Leviticus 12

NEW JERUSALEM	Le Sainte Bible Fillion
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	1 Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse, et lui dit:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "If a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth to a boy, she wil beunclean for seven days as when in a state of pol ution due to menstruation.	2 Parlez aux enfants d'Israël, et dites-leur: Si une femme étant devenue grosse enfante un enfant mâle, elle sera impure pendant sept jours, selon le temps qu'elle demeurera séparée à cause de son indisposition mensuelle.
3 On the eighth day the child's foreskin must be circumcised,	3 L'enfant sera circoncis le huitième jour;
4 and she wil wait another thirty-three days for her blood to be purified. She wil not touch anythingconsecrated nor go to the sanctuary until the time of her purification is over.	4 Et elle demeurera encore trente-trois jours pour être purifiée de la suite de ses couches. Elle ne touchera à rien qui soit saint, et elle n'entrera point dans le sanctuaire jusqu'à ce que les jours de sa purification soient accomplis.
5 "If she gives birth to a girl, she wil be unclean for two weeks, as during her monthly periods; and willwait another sixty-six days for her blood to be purified.	5 Si elle enfante une fille, elle sera impure pendant deux semaines, comme lorsqu'elle est séparée à cause de son indisposition mensuelle; elle demeurera soixante-six jours pour être purifiée de la suite de ses couches.
6 "When the period of her purification is over, for either boy or girl, she wil bring the priest at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting a lamb one year old for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or turtledove as asacrifice for sin.	6 Lorsque les jours de sa purification auront été accomplis, ou pour un fils ou pour une fille, elle portera à l'entrée du tabernacle du témoignage un agneau d'un an pour être offert en holocauste, et pour le péché le petit d'une colombe, ou une tourterelle, qu'elle donnera au prêtre,
7 The priest must offer this before Yahweh, perform the rite of expiation for her, and she wil be purified from her discharge of blood. "Such is the law concerning a woman who gives birth to either a boy or a girl.	7 Qui les offrira devant le Seigneur et priera pour elle; et elle sera ainsi purifiée de toute la suite de ses couches. Telle est la loi pour celle qui enfante un enfant mâle ou une fille.
8 If she cannot afford a lamb, she must take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for the burntoffering and the other for the sacrifice for sin. The priest will perform the rite of expiation for her and she wil bepurified." '	8 Si elle n'a pas le moyen de se procurer un agneau, elle prendra deux tourterelles ou deux petits de colombes, l'un pour être offert en holocauste, et l'autre pour le péché; et le prêtre priera pour elle, et elle sera ainsi purifiée.
