Ezekiel 6

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	1 La palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
2 'Son of man, turn towards the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.	2 Hijo de hombre, vuelve tu rostro hacia las montañas de Israel y profetiza contra ellas.
3 Say, "Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. The Lord Yahweh says this to mountainsand hil s and ravines and val eys: Look, I am going to summon the sword against you and destroy your highplaces.	3 Dirás: Montañas de Israel, escuchen la palabra del Señor. Así habla el Señor a las montañas y a las colinas. Yo haré caer la espada sobre ustedes y haré desaparecer sus lugares altos.
4 Your altars will be wrecked, and your incense burners smashed; I shal fling your butchered inhabitantsdown in front of your foul idols;	4 Sus altares serán devastados, sus braseros para el incienso serán destrozados y haré caer los cadáveres de ustedes delante de sus ídolos.
5 I shall lay the corpses of the Israelites in front of their foul idols and scatter their bones all round youraltars.	5 Pondré los cadáveres de los israelitas delante de sus ídolos y dispersaré sus huesos alrededor de sus altares.
6 Wherever you live, the towns will be destroyed and the high places wrecked, to the ruin and wrecking ofyour altars, the shattering and abolition of your foul idols, the smashing of your incense burners and the utterdestruction of al your works.	6 En todos los lugares donde ustedes habiten, las ciudades quedarán en ruinas y los lugares altos serán devastados. Así quedarán en ruinas y execrados sus altares, destrozados y arrasados sus ídolos, derribados sus braseros para el incienso y aniquiladas sus obras.
7 As the butchered fall about you, you wil know that I am Yahweh.	7 Los cadáveres caerán en medio de ustedes, y así sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
8 "But I shal spare some of you to escape the sword among the nations, when you have been dispersedin their lands;	8 Pero yo dejaré mi resto. Y cuando los que se hayan librado de la espada estén en medio de las naciones, cuando ustedes sean dispersados entre los pueblos,
9 and your survivors wil remember me among the nations where they are held captive, since I shal havebroken their adulterous hearts for having deserted me, and destroyed their eyes for having turned adulterouslytowards their foul idols. They wil loathe themselves for al the wrong they have caused by their loathsomepractices.	9 los sobrevivientes se acordarán de mí, en medio de las naciones donde hayan sido deportados. Yo desgarraré su corazón prostituido que se apartó de mi y sus ojos que se prostituyeron detrás de sus ídolos; sentirán horror de sí mismos por las maldades que cometieron con todas sus abominaciones.
10 Then they wil know that I am Yahweh and that I was not talking lightly when I said that I would inflictthese disasters on them."	10 Y sabrán que yo, el Señor, no en vano los amenacé con estos males.
11 'The Lord Yahweh says this, "Clap your hands, stamp your feet, and say: Alas for al the loathsomesins of the House of Israel, which is about to fal by sword, famine and plague!	11 Así habla el Señor: Aplaude, patalea y di: «bien hecho!», por todas las execrables abominaciones del pueblo de Israel, que va a perecer por la espada, el hambre y la peste.
12 Far off, they wil die by plague; near at hand they will fal by the sword; and any who survive or arespared wil die of famine. This is how I shal sate my fury on them.	12 El que está lejos morirá por la peste; el que está cerca caerá bajo la espada; y el que quede sitiado morirá de hambre. Así desahogaré mi furor contra ellos.
13 Then you will know that I am Yahweh, when their butchered corpses lie among their foul idols, allround their altars, on every high hil , on every mountain top, under every green tree, under every leafy oak,wherever they offer a smel pleasing to al their idols.	13 Y ustedes sabrán que yo soy el Señor, cuando sus cadáveres estén en medio de sus ídolos, alrededor de sus altares, en toda colina elevada y en todas las cumbres de las montañas, bajo todo árbol frondoso y bajo todo terebinto tupido, allí mismo donde ofrecían perfume agradable a todos sus ídolos.
14 I shal point my finger at them and reduce the country to an empty wasteland from the desert to Riblah,everywhere they live, and they wil know that I am Yahweh." '	14 Extenderé mi mano contra ellos, haré del país una devastación y una desolación, desde el desierto hasta Riblá, en todos los lugares donde habitan, y ellos sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
