Ezekiel 6

NEW JERUSALEM	LXX
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	1 και εγενετο λογος κυριου προς με λεγων
2 'Son of man, turn towards the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.	2 υιε ανθρωπου στηρισον το προσωπον σου επι τα ορη ισραηλ και προφητευσον επ' αυτα
3 Say, "Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. The Lord Yahweh says this to mountainsand hil s and ravines and val eys: Look, I am going to summon the sword against you and destroy your highplaces.	3 και ερεις τα ορη ισραηλ ακουσατε λογον κυριου ταδε λεγει κυριος τοις ορεσιν και τοις βουνοις και ταις φαραγξιν και ταις ναπαις ιδου εγω επαγω εφ' υμας ρομφαιαν και εξολεθρευθησεται τα υψηλα υμων
4 Your altars will be wrecked, and your incense burners smashed; I shal fling your butchered inhabitantsdown in front of your foul idols;	4 και συντριβησονται τα θυσιαστηρια υμων και τα τεμενη υμων και καταβαλω τραυματιας υμων ενωπιον των ειδωλων υμων
5 I shall lay the corpses of the Israelites in front of their foul idols and scatter their bones all round youraltars.	5 και διασκορπιω τα οστα υμων κυκλω των θυσιαστηριων υμων
6 Wherever you live, the towns will be destroyed and the high places wrecked, to the ruin and wrecking ofyour altars, the shattering and abolition of your foul idols, the smashing of your incense burners and the utterdestruction of al your works.	6 εν παση τη κατοικια υμων αι πολεις εξερημωθησονται και τα υψηλα αφανισθησεται οπως εξολεθρευθη τα θυσιαστηρια υμων και συντριβησονται τα ειδωλα υμων και εξαρθησεται τα τεμενη υμων
7 As the butchered fall about you, you wil know that I am Yahweh.	7 και πεσουνται τραυματιαι εν μεσω υμων και επιγνωσεσθε οτι εγω κυριος
8 "But I shal spare some of you to escape the sword among the nations, when you have been dispersedin their lands;	8 εν τω γενεσθαι εξ υμων ανασωζομενους εκ ρομφαιας εν τοις εθνεσιν και εν τω διασκορπισμω υμων εν ταις χωραις
9 and your survivors wil remember me among the nations where they are held captive, since I shal havebroken their adulterous hearts for having deserted me, and destroyed their eyes for having turned adulterouslytowards their foul idols. They wil loathe themselves for al the wrong they have caused by their loathsomepractices.	9 και μνησθησονται μου οι ανασωζομενοι εξ υμων εν τοις εθνεσιν ου ηχμαλωτευθησαν εκει ομωμοκα τη καρδια αυτων τη εκπορνευουση απ' εμου και τοις οφθαλμοις αυτων τοις πορνευουσιν οπισω των επιτηδευματων αυτων και κοψονται προσωπα αυτων εν πασι τοις βδελυγμασιν αυτων
10 Then they wil know that I am Yahweh and that I was not talking lightly when I said that I would inflictthese disasters on them."	10 και επιγνωσονται διοτι εγω κυριος λελαληκα
11 'The Lord Yahweh says this, "Clap your hands, stamp your feet, and say: Alas for al the loathsomesins of the House of Israel, which is about to fal by sword, famine and plague!	11 ταδε λεγει κυριος κροτησον τη χειρι και ψοφησον τω ποδι και ειπον ευγε ευγε επι πασιν τοις βδελυγμασιν οικου ισραηλ εν ρομφαια και εν θανατω και εν λιμω πεσουνται
12 Far off, they wil die by plague; near at hand they will fal by the sword; and any who survive or arespared wil die of famine. This is how I shal sate my fury on them.	12 ο εγγυς εν ρομφαια πεσειται ο δε μακραν εν θανατω τελευτησει και ο περιεχομενος εν λιμω συντελεσθησεται και συντελεσω την οργην μου επ' αυτους
13 Then you will know that I am Yahweh, when their butchered corpses lie among their foul idols, allround their altars, on every high hil , on every mountain top, under every green tree, under every leafy oak,wherever they offer a smel pleasing to al their idols.	13 και γνωσεσθε διοτι εγω κυριος εν τω ειναι τους τραυματιας υμων εν μεσω των ειδωλων υμων κυκλω των θυσιαστηριων υμων επι παντα βουνον υψηλον και υποκατω δενδρου συσκιου ου εδωκαν εκει οσμην ευωδιας πασι τοις ειδωλοις αυτων
14 I shal point my finger at them and reduce the country to an empty wasteland from the desert to Riblah,everywhere they live, and they wil know that I am Yahweh." '	14 και εκτενω την χειρα μου επ' αυτους και θησομαι την γην εις αφανισμον και εις ολεθρον απο της ερημου δεβλαθα εκ πασης της κατοικιας και επιγνωσεσθε οτι εγω κυριος
