Psalms 96

NEW JERUSALEM	STUTTGARTENSIA-DELITZSCH
1 Sing a new song to Yahweh! Sing to Yahweh, al the earth!	1 שִׁירוּ לַיהוָה שִׁיר חָדָשׁ שִׁירוּ לַיהוָה כָּל־הָאָרֶץ
2 Sing to Yahweh, bless his name! Proclaim his salvation day after day,	2 שִׁירוּ לַיהוָה בָּרֲכוּ שְׁמֹו בַּשְּׂרוּ מִיֹּום־לְיֹום יְשׁוּעָתֹו
3 declare his glory among the nations, his marvels to every people!	3 סַפְּרוּ בַגֹּויִם כְּבֹודֹו בְּכָל־הָעַמִּים נִפְלְאֹותָיו
4 Great is Yahweh, worthy of al praise, more awesome than any of the gods.	4 כִּי גָדֹול יְהוָה וּמְהֻלָּל מְאֹד נֹורָא הוּא עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִים
5 Al the gods of the nations are idols! It was Yahweh who made the heavens;	5 כִּי ׀ כָּל־אֱלֹהֵי הָעַמִּים אֱלִילִים וַיהוָה שָׁמַיִם עָשָׂה
6 in his presence are splendour and majesty, in his sanctuary power and beauty.	6 הֹוד־וְהָדָר לְפָנָיו עֹז וְתִפְאֶרֶת בְּמִקְדָּשֹׁו
7 Give to Yahweh, families of nations, give to Yahweh glory and power,	7 הָבוּ לַיהוָה מִשְׁפְּחֹות עַמִּים הָבוּ לַיהוָה כָּבֹוד וָעֹז
8 give to Yahweh the glory due to his name! Bring an offering and enter his courts,	8 הָבוּ לַיהוָה כְּבֹוד שְׁמֹו שְׂאוּ־מִנְחָה וּבֹאוּ לְחַצְרֹותָיו
9 adore Yahweh in the splendour of his holiness. Tremble before him, al the earth.	9 הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַיהוָה בְּהַדְרַת־קֹדֶשׁ חִילוּ מִפָּנָיו כָּל־הָאָרֶץ
10 Say among the nations, 'Yahweh is king.' The world is set firm, it cannot be moved. He wil judge thenations with justice.	10 אִמְרוּ בַגֹּויִם ׀ יְהוָה מָלָךְ אַף־תִּכֹּון תֵּבֵל בַּל־תִּמֹּוט יָדִין עַמִּים בְּמֵישָׁרִים
11 Let the heavens rejoice and earth be glad! Let the sea thunder, and al it holds!	11 יִשְׂמְחוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם וְתָגֵל הָאָרֶץ יִרְעַם הַיָּם וּמְלֹאֹו
12 Let the countryside exult, and al that is in it, and al the trees of the forest cry out for joy,	12 יַעֲלֹז דַי וְכָל־אֲשֶׁר־בֹּו אָז יְרַנְּנוּ כָּל־עֲצֵי־יָעַר
13 at Yahweh's approach, for he is coming, coming to judge the earth; he will judge the world withsaving justice, and the nations with constancy.	13 לִפְנֵי יְהוָה ׀ כִּי בָא כִּי בָא לִשְׁפֹּט הָאָרֶץ יִשְׁפֹּט־תֵּבֵל בְּצֶדֶק וְעַמִּים בֶּאֱמוּנָתֹו
