Psalms 96

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Sing a new song to Yahweh! Sing to Yahweh, al the earth!	1 Canten al Señor un canto nuevo, cante al Señor toda la tierra;
2 Sing to Yahweh, bless his name! Proclaim his salvation day after day,	2 canten al Señor, bendigan su Nombre, día tras día, proclamen su victoria.
3 declare his glory among the nations, his marvels to every people!	3 Anuncien su gloria entre las naciones, y sus maravillas entre los pueblos.
4 Great is Yahweh, worthy of al praise, more awesome than any of the gods.	4 Porque el Señor es grande y muy digno de alabanza, más temible que todos los dioses.
5 Al the gods of the nations are idols! It was Yahweh who made the heavens;	5 Los dioses de los pueblos no son más que apariencia, pero el Señor hizo el cielo;
6 in his presence are splendour and majesty, in his sanctuary power and beauty.	6 en su presencia hay esplendor y majestad, en su Santuario, poder y hermosura.
7 Give to Yahweh, families of nations, give to Yahweh glory and power,	7 Aclamen al Señor, familias de los pueblos, aclamen la gloria y el poder del Señor;
8 give to Yahweh the glory due to his name! Bring an offering and enter his courts,	8 aclamen la gloria del nombre del Señor. Entren en sus atrios trayendo una ofrenda,
9 adore Yahweh in the splendour of his holiness. Tremble before him, al the earth.	9 adoren al Señor al manifestarse su santidad: ¡que toda la tierra tiemble ante él!
10 Say among the nations, 'Yahweh is king.' The world is set firm, it cannot be moved. He wil judge thenations with justice.	10 Digan entre las naciones: «¡el Señor reina! El mundo está firme y no vacilará. El Señor juzgará a los pueblos con rectitud».
11 Let the heavens rejoice and earth be glad! Let the sea thunder, and al it holds!	11 Alégrese el cielo y exulte la tierra, resuene el mar y todo lo que hay en él;
12 Let the countryside exult, and al that is in it, and al the trees of the forest cry out for joy,	12 regocíjese el campo con todos sus frutos, griten de gozo los árboles del bosque.
13 at Yahweh's approach, for he is coming, coming to judge the earth; he will judge the world withsaving justice, and the nations with constancy.	13 Griten de gozo delante del Señor, porque él viene a gobernar la tierra: él gobernará al mundo con justicia, y a los pueblos con su verdad.
