1 [Prayer Of David] Listen to me, Yahweh, answer me, for I am poor and needy.	1 תפלה לדוד הטה יהוה אזנך ענני כי עני ואביון אני
2 Guard me, for I am faithful, save your servant who relies on you. You are my God,	2 שמרה נפשי כי חסיד אני הושע עבדך אתה אלהי הבוטח אליך
3 take pity on me, Lord, for to you I cry al the day.	3 חנני אדני כי אליך אקרא כל היום
4 Fil your servant's heart with joy, Lord, for to you I raise up my heart.	4 שמח נפש עבדך כי אליך אדני נפשי אשא
5 Lord, you are kind and forgiving, rich in faithful love for al who cal upon you.	5 כי אתה אדני טוב וסלח ורב חסד לכל קראיך
6 Yahweh, hear my prayer, listen to the sound of my pleading.	6 האזינה יהוה תפלתי והקשיבה בקול תחנונותי
7 In my day of distress I cal upon you, because you answer me, Lord;	7 ביום צרתי אקראך כי תענני
8 among the gods there is none to compare with you, no great deeds to compare with yours.	8 אין כמוך באלהים אדני ואין כמעשיך
9 Al nations wil come and adore you, Lord, and give glory to your name.	9 כל גוים אשר עשית יבואו וישתחוו לפניך אדני ויכבדו לשמך
10 For you are great and do marvel ous deeds, you, God, and none other.	10 כי גדול אתה ועשה נפלאות אתה אלהים לבדך
11 Teach me, Yahweh, your ways, that I may not stray from your loyalty; let my heart's one aim be tofear your name.	11 הורני יהוה דרכך אהלך באמתך יחד לבבי ליראה שמך
12 I thank you with al my heart, Lord my God, I wil glorify your name for ever,	12 אודך אדני אלהי בכל לבבי ואכבדה שמך לעולם
13 for your faithful love for me is so great that you have rescued me from the depths of Sheol.	13 כי חסדך גדול עלי והצלת נפשי משאול תחתיה
14 Arrogant men, God, are rising up against me, a brutal gang is after my life, in their scheme of thingsyou have no place.	14 אלהים זדים קמו עלי ועדת עריצים בקשו נפשי ולא שמוך לנגדם
15 But you, Lord, God of tenderness and mercy, slow to anger, rich in faithful love and loyalty,	15 ואתה אדני אל רחום וחנון ארך אפים ורב חסד ואמת
16 turn to me and pity me. Give to your servant your strength, to the child of your servant your savinghelp,	16 פנה אלי וחנני תנה עזך לעבדך והושיעה לבן אמתך
17 give me a sign of your kindness.	17 עשה עמי אות לטובה ויראו שנאי ויבשו כי אתה יהוה עזרתני ונחמתני
18 My enemies wil see to their shame that you, Yahweh, help and console me.
