Ezekiel 6

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	1 A palavra do Senhor foi-me dirigida nestes termos:
2 'Son of man, turn towards the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.	2 Filho do homem, volta-te para as montanhas de Israel, e contra elas profere o oráculo
3 Say, "Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. The Lord Yahweh says this to mountainsand hil s and ravines and val eys: Look, I am going to summon the sword against you and destroy your highplaces.	3 seguinte: montes de Israel, escutai a palavra do Senhor Javé. Eis o que diz o Senhor Javé às colinas, aos outeiros, aos ribeiros e aos vales: vou enviar contra vós a espada para destruir os vossos lugares altos.
4 Your altars will be wrecked, and your incense burners smashed; I shal fling your butchered inhabitantsdown in front of your foul idols;	4 Vossos altares serão demolidos, quebrados os vossos obeliscos; farei cair os vossos homens, transpassados a golpes diante dos vossos ídolos.
5 I shall lay the corpses of the Israelites in front of their foul idols and scatter their bones all round youraltars.	5 Sim, perante eles estenderei os cadáveres dos israelitas, espalharei todas as vossas ossadas em torno dos vossos altares.
6 Wherever you live, the towns will be destroyed and the high places wrecked, to the ruin and wrecking ofyour altars, the shattering and abolition of your foul idols, the smashing of your incense burners and the utterdestruction of al your works.	6 Em todo lugar onde vos fixardes, hão de ser as vossas cidades despovoadas, e devastados os lugares altos, de sorte que os vossos altares serão saqueados, demolidos os vossos ídolos, quebrados, suprimidos; os vossos obeliscos, despedaçados, as vossas obras, aniquiladas.
7 As the butchered fall about you, you wil know that I am Yahweh.	7 No vosso meio tombarão homens traspassados de golpes, e sabereis que sou eu o Senhor.
8 "But I shal spare some of you to escape the sword among the nations, when you have been dispersedin their lands;	8 Todavia, eu vos deixarei um resto quando vos tiver dispersado entre as nações. Os sobreviventes que escaparem ao massacre
9 and your survivors wil remember me among the nations where they are held captive, since I shal havebroken their adulterous hearts for having deserted me, and destroyed their eyes for having turned adulterouslytowards their foul idols. They wil loathe themselves for al the wrong they have caused by their loathsomepractices.	9 se recordarão de mim em meio dos gentios, para onde tiverem sido deportados; quebrantarei o seu coração que se prostituiu longe de mim, e seus olhos, que se prostituíram com os ídolos. Eles cairão em si, desgostosos de suas práticas abomináveis;
10 Then they wil know that I am Yahweh and that I was not talking lightly when I said that I would inflictthese disasters on them."	10 compreenderão que sou eu o Senhor e não é em vão que os tenho ameaçado com essas calamidades.
11 'The Lord Yahweh says this, "Clap your hands, stamp your feet, and say: Alas for al the loathsomesins of the House of Israel, which is about to fal by sword, famine and plague!	11 Eis o que diz o Senhor Deus: bate palmas, tripudia, e dize: Ah! Ah! sobre todas as abominações perversas da casa de Israel, que irá perecer pela espada, fome e peste.
12 Far off, they wil die by plague; near at hand they will fal by the sword; and any who survive or arespared wil die of famine. This is how I shal sate my fury on them.	12 Aquele que se achar longe morrerá de peste, o que se achar próximo tombará pela espada; os sobreviventes sitiados perecerão de fome, porque contra eles saciarei o meu furor.
13 Then you will know that I am Yahweh, when their butchered corpses lie among their foul idols, allround their altars, on every high hil , on every mountain top, under every green tree, under every leafy oak,wherever they offer a smel pleasing to al their idols.	13 E saberão que sou eu o Senhor, quando os seus mortos estiverem estirados em meio aos seus ídolos, em torno dos seus altares, em todas as colinas elevadas, debaixo de todas as árvores verdejantes, debaixo de todos os terebintos frondosos, em todos os lugares onde ofereceram aos dolos o incenso de agradável odor.
14 I shal point my finger at them and reduce the country to an empty wasteland from the desert to Riblah,everywhere they live, and they wil know that I am Yahweh." '	14 Estenderei a mão contra eles e, por toda parte onde habitam, desolarei e devastarei a terra, desde o deserto até Ribla. E saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
