1 [Song Psalm Of Asaph] God, do not remain silent, do not stay quiet or unmoved, God!	1 Canticum. Psalmus. Asaph.
2 See how your enemies are in uproar, how those who hate you are rearing their heads.	2 Deus, ne quiescas, ne taceas neque compescaris, Deus,
3 They are laying plans against your people, conspiring against those you cherish;	3 quoniam ecce inimici tui fremuerunt, et, qui oderunt te, extulerunt caput.
4 they say, 'Come, let us annihilate them as a nation, the name of Israel shall be remembered no more!'	4 Adversus populum tuum malignaverunt consilium et cogitaverunt adversus eos, quos abscondisti tibi.
5 They conspire with a single mind, they conclude an al iance against you,	5 Dixerunt: “ Venite, et disperdamus eos de gente, et non memoretur nomen Israel ultra! ”.
6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,	6 Quoniam cogitaverunt unanimiter, adversum te testamentum statuerunt:

9 Treat them like Midian and Sisera, like Jabin at the river Kishon;	9 Etenim Assur sociabatur cum illis; facti sunt in adiutorium filiis Lot.

13 My God, treat them like thistledown, like chaff at the mercy of the wind.	13 qui dixerunt: “ Hereditate possideamus pascua Dei! ”.
14 As fire devours a forest, as a flame sets mountains ablaze,	14 Deus meus, pone illos ut rotam et sicut stipulam ante ventum.
15 so drive them away with your tempest, by your whirlwind fill them with terror.	15 Sicut ignis, qui comburit silvam, et sicut flamma devorans montes,
16 Shame written al over their faces, let them seek your name, Yahweh!	16 ita persequeris illos in tempestate tua et in procella tua turbabis eos.
17 Dishonour and terror be always theirs, death also and destruction.	17 Imple facies eorum ignominia, et quaerent nomen tuum, Domine.
18 Let them know that you alone bear the name of Yahweh, Most High over al the earth.	18 Erubescant et conturbentur in saeculum saeculi et confundantur et pereant;
	19 et cognoscant quia nomen tibi Dominus: tu solus Altissimus super omnem terram.
