NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Habló Yahveh a Moisés y le dijo:
2 'Make yourself two trumpets; make them of beaten silver, so that you can use them for summoningthe community, and for sounding the order to break camp.	2 «Hazte dos trompetas: las harás de plata maciza. Te servirán para convocar a la comunidad y dar la señal de mover el campamento.
3 Whenever they are sounded, the whole community must gather round you, at the entrance to theTent of Meeting.	3 Cuando suenen las dos, se reunirá junto a ti toda la comunidad, a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro.
4 But if only one trumpet is sounded, then only the leaders, the heads of Israel's thousands, mustgather round you.	4 Pero cuando suene una sola, se reunirán contigo los principales, jefes de millares de Israel.
5 'When the trumpet blast is accompanied by a battle cry, the encampments pitched to the east wil setout.	5 Cuando toquéis a clamoreo, partirán los que acampan a oriente.
6 At the second blast accompanied by a battle cry, the encampments pitched to the south wil set out.For breaking camp, the trumpet blast wil be accompanied by a battle cry,	6 Cuando toquéis a clamoreo por segunda vez, partirán los campamentos que acampan al mediodía, Tocaréis a clamoreo para partir;
7 but for assembling the community the trumpets will be sounded without battle cry.	7 en cambio, para congregar la asamblea, tocaréis sin clamoreo.
8 The Aaronite priests wil sound the trumpets; this is a perpetual decree for you and your descendants.	8 Los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, serán los que toquen las trompetas: este serán un decreto perpetuo para vosotros y para vuestra descendencia.
9 'When in your country you go to war against an enemy who is oppressing you, you will soundtrumpets with a battle cry, and Yahweh your God wil remember you, and you wil be delivered from yourenemies.	9 Cuando, ya en vuestra tierra, partáis para el combate contra un enemigo que os oprime, tocaréis las trompetas a clamoreo; así se acordará Yahveh, vuestro Dios, de vosotros, y seréis librados de vuestros enemigos.
10 At your festivals, solemnities and new-moon feasts, you will sound the trumpets over your burntofferings and communion sacrifices, so that they recal you to the remembrance of your God. I am Yahweh yourGod.'	10 En vuestros días de fiesta, solemnidades, neomenias, tocaréis las trompetas durante vuestros holocaustos y sacrificios de comunión. Así haréis que vuestro Dios se acuerde de vosotros. Yo, Yahveh, vuestro Dios.»
11 In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud rose fromwhere the Dwel ing of the Testimony was,	11 El año segundo, el mes segundo, el día veinte del mes, se levantó la Nube de encima de la Morada del Testimonio,
12 and the Israelites set out, in marching order, from the desert of Sinai. The cloud came to rest in thedesert of Paran.	12 y los israelitas partieron, en orden de marcha, del desierto del Sinaí. La nube se detuvo en el desierto de Parán.
13 These were the men who set out in the vanguard, at Yahweh's order through Moses:	13 Partieron en vanguardia según la orden que Yahveh había dado a Moisés:
14 first went the standard of the camp of the Judahites and their units, with Nahshon son ofAmminadab commanding that contingent;	14 la bandera del campamento de los hijos de Judá en primer lugar, por cuerpos de ejército. Al frente de su tropa, iba Najsón, hijo de Aminadab;
15 Nethanel son of Zuar commanding the tribal contingent of the Issacharites;	15 al frente de la tropa de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, Natanael, hijo de Suar;
16 and Eliab son of Helon commanding the tribal contingent of the Zebulunites.	16 al frente de la tropa de la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, Eliab, hijo de Jelón.
17 The Dwel ing was then dismantled and the Gershonites and Merarites set out, carrying the Dwel ing.	17 Entonces fue desmontada la Morada y partieron los hijos de Guerson y los hijos de Merarí, llevando la Morada.
