1 [For the choirmaster Song Psalm] Acclaim God, al the earth,	1 Del maestro de coro. Cántico. Salmo. Aclamad a Dios, la tierra toda,
2 sing psalms to the glory of his name, glorify him with your praises,	2 salmodiad a la gloria de su nombre, rendidle el honor de su alabanza,
3 say to God, 'How awesome you are! 'Your achievements are the measure of your power, yourenemies woo your favour,	3 decid a Dios: ¡Qué terribles tus obras! Por la grandeza de tu fuerza, tus enemigos vienen a adularte;
4 al the earth bows down before you, sings psalms to you, sings psalms to your name.'Pause	4 toda la tierra se postra ante ti, y salmodia para ti, a tu nombre salmodia. Pausa.
5 Come and see the marvels of God, his awesome deeds for the children of Adam:	5 Venid y ved las obras de Dios, temible en sus gestas por los hijos de Adán:
6 he changed the sea into dry land, they crossed the river on foot. So let us rejoice in him,	6 él convirtió el mar en tierra firme, el río fue cruzado a pie. Allí, nuestra alegría en él,
7 who rules for ever by his power; his eyes keep watch on the nations to forestal rebel ion againsthim.Pause	7 que por su poder domina para siempre. Sus ojos vigilan las naciones, no se alcen los rebeldes contra él. Pausa.
8 Nations, bless our God, let the sound of his praise be heard;	8 Pueblos, bendecid a nuestro Dios, haced que se oiga la voz de su alabanza,
9 he brings us to life and keeps our feet from stumbling.	9 él, que devuelve nuestra alma a la vida, y no deja que vacilen nuestros pies.
10 God, you have put us to the test, refined us like silver,	10 Tú nos probaste, oh Dios, nos purgaste, cual se purga la plata;
11 let us fal into the net; you have put a heavy strain on our backs,	11 nos prendiste en la red, pusiste una correa a nuestros lomos,
12 let men ride over our heads; but now the ordeal by fire and water is over, you have led us out tobreathe again.	12 dejaste que un cualquiera a nuestra cabeza cabalgara, por el fuego y el agua atravesamos; mas luego nos sacaste para cobrar aliento.
13 I bring burnt offerings to your house, I fulfil to you my vows,	13 Con holocaustos entraré en tu Casa, te cumpliré mis votos,
14 the vows that rose to my lips, that I pronounced when I was in trouble.	14 los que abrieron mis labios, los que en la angustia pronunció mi boca.
15 I wil offer you rich burnt offerings, with the smoke of burning rams. I wil sacrifice to you bul ocks andgoats.Pause	15 Te ofreceré pingües holocaustos, con el sahumerio de carneros, sacrificaré bueyes y cabritos. Pausa.
16 Come and listen, all who fear God, while I tel what he has done for me.	16 Venid a oír y os contaré, vosotros todos los que teméis a Dios, lo que él ha hecho por mí.
17 To him I cried aloud, high praise was on my tongue.	17 A él gritó mi boca, la alabanza ya en mi lengua.
18 Had I been aware of guilt in my heart, the Lord would not have listened,	18 Si yo en mi corazón hubiera visto iniquidad, el Señor no me habría escuchado.
19 but in fact God did listen, attentive to the sound of my prayer.	19 Pero Dios me ha escuchado, atento a la voz de mi oración.
20 Blessed be God who has not turned away my prayer, nor his own faithful love from me.	20 ¡Bendito sea Dios, que no ha rechazado mi oración ni su amor me ha retirado!
