Ezekiel 6

1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	1 La parola del Signore mi fu rivolta in questi termini:
2 'Son of man, turn towards the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.	2 « Figlio dell'uomo, volgi la tua faccia ai monti d'Israele, e profetizza contro di essi,
3 Say, "Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. The Lord Yahweh says this to mountainsand hil s and ravines and val eys: Look, I am going to summon the sword against you and destroy your highplaces.	3 dicendo: Monti d'Israele, ascoltate la parola del Signore Dio; così parla il Signore Dio ai monti e ai colli, alle rupi e alle valli: Ecco, io farò venire sopra di voi la spada, e distruggerò i vostri alti luoghi.
4 Your altars will be wrecked, and your incense burners smashed; I shal fling your butchered inhabitantsdown in front of your foul idols;	4 E demolirò i vostri altari e saran fatti in pezzi i vostri simulacri, e i vostri (abitatori) li farò cadere uccisi davanti ai vostri idoli,
5 I shall lay the corpses of the Israelites in front of their foul idols and scatter their bones all round youraltars.	5 e porrò i cadaveri dei figli d'Israele davanti alla faccia dei vostri simulacri, e spargerò le vostre ossa intorno ai vostri altari,
6 Wherever you live, the towns will be destroyed and the high places wrecked, to the ruin and wrecking ofyour altars, the shattering and abolition of your foul idols, the smashing of your incense burners and the utterdestruction of al your works.	6 per tutto ove voi abitate le città saran deserte, e gli alti luoghi saranno abbattuti, saran distrutti e non esisteran più i vostri altari, saran fatti in pezzi e ridotti a niente i vostri idoli, i vostri templi saranno atterrati, e le vostre opere periranno,
7 As the butchered fall about you, you wil know that I am Yahweh.	7 e gli uccisi cadranno in mezzo a voi, e conoscerete che io sono il Signore.
8 "But I shal spare some of you to escape the sword among the nations, when you have been dispersedin their lands;	8 E lascerò di voi quelli che fuggiranno la spada tra le nazioni, quando vi avrò dispersi per la terra.
9 and your survivors wil remember me among the nations where they are held captive, since I shal havebroken their adulterous hearts for having deserted me, and destroyed their eyes for having turned adulterouslytowards their foul idols. They wil loathe themselves for al the wrong they have caused by their loathsomepractices.	9 E i vostri scampati si ricorderanno di me tra le nazioni, dove saran condotti schiavi, quando avrò loro spezzato il loro cuore adultero e alieno da me, e i loro occhi adulteri volti ai loro idoli. Ed essi avran disgusto di se stessi, per il male che han fatto in tutte le loro abominazioni;
10 Then they wil know that I am Yahweh and that I was not talking lightly when I said that I would inflictthese disasters on them."	10 e sapranno che io sono il Signore e che non invano ho detto di fare ad essi tal male.
11 'The Lord Yahweh says this, "Clap your hands, stamp your feet, and say: Alas for al the loathsomesins of the House of Israel, which is about to fal by sword, famine and plague!	11 Così parla il Signore Dio: Batti la tua mano, pesta il tuo piede, e di': « Guai » a tutte le abominazioni dei cattivi della casa d'Israele, perchè stan per essere sterminati dalla spada, dalla fame, dalla peste.
12 Far off, they wil die by plague; near at hand they will fal by the sword; and any who survive or arespared wil die of famine. This is how I shal sate my fury on them.	12 Chi è lontano morrà di peste, chi è vicino cadrà sotto la spada, e chi sarà lasciato e assediato morirà di fame, e contro di essi sfogherò completamente il mio sdegno.
13 Then you will know that I am Yahweh, when their butchered corpses lie among their foul idols, allround their altars, on every high hil , on every mountain top, under every green tree, under every leafy oak,wherever they offer a smel pleasing to al their idols.	13 E conoscerete che io sono il Signore quando i vostri saranno uccisi in mezzo ai vostri idoli, intorno ai vostri altari, su tutte le colline elevate, su tutte le vette dei monti, sotto ogni albero frondoso, sotto ogni querce folta, luoghi dove essi gettaron sul fuoco incensi odorosi a tutti i loro idoli.
14 I shal point my finger at them and reduce the country to an empty wasteland from the desert to Riblah,everywhere they live, and they wil know that I am Yahweh." '	14 Ed io stenderò sopra di essi la mia mano e renderò il loro paese desolato e devastato, dal deserto a Deblata, in tutti i luoghi dove hanno abitato, e sapranno che io sono il Signore ».
