Psalms 86

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [Prayer Of David] Listen to me, Yahweh, answer me, for I am poor and needy.	1 Oración de David. Inclina tu oído, Señor, respóndeme, porque soy pobre y miserable;
2 Guard me, for I am faithful, save your servant who relies on you. You are my God,	2 protégeme, porque soy uno de tus fieles, salva a tu servidor que en ti confía.
3 take pity on me, Lord, for to you I cry al the day.	3 Tú eres mi Dios: ten piedad de mí, Señor, porque te invoco todo el día;
4 Fil your servant's heart with joy, Lord, for to you I raise up my heart.	4 reconforta el ánimo de tu servidor, porque a ti, Señor, elevo mi alma.
5 Lord, you are kind and forgiving, rich in faithful love for al who cal upon you.	5 Tú, Señor, eres bueno e indulgente, rico en misericordia con aquellos que te invocan:
6 Yahweh, hear my prayer, listen to the sound of my pleading.	6 ¡atiende, Señor, a mi plegaria, escucha la voz de mi súplica!
7 In my day of distress I cal upon you, because you answer me, Lord;	7 Yo te invoco en el momento de la angustia; porque tú me respondes.
8 among the gods there is none to compare with you, no great deeds to compare with yours.	8 No hay otro dios igual a ti, Señor, ni hay obras como las tuyas.
9 Al nations wil come and adore you, Lord, and give glory to your name.	9 Todas las naciones que has creado vendrán a postrarse delante de ti y glorificarán tu Nombre, Señor.
10 For you are great and do marvel ous deeds, you, God, and none other.	10 porque tú eres grande, Dios mío, y eres el único que hace maravillas.
11 Teach me, Yahweh, your ways, that I may not stray from your loyalty; let my heart's one aim be tofear your name.	11 Indícame tu camino, Señor, para que yo viva según tu verdad; orienta totalmente mi corazón al temor de tu Nombre.
12 I thank you with al my heart, Lord my God, I wil glorify your name for ever,	12 Te daré gracias, Dios mío, de todo corazón, y glorificaré tu Nombre eternamente;
13 for your faithful love for me is so great that you have rescued me from the depths of Sheol.	13 porque es grande el amor que me tienes, y tú me libraste del fondo del Abismo.
14 Arrogant men, God, are rising up against me, a brutal gang is after my life, in their scheme of thingsyou have no place.	14 Dios mío, los orgullosos se levantaron contra mí, y una banda de forajidos atenta contra mi vida sin preocuparse para nada de ti.
15 But you, Lord, God of tenderness and mercy, slow to anger, rich in faithful love and loyalty,	15 Pero tú, Señor, Dios compasivo y bondadoso, lento para enojarte, rico en amor y fidelidad,
16 turn to me and pity me. Give to your servant your strength, to the child of your servant your savinghelp,	16 vuelve hacia mí tu rostro y ten piedad de mí; fortalece a tu servidor, salva a tu hijo de tu servidora.
17 give me a sign of your kindness.	17 Dame una prueba de tu bondad, para que mis adversarios queden confundidos, al ver que tú, Señor, eres mi ayuda y mi consuelo.
18 My enemies wil see to their shame that you, Yahweh, help and console me.
