Ezekiel 6

1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	1 La parola di Jahvè mi fu rivolta:
2 'Son of man, turn towards the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.	2 «Figli dell’uomo, volgi la faccia ai monti di Israele profetizza contro di loro
3 Say, "Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. The Lord Yahweh says this to mountainsand hil s and ravines and val eys: Look, I am going to summon the sword against you and destroy your highplaces.	3 e di: “Monti di ]sraele, ascoltate la parola del Signore Jahvè! Così dice Jahvè ai monti, ai colli, alle valli irrigue e alle pianure: Ecco, sto per far passare su di voi la spada e distruggerò le vostre alture.
4 Your altars will be wrecked, and your incense burners smashed; I shal fling your butchered inhabitantsdown in front of your foul idols;	4 I vostri altari saranno devastati, infranti i vostri khammanim,; farò abbattere i vostri trafitti dinanzi ai vostri idoli
5 I shall lay the corpses of the Israelites in front of their foul idols and scatter their bones all round youraltars.	5 e spargerò le vostre ossa intorno ai vostri altari.
6 Wherever you live, the towns will be destroyed and the high places wrecked, to the ruin and wrecking ofyour altars, the shattering and abolition of your foul idols, the smashing of your incense burners and the utterdestruction of al your works.	6 Dovunque abitiate, le città diverranno deserte e le alture saranno devastate, affinché siano deserti e devastati i vostri altari, siano infranti e scompaiano i vostri idoli frantumati i vostri khammanim e sterminate le vostre opere.
7 As the butchered fall about you, you wil know that I am Yahweh.	7 I trafitti giaceranno in mezzo a voi e saprete che io sono Jahvè.
8 "But I shal spare some of you to escape the sword among the nations, when you have been dispersedin their lands;	8 Tuttavia, quando voi avrete superstiti alla spada, tra le genti, quando vi disperderò per le loro regioni, metterò a parte un resto.
9 and your survivors wil remember me among the nations where they are held captive, since I shal havebroken their adulterous hearts for having deserted me, and destroyed their eyes for having turned adulterouslytowards their foul idols. They wil loathe themselves for al the wrong they have caused by their loathsomepractices.	9 I vostri superstiti si ricorderanno di me tra le genti dove saranno condotti prigionieri, quando avrò spezzato il loro cuore adultero, che si è allontanato da me, e i loro occhi che si sono prostituiti ai loro dèi: allora avranno nausea di se stessi per i crimini commessi e per tutti i loro abomini.
10 Then they wil know that I am Yahweh and that I was not talking lightly when I said that I would inflictthese disasters on them."	10 Sapranno allora che io sono Jahvè e che non avevo minacciato invano di infliggere loro questi mali”»
11 'The Lord Yahweh says this, "Clap your hands, stamp your feet, and say: Alas for al the loathsomesins of the House of Israel, which is about to fal by sword, famine and plague!	11 Così dice il Signore Jahvè: «Batti le mani, pesta i piedi in terra, e di’: “Ah! Per tutti gli empi abomini della casa di Israele, che cadrà di spada, di fame e di peste.
12 Far off, they wil die by plague; near at hand they will fal by the sword; and any who survive or arespared wil die of famine. This is how I shal sate my fury on them.	12 Chi sarà lontano morirà di peste, chi sarà vicino cadrà di spada, chi resterà e sarà assediato morirà di fame; così sazierò appieno su di essi il mio furore.
13 Then you will know that I am Yahweh, when their butchered corpses lie among their foul idols, allround their altars, on every high hil , on every mountain top, under every green tree, under every leafy oak,wherever they offer a smel pleasing to al their idols.	13 Saprete che io sono Jahvè, quando i loro trafitti giaceranno tra i loro idoli, intorno ai loro altari, su ogni colle elevato, su tutte le cime dei monti, sotto ogni albero frondoso e ogni quercia folta, è dove hanno offerto soavi profumi a tutti i loro idoli.
14 I shal point my finger at them and reduce the country to an empty wasteland from the desert to Riblah,everywhere they live, and they wil know that I am Yahweh." '	14 Stenderò su di essi la mano e renderò il paese desolato e devastato, dal deserto a Ribla, dovunque dimorino. Sapranno allora che io sono Jahvè”».
