Leviticus 12

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	1 وكلم الرب موسى قائلا
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "If a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth to a boy, she wil beunclean for seven days as when in a state of pol ution due to menstruation.	2 كلم بني اسرائيل قائلا. اذا حبلت امرأة وولدت ذكرا تكون نجسة سبعة ايام. كما في ايام طمث علتها تكون نجسة.
3 On the eighth day the child's foreskin must be circumcised,	3 وفي اليوم الثامن يختن لحم غرلته
4 and she wil wait another thirty-three days for her blood to be purified. She wil not touch anythingconsecrated nor go to the sanctuary until the time of her purification is over.	4 ثم تقيم ثلاثة وثلاثين يوما في دم تطهيرها. كل شيء مقدس لا تمسّ والى المقدس لا تجيء حتى تكمل ايام تطهيرها.
5 "If she gives birth to a girl, she wil be unclean for two weeks, as during her monthly periods; and willwait another sixty-six days for her blood to be purified.	5 وان ولدت انثى تكون نجسة اسبوعين كما في طمثها. ثم تقيم ستة وستين يوما في دم تطهيرها.
6 "When the period of her purification is over, for either boy or girl, she wil bring the priest at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting a lamb one year old for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or turtledove as asacrifice for sin.	6 ومتى كملت ايام تطهيرها لاجل ابن او ابنة تأتي بخروف حولي محرقة وفرخ حمامة او يمامة ذبيحة خطية الى باب خيمة الاجتماع الى الكاهن
7 The priest must offer this before Yahweh, perform the rite of expiation for her, and she wil be purified from her discharge of blood. "Such is the law concerning a woman who gives birth to either a boy or a girl.	7 فيقدمهما امام الرب ويكفّر عنها فتطهر من ينبوع دمها. هذه شريعة التي تلد ذكرا او انثى.
8 If she cannot afford a lamb, she must take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for the burntoffering and the other for the sacrifice for sin. The priest will perform the rite of expiation for her and she wil bepurified." '	8 وان لم تنل يدها كفاية لشاة تاخذ يمامتين او فرخي حمام الواحد محرقة والآخر ذبيحة خطية فيكفّر عنها الكاهن فتطهر
