1 [For the choirmaster Song Psalm] Acclaim God, al the earth,	1 Al maestro di coro. Canto. Salmo. Acclamate a Dio da tutta la terra,
2 sing psalms to the glory of his name, glorify him with your praises,	2 inneggiate alla gloria del suo nome; rendete splendida la sua lode.
3 say to God, 'How awesome you are! 'Your achievements are the measure of your power, yourenemies woo your favour,	3 Dite a Dio: "Sono stupende le tue opere, per la grandezza della tua forza davanti a te si piegano i tuoi avversari.
4 al the earth bows down before you, sings psalms to you, sings psalms to your name.'Pause	4 Davanti a te si prostra tutta la terra e inneggia a te, inneggia al tuo nome".
5 Come and see the marvels of God, his awesome deeds for the children of Adam:	5 Orsù, contemplate le meraviglie di Dio: mirabile è il suo agire verso i figli dell'uomo.

9 he brings us to life and keeps our feet from stumbling.	9 Egli ha posto fra i vivi la nostra anima, e non ha permesso che vacillassero i nostri passi.
10 God, you have put us to the test, refined us like silver,	10 Sì, o Dio, tu ci hai messi alla prova, ci hai fatti passare al crogiuolo, come si passa l'argento.
11 let us fal into the net; you have put a heavy strain on our backs,	11 Ci hai fatti cadere in agguato, hai posto un peso ai nostri fianchi.
