1 [For the choirmaster Psalm Of David] Listen, God, to my voice as I plead, protect my life from fear ofthe enemy;	1 למנצח מזמור לדוד שמע אלהים קולי בשיחי מפחד אויב תצר חיי
2 hide me from the league of the wicked, from the gang of evil-doers.	2 תסתירני מסוד מרעים מרגשת פעלי און
3 They sharpen their tongues like a sword, aim their arrows of poisonous abuse,	3 אשר שננו כחרב לשונם דרכו חצם דבר מר
4 shoot at the innocent from cover, shoot suddenly, with nothing to fear.	4 לירות במסתרים תם פתאם ירהו ולא ייראו
5 They support each other in their evil designs, they discuss how to lay their snares. 'Who wil see us?'they say,	5 יחזקו למו דבר רע יספרו לטמון מוקשים אמרו מי יראה למו
6 'or wil penetrate our secrets?' He wil do that, he who penetrates human nature to its depths, thedepths of the heart.	6 יחפשו עולת תמנו חפש מחפש וקרב איש ולב עמק
7 God has shot them with his arrow, sudden were their wounds.	7 וירם אלהים חץ פתאום היו מכותם
8 He brings them down because of their tongue, and al who see them shake their heads.	8 ויכשילוהו עלימו לשונם יתנדדו כל ראה בם
9 Everyone wil be awestruck, proclaim what God has done, and understand why he has done it.	9 וייראו כל אדם ויגידו פעל אלהים ומעשהו השכילו
10 The upright wil rejoice in Yahweh, wil take refuge in him, and al the honest wil praise him.	10 ישמח צדיק ביהוה וחסה בו ויתהללו כל ישרי לב
