NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 O Senhor disse a Moisés o seguinte:
2 'Make yourself two trumpets; make them of beaten silver, so that you can use them for summoningthe community, and for sounding the order to break camp.	2 "Faze para ti duas trombetas de prata: faze-as de prata batida. Elas te servirão para convocar a assembléia e para dar o sinal de levantar o acampamento.
3 Whenever they are sounded, the whole community must gather round you, at the entrance to theTent of Meeting.	3 Quando elas soarem, toda a assembléia se reunirá junto de ti, à entrada da tenda de reunião.
4 But if only one trumpet is sounded, then only the leaders, the heads of Israel's thousands, mustgather round you.	4 Se se tocar uma só, virão e se juntarão a ti os príncipes, os chefes de milhares em Israel.
5 'When the trumpet blast is accompanied by a battle cry, the encampments pitched to the east wil setout.	5 Quando tocardes com força, pôr-se-ão em marcha aqueles que estão acampados ao oriente.
6 At the second blast accompanied by a battle cry, the encampments pitched to the south wil set out.For breaking camp, the trumpet blast wil be accompanied by a battle cry,	6 E quando tocardes com força uma segunda vez, partirão aqueles que estão acampados ao meio-dia; o sinal para a sua partida será um toque estrepitoso.
7 but for assembling the community the trumpets will be sounded without battle cry.	7 Para convocar a assembléia tocareis também, mas não com estrépito.
8 The Aaronite priests wil sound the trumpets; this is a perpetual decree for you and your descendants.	8 São os filhos de Aarão, os sacerdotes, que tocarão as trombetas. É uma lei perpétua para vós e vossos descendentes.
9 'When in your country you go to war against an enemy who is oppressing you, you will soundtrumpets with a battle cry, and Yahweh your God wil remember you, and you wil be delivered from yourenemies.	9 "Quando na vossa terra sairdes à guerra contra inimigos que vos atacarem, tocareis com força as trombetas, e o Senhor vosso Deus se lembrará de vós, e sereis livres de vossos inimigos.
10 At your festivals, solemnities and new-moon feasts, you will sound the trumpets over your burntofferings and communion sacrifices, so that they recal you to the remembrance of your God. I am Yahweh yourGod.'	10 Nos vossos dias de alegria, vossas festas e vossas luas novas, tocareis as trombetas, oferecendo os holocaustos e os sacrifícios pacíficos, e elas vos lembrarão à memória de vosso Deus. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus."
11 In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud rose fromwhere the Dwel ing of the Testimony was,	11 No vigésimo dia do segundo mês do segundo ano, levantou-se a nuvem do tabernáculo do testemunho.
12 and the Israelites set out, in marching order, from the desert of Sinai. The cloud came to rest in thedesert of Paran.	12 Os israelitas puseram-se em marcha e partiram do deserto do Sinai; e a nuvem parou no deserto de Farã.
13 These were the men who set out in the vanguard, at Yahweh's order through Moses:	13 Partiram, pois, pela primeira vez, conforme a ordem do Senhor transmitida por Moisés.
14 first went the standard of the camp of the Judahites and their units, with Nahshon son ofAmminadab commanding that contingent;	14 A bandeira do acampamento dos filhos de Judá partiu em primeiro lugar, seguida de suas tropas; e a tropa de Judá era comandada por Naasson, filho de Aminadab.
15 Nethanel son of Zuar commanding the tribal contingent of the Issacharites;	15 A tropa da tribo dos filhos de Issacar era comandada por Natanael, filho de Suar;
16 and Eliab son of Helon commanding the tribal contingent of the Zebulunites.	16 e a tropa da tribo dos filhos de Zabulon era comandada por Eliab, filho de Helon.
17 The Dwel ing was then dismantled and the Gershonites and Merarites set out, carrying the Dwel ing.	17 O tabernáculo foi desmontado, e os filhos de Gérson e de Merari partiram, levando-o.

25 Last of al , the rearguard of al the camps, came the standard of the camp of the Danites and theirunits, with Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai commanding that contingent;	25 A bandeira do acampamento dos filhos de Dã, que formavam a retaguarda de todos os acampamentos, partiu, seguida de suas tropas. 27 and Ahira son of Enan commanding the tribal contingent of the Naphtalites.	27 e a tropa dos filhos de Neftali era comandada por Aira, filho de Enã.
28 Such was the order of march for the Israelites, unit by unit. So they set out.	28 Esta foi a ordem de marcha dos israelitas, divididos em tropas, quando levantaram acampamento.
29 Moses said to Hobab son of Reuel the Midianite, his father-in-law, 'We are setting out for the countryof which Yahweh has said: I shall give it to you. Come with us, and we wil treat you wel , for Yahweh haspromised good things for Israel.'	29 Moisés disse a Hobab, filho de Raguel, o madianita, seu sogro: "Nós partimos para o lugar que o Senhor nos prometeu dar. Vem conosco, e far-te-emos bem, porque o Senhor prometeu fazer bem a Israel."
30 'I wil not come with you,' he replied, 'but shal go to my own country and kin.'	30 Hobab, porém, respondeu-lhe: "Não irei contigo, mas voltarei para a minha terra e para junto de minha família".
31 'Do not leave us,' Moses said, 'for you know where we can camp in the desert, and so you will beour eyes.	31 Moisés replicou: "Rogo-te que não te separes de nós. Conheces os lugares onde podemos acampar no deserto, e nos servirás de guia.
32 If you come with us, we shal share with you whatever blessings Yahweh gives us.'	32 Se vieres conosco, dividiremos contigo os bens que o Senhor nos der."
33 They set out from Yahweh's mountain and travel ed for three days, while the ark of the covenant ofYahweh preceded them on the three-day journey, searching out a place for them to halt.	33 Partiram da montanha do Senhor e caminharam três dias. Durante esses três dias de marcha, a arca da aliança do Senhor os precedia, para lhes escolher um lugar de repouso.
34 In the daytime, Yahweh's cloud was over them, once they had broken camp.	34 A nuvem do Senhor estava sobre eles de dia, quando partiam do acampamento.
35 Whenever the ark set out, Moses would say: Rise, Yahweh, may your enemies be scattered andthose who hate you flee at your approach!	35 Quando a arca se levantava, Moisés dizia: "Levantai-vos, Senhor, e sejam dispersos os vossos inimigos! Fujam de vossa face os que vos aborrecem!"
36 And when it halted, he would say: Come back, Yahweh, to the countless thousands of Israel!	36 Quando, porém, se detinha, dizia: "Voltai, Senhor, para as miríades de milhares de Israel!
