Isaiah 45

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 Thus says Yahweh to his anointed one, to Cyrus whom, he says, I have grasped by his right hand, tomake the nations bow before him and to disarm kings, to open gateways before him so that their gates be closedno more:	1 Így szól az Úr felkentjéről, Círuszról: »Megfogtam jobbját, hogy nemzeteket hódoltassak meg előtte, és királyok derekán oldom meg az övet, hogy ajtókat nyissak meg előtte, és kapuk ne maradjanak zárva.
2 I myself shal go before you, I shall level the heights, I shal shatter the bronze gateways, I shall smashthe iron bars.	2 Én előtted megyek, és a hegyeket elegyengetem; ércajtókat török össze, és vaszárakat verek le.
3 I shal give you secret treasures and hidden hoards of wealth, so that you will know that I am Yahweh,who cal you by your name, the God of Israel.	3 Neked adom a sötétség kincseit és a rejtekhelyek drágaságait, hogy megtudd: én vagyok az Úr, aki neveden szólítottalak, Izrael Istene.
4 It is for the sake of my servant Jacob and of Israel my chosen one, that I have cal ed you by your name,have given you a title though you do not know me.	4 Szolgámért, Jákobért, és Izraelért, választottamért szólítottalak neveden, nevet adok neked, noha nem ismertél.
5 I am Yahweh, and there is no other, there is no other God except me. Though you do not know me, Ihave armed you	5 Én vagyok az Úr, és nincs más, rajtam kívül nincs Isten! Felövezlek téged, noha nem ismertél,
6 so that it may be known from east to west that there is no one except me. I am Yahweh, and there is noother,	6 hogy megtudják napkelettől napnyugatig: senki sincs rajtam kívül, én vagyok az Úr, és nincs más!
7 I form the light and I create the darkness, I make well-being, and I create disaster, I, Yahweh, do althese things.	7 Én alkotok világosságot, és teremtek sötétséget, én szerzek jólétet, és teremtek bajt; én, az Úr, cselekszem mindezeket.
8 Rain down, you heavens, from above, and let the clouds pour down saving justice, let the earth openup and blossom with salvation, and let justice sprout with it; I, Yahweh, have created it!	8 Harmatozzatok, egek, felülről, és a felhők hullassanak igazságot! Nyíljék meg a föld, teremjen szabadulást, és igazság sarjadjon vele! Én, az Úr, teremtettem azt.«
9 Woe to anyone who argues with his Maker, one earthenware pot among many! Does the clay say to itspotter, 'What are you doing? Your work has no hands!'	9 Jaj annak, aki perbe száll formálójával, noha csak cserép a föld cserepei között! Mondhatja-e formálójának az agyag: »Mit csinálsz?«, vagy a mű: »Nincs ügyes kezed«?
10 Woe to anyone who asks a father, 'Why are you begetting?' and a woman, 'Why are you giving birth?'	10 Jaj annak, aki azt mondja az apának: »Miért nemzel?«, s az asszonynak: »Miért szülsz?!«
11 Thus says Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel and his Maker: I am asked for signs regarding my sons, Iam given orders about the work I do.	11 Így szól az Úr, Izrael Szentje és formálója: »A jövendőt kérdezitek tőlem fiaimról, és kezem művéről parancsoltok nekem?
12 It was I who made the earth and I created human beings on it, mine were the hands that spread outthe heavens and I have given the orders to all their array.	12 Én alkottam a földet, és az embert rajta én teremtettem; az én kezem feszítette ki az eget, és minden seregének én parancsoltam.
13 I myself have raised him in saving justice and I shall make all paths level for him. He will rebuild mycity and bring my exiles home without ransom or indemnity, says Yahweh Sabaoth.	13 Én támasztottam őt igazságban, és minden útját én egyengetem; ő építi fel városomat, és foglyaimat ő bocsátja el, nem vételárért és nem ajándékért«, – mondja a Seregek Ura.
