Leviticus 12

1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "If a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth to a boy, she wil beunclean for seven days as when in a state of pol ution due to menstruation.	2 Parla a' figliuoli d'Israele, e dirai loro: La donna, la quale rimasa incinta partorirà un figliuolo maschio, sarà immonda per sette giorni, come ne' mensuali suoi corsi.
3 On the eighth day the child's foreskin must be circumcised,	3 E l’ottavo giorno si circonciderà il bambino.
4 and she wil wait another thirty-three days for her blood to be purified. She wil not touch anythingconsecrated nor go to the sanctuary until the time of her purification is over.	4 Ed ella trenta tre giorni starà a purificarsi dal suo sangue. Non toccherà nulla di santo, e non entrerà nel santuario, fino a tanto che sien compiuti i giorni di sua purificazione.
5 "If she gives birth to a girl, she wil be unclean for two weeks, as during her monthly periods; and willwait another sixty-six days for her blood to be purified.	5 Che se avrà partorito una bambina, ella sarà immonda per due settimane, come nei mensuali suoi corsi, e per sessanta sei giorni starà a purificarsi dal suo sangue.
6 "When the period of her purification is over, for either boy or girl, she wil bring the priest at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting a lamb one year old for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or turtledove as asacrifice for sin.	6 E compiuti che sieno i giorni della sua purificazione pel figliuolo, ovver pella figlia, porterà all’ingresso del tabernacolo del testimonio un agnello dell’anno per l’olocausto, e un colombino, o una tortora per il peccato, e darà queste cose al sacerdote,
7 The priest must offer this before Yahweh, perform the rite of expiation for her, and she wil be purified from her discharge of blood. "Such is the law concerning a woman who gives birth to either a boy or a girl.	7 Il quale le offerirà dinanzi al Signore, e farà orazione per lei; e così sarà ella purificata dal flusso del sangue suo. Quest'è la legge per colei, che partorisce un maschio, o una femmina.
8 If she cannot afford a lamb, she must take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for the burntoffering and the other for the sacrifice for sin. The priest will perform the rite of expiation for her and she wil bepurified." '	8 Che se ella non ha il modo di poter offerire l'agnello, prenderà due tortore, ovvero due colombini, uno per l'olocausto, e l'altro per il peccato: e il sacerdote farà orazione per lei, e così sarà purificata.
