1 [Song Psalm Of Asaph] God, do not remain silent, do not stay quiet or unmoved, God!	1 Canto. Salmo. Di Asaf.
2 See how your enemies are in uproar, how those who hate you are rearing their heads.	2 Dio, non startene muto,non restare in silenzio e inerte, o Dio.
3 They are laying plans against your people, conspiring against those you cherish;	3 Vedi: i tuoi nemici sono in tumultoe quelli che ti odiano alzano la testa.
4 they say, 'Come, let us annihilate them as a nation, the name of Israel shall be remembered no more!'	4 Contro il tuo popolo tramano congiuree cospirano contro i tuoi protetti.
5 They conspire with a single mind, they conclude an al iance against you,	5 Hanno detto: «Venite, cancelliamoli come popoloe più non si ricordi il nome d’Israele».
6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,	6 Hanno tramato insieme concordi,contro di te hanno concluso un patto:
7 Gebal, Ammon, Amalek, Philistia and the Tyrians;	7 le tende di Edom e gli Ismaeliti,Moab e gli Agareni,
8 even Assyria has joined them to reinforce the children of Lot.Pause	8 Gebal, Ammon e Amalèk,la Filistea con gli abitanti di Tiro.
9 Treat them like Midian and Sisera, like Jabin at the river Kishon;	9 Anche l’Assiria è loro alleatae dà man forte ai figli di Lot.
10 wiped out at En-Dor, they served to manure the ground.	10 Trattali come Madian, come Sìsara,come Iabin al torrente Kison:
11 Treat their leaders like Oreb and Zeeb, al their commanders like Zebah and Zalmunna,	11 essi furono distrutti a Endor,divennero concime dei campi.
12 for they said, 'Let us take for ourselves God's settlements.'	12 Rendi i loro prìncipi come Oreb e Zeeb,e come Zebach e come Salmunnà tutti i loro capi;
13 My God, treat them like thistledown, like chaff at the mercy of the wind.	13 essi dicevano:«I pascoli di Dio conquistiamoli per noi».
14 As fire devours a forest, as a flame sets mountains ablaze,	14 Mio Dio, rendili come un vortice,come paglia che il vento disperde.
15 so drive them away with your tempest, by your whirlwind fill them with terror.	15 Come fuoco che incendia la macchiae come fiamma che divampa sui monti,
16 Shame written al over their faces, let them seek your name, Yahweh!	16 così tu incalzali con la tua buferae sgomentali con il tuo uragano.
17 Dishonour and terror be always theirs, death also and destruction.	17 Copri di vergogna i loro voltiperché cerchino il tuo nome, Signore.
18 Let them know that you alone bear the name of Yahweh, Most High over al the earth.	18 Siano svergognati e tremanti per sempre,siano confusi e distrutti;
	19 sappiano che il tuo nome è «Signore»:tu solo l’Altissimo su tutta la terra.
