Haggai 2

NEW JERUSALEM	EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL
1 on the twenty-first day of the seventh month, the word of Yahweh was addressed through the prophetHaggai, as follows,	1 Am einundzwanzigsten Tag des siebten Monats erging das Wort des Herrn durch den Propheten Haggai:
2 'You are to speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel governor of Judah, to Joshua son of Jehozadak thehigh priest and to the remnant of the people. Say this,	2 Sag zu Serubbabel, dem Sohn Schealtiëls, dem Statthalter von Juda, und zum Hohenpriester Jeschua, dem Sohn des Jozadak, und zu denen, die vom Volk übrig sind:
3 "Is there anyone left among you who saw this Temple in its former glory? And how does it look to younow? Does it not seem as though there is nothing there?	3 Ist unter euch noch einer übrig, der diesen Tempel in seiner früheren Herrlichkeit gesehen hat? Und was seht ihr jetzt? Erscheint er euch nicht wie ein Nichts?
4 But take courage now, Zerubbabel!-Yahweh declares. Courage, Joshua son of Jehozadak high priest!Courage, al you people of the country!-Yahweh declares. To work! I am with you -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares-	4 Aber nun fasse Mut, Serubbabel - Spruch des Herrn -, fasse Mut, Hoherpriester Jeschua, Sohn des Jozadak, fasst alle Mut, ihr Bürger des Landes, - Spruch des Herrn - und macht euch an die Arbeit! Denn ich bin bei euch - Spruch des Herrn der Heere.
5 and my spirit is present among you. Do not be afraid!	5 Der Bund, den ich bei eurem Auszug aus Ägypten mit euch geschlossen habe, bleibt bestehen und mein Geist bleibt in eurer Mitte. Fürchtet euch nicht!
6 For Yahweh Sabaoth says this: A little while now, and I shal shake the heavens and the earth, the seaand the dry land.	6 Denn so spricht der Herr der Heere: Nur noch kurze Zeit, dann lasse ich den Himmel und die Erde, das Meer und das Festland erbeben
7 I shal shake al the nations, and the treasures of al the nations will flow in, and I shal fil this Templewith glory, says Yahweh Sabaoth.	7 und ich lasse alle Völker erzittern. Dann strömen die Schätze aller Völker herbei und ich erfülle dieses Haus mit Herrlichkeit, spricht der Herr der Heere.
8 Mine is the silver, mine the gold!-Yahweh Sabaoth declares.	8 Mir gehört das Silber und mir das Gold - Spruch des Herrn der Heere.
9 The glory of this new Temple wil surpass that of the old, says Yahweh Sabaoth, and in this place I shalgive peace -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares." '	9 Die künftige Herrlichkeit dieses Hauses wird größer sein als die frühere, spricht der Herr der Heere. An diesem Ort schenke ich die Fülle des Friedens - Spruch des Herrn der Heere.
10 On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of Yahweh wasaddressed to the prophet Haggai as fol ows,	10 Im zweiten Jahr des Darius erging am vierundzwanzigsten Tag des neunten Monats dieses Wort des Herrn an den Propheten Haggai:
11 'Yahweh Sabaoth says this, "Ask the priests to give a ruling on this:	11 So spricht der Herr der Heere: Erbitte von den Priestern eine Weisung in folgender Frage:
12 If someone is carrying consecrated meat in the fold of his gown and al ows the fold to touch bread,broth, wine, oil or food of any kind, wil that become holy?" ' The priests replied, 'No.'	12 Wenn jemand heiliges Opferfleisch im Zipfel seines Gewandes trägt und mit dem Zipfel zufällig Brot oder etwas Gekochtes berührt oder Wein oder Öl oder sonst etwas Essbares, wird dieses dadurch geheiligt? Die Priester antworteten: Nein.
13 Haggai then said, 'If anyone rendered unclean by contact with a corpse touches any of these things,wil that become unclean?' The priests replied, 'It wil become unclean.'	13 Da fragte Haggai: Wenn jemand, der durch eine Leiche unrein geworden ist, das alles berührt, wird es dann unrein? Die Priester antworteten: Ja, es wird unrein.
14 Haggai then spoke out. 'It is the same with this people,' he said, 'the same with this nation, in my view-- Yahweh declares -- the same with everything they turn their hands to; and whatever they offer here is unclean.	14 Darauf erwiderte Haggai: Ebenso sind in meinen Augen dieses Volk und diese Leute - Spruch des Herrn - und ebenso alles, was sie tun und was sie als Opfer darbringen: unrein ist es.
15 'So now think carefully, today and henceforth: before one stone had been laid on another in thesanctuary of Yahweh,	15 Nun aber gebt Acht, was von heute an geschieht. Bevor man am Tempel des Herrn Stein auf Stein legte,
16 what state were you in? You would come to a twenty-measure heap and find only ten; you wouldcome to a vat to draw fifty measures and find only twenty.	16 wie ist es euch da ergangen? Kam man zu einem Kornhaufen, der zwanzig Efa haben sollte, so waren es nur zehn; kam man zur Kelter, um fünfzig Bat zu schöpfen, waren es nur zwanzig.
17 Everything you turned your hands to, I struck with wind-blast, mildew and hail, and stil you would notreturn to me -- Yahweh declares.	17 Mit Getreidebrand und Mehltau und Hagel schlug ich euch und machte alle eure Arbeit zunichte und doch wandtet ihr euch mir nicht zu - Spruch des Herrn.
18 So think careful y, today and henceforth (from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the daythe foundation of the sanctuary of Yahweh was laid, think careful y)	18 Gebt Acht, was von heute an geschieht, vom vierundzwanzigsten Tag des neunten Monats an, dem Tag, an dem der Grundstein zum Tempel des Herrn gelegt wurde. Gebt Acht,
19 if seed-corn is stil short in the barn, and if vine and fig tree, pomegranate and olive tree still bear nofruit. 'From today onwards I intend to bless you.'	19 ob das Saatkorn weiterhin im Speicher bleibt und ob Weinstock und Feigenbaum, Granatbaum und Ölbaum immer noch keine Frucht tragen. Von heute an spende ich Segen.
20 On the twenty-fourth day of the month the word of Yahweh was addressed a second time to Haggai,as fol ows,	20 Am vierundzwanzigsten Tag des Monats erging das Wort des Herrn ein zweites Mal an Haggai:
21 'Speak to Zerubbabel governor of Judah. Say this, "I am going to shake the heavens and the earth.	21 Sag zu Serubbabel, dem Statthalter von Juda: Ich lasse den Himmel und die Erde erbeben.
22 I shal overturn the thrones of kingdoms and destroy the power of the kings of the nations. I shalloverthrow the chariots and their crews; horses and their riders wil fall, every one to the sword of his comrade.	22 Ich stürze die Throne der Könige und zerschlage die Macht der Königreiche der Völker. Ich stoße die Kriegswagen samt ihren Fahrern um, die Pferde sinken samt ihren Reitern zu Boden, einer vom Schwert des andern getroffen.
23 When that day comes -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- I shal take you, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel myservant -- Yahweh declares -- and make you like a signet ring. For I have chosen you -- Yahweh Sabaothdeclares." '	23 An jenem Tag - Spruch des Herrn der Heere - nehme ich dich, mein Knecht Serubbabel, Sohn Schealtiëls, - Spruch des Herrn - und mache dich zu meinem Siegelring; denn ich habe dich erwählt - Spruch des Herrn der Heere.
