare propre. On mit sur sa tête une tiare propre et on le revêtit d'habitspropres. L'ange de Yahvé se tenait debout
6 The angel of Yahweh then made this declaration to Joshua,	6 Puis l'ange de Yahvé fit cette déclaration à Josué:
7 'Yahweh Sabaoth says this, "If you walk in my ways and keep my ordinances, you shal govern myhouse, you shal watch over my courts, and I wil give you free access among those in attendance here.	7 "Ainsi parle Yahvé Sabaot. Si tu marches dans mes voies et gardes mes observances, tugouverneras ma maison, tu garderas mes parvis et je te donnerai accès parmi ceux qui se tiennent ici.
8 'So listen, High Priest Joshua, you and the colleagues over whom you preside -- for they are an omenof things to come -- for now I shal bring in my servant the Branch, and I shal remove this country's guilt in asingle day.	8 Ecoute donc, Josué, grand prêtre, toi et tes compagnons qui siègent devant toi - car ils sont deshommes de présage --: Voici que je vais introduire mon serviteur "Germe",
9 For this is the stone which I have put before Joshua, a stone on which are seven eyes; and I myselfshall cut the inscription on it -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares."	9 Car voici la pierre que je place devant Josué; sur cette unique pierre, il y a sept yeux; voici que jevais graver moi-même son inscription, oracle de Yahvé Sabaot." Et j'écarterai l'iniquité de ce pays, en un seuljour.
10 On that day -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- invite each other to come under your vine and your figtree." '	10 Ce jour-là - oracle de Yahvé Sabaot - vous vous inviterez l'un l'autre sous la vigne et sous lefiguier.