14 Thus says Yahweh: The produce of Egypt, the commerce of Cush and the men of Seba, tall ofstature, wil come over to you and belong to you. They will fol ow you, walking in chains, they wil bow beforeyou, they wil pray to you, 'With you alone is God, and there is no other! The gods do not exist.'	14 Így szól az Úr: »Egyiptom szerzeménye, Etiópia nyeresége és a sábaiak, szálas termetű férfiak hozzád vonulnak, s a tieid lesznek, utánad mennek, bilincsbe verve vonulnak; feléd borulnak le, hozzád könyörögnek: ‘Csak benned van Isten, és nincs más, nem létezik más Isten!’«
15 Truly, you are a God who conceals himself, God of Israel, Saviour!	15 Valóban, rejtőző Isten vagy te, Izrael Istene, szabadító!
16 They are shamed and humbled, every one of them, humiliated they go, the makers of idols.	16 Megszégyenülnek és szégyent vallanak mindnyájan, egyaránt gyalázatra jutnak a bálványok készítői.
17 Israel wil be saved by Yahweh, saved everlastingly. You will never be ashamed or humiliated for everand ever.	17 Izrael megszabadul az Úr által, örökké tartó szabadulással; nem szégyenültök meg és nem vallotok szégyent soha, soha többé!
18 For thus says Yahweh, the Creator of the heavens -- he is God, who shaped the earth and made it,who set it firm; he did not create it to be chaos, he formed it to be lived in: I am Yahweh, and there is no other.	18 Mert így szól az Úr, aki az eget teremtette, ő, az Isten, aki a földet formálta és megalkotta, ő, aki megalapozta, és nem pusztaságnak teremtette, hanem azért formálta, hogy lakjanak rajta: »Én vagyok az Úr, és nincs más.
19 I have not spoken in secret, in some dark corner of the underworld. I did not say, 'Offspring of Jacob,search for me in chaos!' I am Yahweh: I proclaim saving justice, I say what is true.	19 Nem a rejtekben szóltam, a földnek egy sötét helyén; nem mondtam Jákob ivadékának: ‘Hiába kerestek!’ Én, az Úr, igazat beszélek, igazságot hirdetek.
20 Assemble, come, al of you gather round, survivors of the nations. They have no knowledge, thosewho parade their wooden idols and pray to a god that cannot save.	20 Gyűljetek össze és jöjjetek, lépjetek ide együtt, akik a nemzetek közül megmenekültetek! Oktalanok, akik bálványuk fáját hordozzák, és olyan istenhez könyörögnek, aki nem szabadít meg.
21 Speak up, present your case, let them put their heads together! Who foretold this in the past, whorevealed it long ago? Was it not I, Yahweh? There is no other god except me, no saving God, no Saviour exceptme!	21 Hirdessétek és adjátok elő, tanácskozzatok is egymással! Ki adta tudtul ezt kezdettől fogva? Ki hirdette régóta? Nemde én, az Úr? Nincs más Isten rajtam kívül, igaz és szabadító Isten nincs kívülem.
22 Turn to me and you wil be saved, al you ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is no other.	22 Forduljatok hozzám, és megszabadultok, a földnek határai mind, mert én vagyok az Isten, és nincs más!
23 By my own self I swear it; what comes from my mouth is saving justice, it is an irrevocable word: Alshall bend the knee to me, by me every tongue shall swear,	23 Önmagamra esküdtem, igazság jött ki számból, szó, amely nem tér vissza: előttem hajlik meg minden térd, énrám esküszik minden nyelv.«
24 saying, 'In Yahweh alone are saving justice and strength,' until al those who used to rage at him cometo him in shame.	24 Azt mondják: »Csak az Úrban van igazság és erő!« Hozzá jönnek és megszégyenülnek mind, akik pereltek vele.
25 In Yahweh the whole race of Israel finds justice and glory.	25 Az Úrban lesz igazzá és dicsekszik Izrael minden ivadéka.
