Zechariah 3

1 He then showed me the high priest Joshua, standing before the angel of Yahweh, with Satan standingon his right to accuse him.	1 Majd megmutatta nekem Józsuét, a főpapot, amint az Úr angyala előtt állt; jobbján pedig a sátán állt, hogy vádat emeljen ellene.
2 The angel of Yahweh said to Satan, 'May Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! May Yahweh rebuke you, sincehe has made Jerusalem his choice. Is not this man a brand snatched from the fire?'	2 És az Úr angyala ezt mondta a sátánnak: ‘Csendet parancsol neked, sátán, bizony, csendet parancsol neked az Úr, aki kiválasztotta Jeruzsálemet. Vajon nem olyan-e az, mint a tűzből kiragadott üszök?’
3 Now Joshua was dressed in dirty clothes as he stood before the angel.	3 Józsue pedig szennyes ruhába öltözve állt az angyal színe előtt.
4 The latter then spoke as fol ows to those who were standing before him, 'Take off his dirty clothesanddress him in splendid robes	4 Ekkor ez megszólalt és ezt mondta az előtte állóknak: ‘Vegyétek le róla a szennyes ruhát.’ Neki pedig mondta: ‘Íme, elvettem tőled gonoszságodat és új ruhába öltöztettelek.’
5 and put a clean turban on his head.' So they put a clean turban on his head and dressed him in cleanclothes, while the angel of Yahweh stood byand said, 'You see, I have taken your guilt away.'	5 És mondta: ‘Tegyetek tiszta süveget a fejére.’ Ekkor tiszta süveget tettek a fejére és felöltöztették őt, miközben az Úr angyala ott állt.
6 The angel of Yahweh then made this declaration to Joshua,	6 Aztán az Úr angyala bizonyságot tett Józsuénak:
7 'Yahweh Sabaoth says this, "If you walk in my ways and keep my ordinances, you shal govern myhouse, you shal watch over my courts, and I wil give you free access among those in attendance here.	7 ‘Így szól a Seregek Ura: Ha útjaimon jársz és megtartod előírásaimat, akkor viszonzásul te kormányzod majd házamat, te őrized udvaraimat, és bejárást engedek neked azok közé, akik most itt állnak.
8 'So listen, High Priest Joshua, you and the colleagues over whom you preside -- for they are an omenof things to come -- for now I shal bring in my servant the Branch, and I shal remove this country's guilt in asingle day.	8 Halljad, Józsue főpap, te és a társaid, akik előtted ülnek, mivel jelképes férfiak: íme, én elhozom szolgámat, a Sarjadékot.
9 For this is the stone which I have put before Joshua, a stone on which are seven eyes; and I myselfshall cut the inscription on it -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares."	9 Íme, a kő, amit Józsue elé helyeztem: Egy kövön hét szem van; íme, én faragom ki faragványát – mondja a Seregek Ura –, és egyetlen egy napon eltörlöm én e föld gonoszságát.
10 On that day -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- invite each other to come under your vine and your figtree." '	10 Azon a napon – mondja a Seregek Ura –, mindenki meghívja majd barátját szőlője és fügefája alá.’
