Leviticus 12

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	1 Így szólt továbbá az Úr Mózeshez:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "If a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth to a boy, she wil beunclean for seven days as when in a state of pol ution due to menstruation.	2 »Szólj Izrael fiaihoz és mondd nekik: Ha egy asszony magzatot fogan és fiút szül, hét napig olyan tisztátalan legyen, mint a havi tisztulás miatt való elkülönülés napjaiban.
3 On the eighth day the child's foreskin must be circumcised,	3 A nyolcadik napon aztán metéljék körül a kisdedet,
4 and she wil wait another thirty-three days for her blood to be purified. She wil not touch anythingconsecrated nor go to the sanctuary until the time of her purification is over.	4 ő maga pedig maradjon harminchárom napig otthon, tisztulása vérében; semmi szent dolgot ne érintsen, a szent helyre be ne menjen, míg le nem telnek tisztulása napjai.
5 "If she gives birth to a girl, she wil be unclean for two weeks, as during her monthly periods; and willwait another sixty-six days for her blood to be purified.	5 Ha lányt szül, két hétig legyen olyan tisztátalan, mint a havi tisztuláskor szokás és hatvanhat napig maradjon otthon tisztulása vérében.
6 "When the period of her purification is over, for either boy or girl, she wil bring the priest at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting a lamb one year old for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or turtledove as asacrifice for sin.	6 Amikor aztán letelnek a fiú vagy a lány miatt való tisztulása napjai, vigyen egy egyesztendős bárányt egészen elégő áldozatul meg egy galambfiókát vagy egy gerlét bűnért való áldozatul a bizonyság sátrának ajtajához, s adja oda a papnak,
7 The priest must offer this before Yahweh, perform the rite of expiation for her, and she wil be purified from her discharge of blood. "Such is the law concerning a woman who gives birth to either a boy or a girl.	7 az pedig mutassa be azokat az Úr előtt és könyörögjön érte, s akkor megtisztul vérfolyása miatt való tisztátalanságától. Ez a törvény a fiút vagy a lányt szülő asszonyra vonatkozólag.
8 If she cannot afford a lamb, she must take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for the burntoffering and the other for the sacrifice for sin. The priest will perform the rite of expiation for her and she wil bepurified." '	8 Ha azonban arra nem telik neki és bárányt vinni nem tud, két gerlét vagy két galambfiókát vigyen: egyet egészen elégő áldozatul, s egyet bűnért való áldozatul, s könyörögjön érte a pap, s akkor megtisztul«.