18 Then came the standard of the camp of the Reubenites and their units, with Elizur son of Shedeurcommanding that contingent;	18 Partió luego la bandera del campamento de Rubén, por cuerpos de ejército: al frente de su tropa iba Elisur, hijo de Sedeur;
19 Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai commanding the tribal contingent of the Simeonites;	19 al frente de la tropa de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, Selumiel, hijo de Surisadday;
20 and Eliasaph son of Reuel commanding the tribal contingent of the Gadites.	20 al frente de la tropa de la tribu de los hijos de Gad, Elyasaf, hijo de Reuel.
21 Then came the Kohathites carrying the sanctuary (the Dwel ing was erected before they arrived).	21 Entonces partieron los quehatitas, que llevaban el santuario (la Morada se montaba antes de que llegaran).
22 Then came the standard of the camp of the Ephraimites and their units, with Elishama son ofAmmihud commanding that contingent;	22 Partió luego la bandera del campamento de los hijos de Efraím, por cuerpos de ejército; al frente de su tropa iba Elisamá, hijo de Ammihud.
23 Gamaliel son of Pedahzur commanding the tribal contingent of the Manassehites;	23 Al frente de la tropa de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, Gamaliel, hijo de Pedahsur;
24 and Abidan son of Gideoni commanding the tribal contingent of the Benjaminites.	24 al frente de la tropa de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín, Abidán, hijo de Guideoní.
25 Last of al , the rearguard of al the camps, came the standard of the camp of the Danites and theirunits, with Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai commanding that contingent;	25 Luego, cerrando la marcha de todos los campamentos, partió la bandera del campamento de los hijos de Dan, por cuerpos de ejército. Al frente de su tropa iba Ajiézer, hijo de Ammisadday;
26 Pagiel son of Ochran commanding the tribal contingent of the Asherites;	26 al frente de la tropa de la tribu de los hijos de Aser, Paguiel, hijo de Okrán;
27 and Ahira son of Enan commanding the tribal contingent of the Naphtalites.	27 al frente de la tropa de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, Ajirá, hijo de Enán.
28 Such was the order of march for the Israelites, unit by unit. So they set out.	28 Este fue el orden de marcha de los israelitas, repartidos en cuerpos de ejército. Y así partieron.
29 Moses said to Hobab son of Reuel the Midianite, his father-in-law, 'We are setting out for the countryof which Yahweh has said: I shall give it to you. Come with us, and we wil treat you wel , for Yahweh haspromised good things for Israel.'	29 Dijo Moisés a Jobab, hijo de Reuel el madianita, suegro de Moisés: «Nosotros partimos para el lugar del que ha dicho Yahveh: Os lo daré. Ven con nosotros y te trataremos bien, porque Yahveh ha prometido bienestar a Israel.»
30 'I wil not come with you,' he replied, 'but shal go to my own country and kin.'	30 El respondió: «No iré, sino que me volveré a mi tierra y a mi parentela.»
31 'Do not leave us,' Moses said, 'for you know where we can camp in the desert, and so you will beour eyes.	31 Moisés insistió: «Por favor, no os dejes; tú conoces los sitios donde acampar en el desierto; tú serás nuestros ojos.
32 If you come with us, we shal share with you whatever blessings Yahweh gives us.'	32 Si vienes con nosotros, te haremos partícipe del bienestar con que Yahveh nos va a favorecer.»
33 They set out from Yahweh's mountain and travel ed for three days, while the ark of the covenant ofYahweh preceded them on the three-day journey, searching out a place for them to halt.	33 Partieron del monte de Yahveh para hacer tres jornadas. El arca de la alianza de Yahveh iba delante de ellos los tres días de camino, buscándoles donde hacer alto.
34 In the daytime, Yahweh's cloud was over them, once they had broken camp.	34 La Nube de Yahveh iba de día sobre ellos, desde que dejaron el campamento.
35 Whenever the ark set out, Moses would say: Rise, Yahweh, may your enemies be scattered andthose who hate you flee at your approach!	35 Cuando partía el arca, decía Moisés: «Levántate, Yahveh, que tus enemigos se dispersen, huyan delante de ti los que te odian.»
36 And when it halted, he would say: Come back, Yahweh, to the countless thousands of Israel!	36 Y cuando se detenía, decía: «Vuelve, Yahveh, a las miríadas de Israel.»
