Psalms 83

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 [Song Psalm Of Asaph] God, do not remain silent, do not stay quiet or unmoved, God!	1 تسبيحة. مزمور لآساف‎. ‎اللهم لا تصمت لا تسكت ولا تهدأ يا الله‎.
2 See how your enemies are in uproar, how those who hate you are rearing their heads.	2 ‎فهوذا اعداؤك يعجون ومبغضوك قد رفعوا الراس‎.
3 They are laying plans against your people, conspiring against those you cherish;	3 ‎على شعبك مكروا مؤامرة وتشاوروا على أحميائك‎.
4 they say, 'Come, let us annihilate them as a nation, the name of Israel shall be remembered no more!'	4 ‎قالوا هلم نبدهم من بين الشعوب ولا يذكر اسم اسرائيل بعد
5 They conspire with a single mind, they conclude an al iance against you,	5 لانهم تآمروا بالقلب معا. عليك تعاهدوا عهدا‎.
6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,	6 ‎خيام ادوم والاسمعيليين . موآب والهاجريون‎.
7 Gebal, Ammon, Amalek, Philistia and the Tyrians;	7 ‎جبال وعمون وعماليق. فلسطين مع سكان صور‎.
8 even Assyria has joined them to reinforce the children of Lot.Pause	8 ‎اشور ايضا اتفق معهم. صاروا ذراعا لبني لوط. سلاه‎.
9 Treat them like Midian and Sisera, like Jabin at the river Kishon;	9 ‎افعل بهم كما بمديان كما بسيسرا كما بيابين في وادي قيشون‎.
10 wiped out at En-Dor, they served to manure the ground.	10 ‎بادوا في عين دور. صاروا دمنا للارض‎.
11 Treat their leaders like Oreb and Zeeb, al their commanders like Zebah and Zalmunna,	11 ‎اجعلهم شرفاءهم مثل غراب ومثل ذئب. ومثل زبح ومثل صلمناع كل امرائهم‎.
12 for they said, 'Let us take for ourselves God's settlements.'	12 ‎الذين قالوا لنمتلك لانفسنا مساكن الله
13 My God, treat them like thistledown, like chaff at the mercy of the wind.	13 يا الهي اجعلهم مثل الجل مثل القش امام الريح‎.
14 As fire devours a forest, as a flame sets mountains ablaze,	14 ‎كنار تحرق الوعر كلهيب يشعل الجبال
15 so drive them away with your tempest, by your whirlwind fill them with terror.	15 هكذا اطردهم بعاصفتك وبزوبعتك روعهم‎.
16 Shame written al over their faces, let them seek your name, Yahweh!	16 ‎املأ وجوههم خزيا فيطلبوا اسمك يا رب‎.
17 Dishonour and terror be always theirs, death also and destruction.	17 ‎ليخزوا ويرتاعوا الى الابد وليخجلوا ويبيدوا
18 Let them know that you alone bear the name of Yahweh, Most High over al the earth.	18 ويعلموا انك اسمك يهوه وحدك العلي على كل الارض
